Right to Work laws have been passed in a majority of the states in America. There have been a several variations, but all have one thing in common. After several attempts, Missouri has become the latest state to kick the Unions in the groin. Here are the details from Fox News:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Republican Gov. Eric Greitens signed legislation on Monday, (February 6, 2017), making Missouri the latest \u201cright-to-work\u201d state, as the growing movement sets its sights next on New Hampshire \u2013 hoping to break into one of the labor unions\u2019 last remaining strongholds. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Reagan_toasting.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16344\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Reagan_toasting-199x300.jpg?resize=199%2C300\" alt=\"\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Reagan_toasting.jpg?resize=199%2C300&amp;ssl=1 199w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Reagan_toasting.jpg?resize=500%2C753&amp;ssl=1 500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Reagan_toasting.jpg?w=597&amp;ssl=1 597w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 199px) 100vw, 199px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Legislation advancing in the New Hampshire capital, if approved, would make the state the first in the Northeast to go \u201cright-to-work.\u201d The measure, which bars unions from forcing employees to join or pay dues, is set for a vote in the state\u2019s House next week \u2013 after having passed the Senate. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>This has the potential to directly affect yours truly, me. Anger Central is based in New Hampshire. Now the nature of my career usually precludes me from having to join a union. However, in my recent search for gainful employment, I interviewed for a position in Boston.<\/p>\n<p>When I sat down to talk with everyone, they mentioned that they had just unionized. While I didn\u2019t get the job, being forced to join a union, especially with the pay levels being below the industry standard, thanks to the union contract, might just have been enough to keep me from taking the job had it been offered. I have passed on other openings because I would have been forced into a union against my will.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>The push is the latest sign of labor unions\u2019 diminishing clout, and how Republican gains at the state level are having a broad impact on policy, amid support for such legislation from the Trump White House. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Now here we have an interesting situation. In New Hampshire, we have 2 idiot representatives and two moonbat senators. (Our RINO was defeated in a close vote. Frankly, no great loss) However, the Republicans increased the number of seats in our legislature and also won the governors office. That was some rather odd ticket splitting. (Felonia von Pantsuit also carried the state narrowly)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>But even though Republicans won the governorship in New Hampshire last November, the right-to-work bill is still a toss-up in Concord. State Republican Rep. Stephen Schmidt, chairman of the House labor committee, said some Republicans are not supporting the bill. While he personally backs it, Schmidt voiced doubts about the bill\u2019s passage, saying it could come down to one or two votes. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201c<b>I believe it will be a very tight vote one way or another,\u201d he told Fox News. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time a Right to Work bill passed both houses and was sent to the governor\u2019s desk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Should the bill make it to Republican Gov. Chris Sununu\u2019s desk, he is expected to sign it. A similar measure had moved through the legislature in 2011, but had been vetoed by then-Gov. John Lynch, a Democrat. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>You can always count on the Democrats to obey their paymasters in the Unions. As for the unions? They\u2019re pulling their usual garbage about \u201cHelping the working Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>The local branch of the AFL-CIO said the bill would only inhibit working families\u2019 ability to bargain for what\u2019s best for them. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201c<b>This bill will silence the teachers who advocate on behalf of smaller class sizes for our children, the transportation employees who negotiate for the equipment they need to keep the roads clear after a blizzard and the police and firefighters who negotiate for the staffing levels they need to keep us safe,\u201d the New Hampshire union said. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-20194\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit-300x223.jpg?resize=300%2C223\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit.jpg?resize=300%2C223&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit.jpg?w=500&amp;ssl=1 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What the Unions are really terrified of is a repeat of what\u2019s been happening in other states when a right to work law is implemented. Their membership can\u2019t wait to tear up their union cards and beat feet out the door of the union halls. In Wisconsin, which had a major fight over the Right to Work law they passed, several union locals collapsed when the entire membership quit. Obviously, the union leadership isn\u2019t taking the hint.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Despite stiff resistance from unions, the right-to work-movement shows little sign of slowing down. Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin and West Virginia have passed similar legislation in the last five years, in addition to Kentucky and now Missouri. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>If these laws weren\u2019t popular, then he politicians who enacted them would be voted out of office. There have been attempts at recall elections, the governor of Wisconsin being the most notable, and each attempt has failed miserably.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/recovering-dumbass.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16080\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/recovering-dumbass-300x219.jpg?resize=300%2C219\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"219\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/recovering-dumbass.jpg?resize=300%2C219&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/recovering-dumbass.jpg?resize=500%2C365&amp;ssl=1 500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/recovering-dumbass.jpg?w=640&amp;ssl=1 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Some Republicans in Congress also are pushing national versions. Last week, Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., introduced the National Right to Work Act, which would amend the National Labor Relations Act to give American workers the \u201cright\u201d not to be forced to join a union or pay union dues. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201c<b>Right-to-work states, like South Carolina, have seen first-hand that job creation and economic growth comes from expanded freedoms. We need to expand common-sense reforms, like those in the National Right to Work Act to protect American workers and create jobs,\u201d Wilson said. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/useagle3.gif\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12315\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/useagle3.gif?resize=150%2C161\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"161\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Like at the state level, the move is likely to face significant pushback from labor unions. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201c<b>Right to work is a lie dressed up in a feel-good slogan. It doesn\u2019t give workers freedom\u2014instead, it weakens our right to join together and bargain for better wages and working conditions,\u201d AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka said in a statement responding to Wilson\u2019s legislation. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/head_up_ass.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17422\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/head_up_ass-266x300.jpg?resize=266%2C300\" alt=\"\" width=\"266\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/head_up_ass.jpg?resize=266%2C300&amp;ssl=1 266w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/head_up_ass.jpg?w=350&amp;ssl=1 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 266px) 100vw, 266px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Well Dickie, the thing about Right to work laws is that they don\u2019t outlaw unions. They just take away the coercion that you\u2019ve used for decades to enrich yourselves. If the employees at a company want to unionize, they still can. The problem for you Dickie, is that the unions no longer provide any real benefits, (in most cases), to the working people. In fact, you\u2019ve actually hurt working people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Trumka accused Republicans of trying to kill off organized labor. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201c<b>Its end goal is to destroy unions. Numbers don\u2019t lie. Workers in states with right to work laws have wages that are 12 percent lower. Do you know why wages are low? There are a number of reasons. For Information Technology workers, (Such as myself), it\u2019s the expansion of the H1B visas and their use to drive wages lower as well as replace American workers with foreign temp workers. How about the massive levels of regulations that a company has to deal with? Obamacare, which, as I recall, you backed, has cost millions of jobs. The day of the union in America is basically over. Unions were formed back in the lat 19<sup>th<\/sup> and early 20<sup>th<\/sup> centuries for real issues. Everything those people fought for is now codified into law. Frankly, I don\u2019t see that happening with the current crop of union leaders. Why not ask the United Mine Workers how well supporting Obama worked out for them?
