The details are still in flux, as you might expect. The tweet that started it all came from President Trump\u2019s personal account and said:<\/p>\n
\u201cTerrible! Just found out that Obama had my \u2018wires tapped\u2019 in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism,\u201d Trump tweeted.<\/strong><\/p>\n This started a number of tweets from President Trump regarding the alleged wiretapping. It has also started the denials from Obama and his minions. From what I\u2019ve been able to piece together, it appears that the Obama regime went to the FISA court to get a warrant to bug the communications and a server in Trump Towers. The claim was that they wanted to see if there were any contacts with the Russians. The original request was shot down by the FISA court.<\/p>\n Considering the tendency of the FISA judges to rubber stamp pretty much any request, this would seem to indicate that even they thought this was a pretty serious overreach by the Obama DoJ. This didn\u2019t stop the Obama regime from trying and they went back to the court with a modified request. This time the rubber stamp came out and the warrant was granted.<\/p>\n According to a story from Heartstreet last November<\/a>:<\/p>\n Two separate sources with links to the counter-intelligence community have confirmed to Heat Street that the FBI sought, and was granted, a FISA court warrant in October, giving counter-intelligence permission to examine the activities of \u2018U.S. persons\u2019 in Donald Trump\u2019s campaign with ties to Russia. <\/b><\/p>\n Contrary to earlier reporting in the New York Times, which cited FBI sources as saying that the agency did not believe that the private server in Donald Trump\u2019s Trump Tower which was connected to a Russian bank<\/a> had any nefarious purpose, the FBI\u2019s counter-intelligence arm, sources say, re-drew an earlier FISA court request around possible financial and banking offenses related to the server. The first request, which, sources say, named Trump, was denied back in June, but the second was drawn more narrowly and was granted in October after evidence was presented of a server, possibly related to the Trump campaign, and its alleged links to two banks; SVB Bank and Russia\u2019s Alfa Bank.<\/a> While the <\/b>Times <\/b><\/em>story speaks of metadata, sources suggest that a FISA warrant was granted to look at the full content of emails and other related documents that may concern US persons. <\/b><\/p>\n This is a very serious matter, if true. It indicated that the Obama Regime may have tried to rig the election in favor of Felonia von Pantsuit. With everything that\u2019s been thrown at the Trump Administration since the election, it does seem to show that there is something to what President Trump is saying.<\/p>\n As I mentioned, the denials from the Obama camp are coming out fast and furious. According to Fox News<\/a>:<\/p>\n Former Obama foreign policy adviser Ben Rhodes tweeted earlier in the day: “No President can order a wiretap. Those restrictions were put in place to protect citizens from people like you.” <\/b><\/p>\n Technically, this is correct, and you can thank Richard Nixon and the original Watergate wiretapping for this. However, while a president can\u2019t order a wiretapping, he, or she, can always do a \u201cKing Henry II<\/a>\u201d and make an off hand remark that can be used to start the train down the tracks. Since we know just how corrupt many of the Obama minions are, not to mention the attempts to jail reporters who didn\u2019t toe the Obama line, it\u2019s is very conceivable that Obama did want this to happen.<\/p>\n As you would expect, the Democrats and NeverTrumpers are quick to jump on President Trump\u2019s tweets, saying that it proves he should resign. However, they are overlooking a few small details. In the past, when president Trump has tweeted out something outrageous like this, it usually proves accurate.<\/p>\n Then there is also the small matter that Donald Trump is the President of the United States, and now has full access to everything. I suspect that in the next week or so, after the \u201cUsual Suspects\u201d rant and rave, the actual details will come out showing that yes, the Obama Regime did, in fact, Watergate the Trump Towers and that President Trump is right…again.<\/p>\n The Democrats have been screaming for a special prosecutor since before Donald Trump was even sworn in. They might just get one, but it won\u2019t be for an investigation into Donald Trump. It may be to investigate the previous administrations blatant attempts to use the organs of government to throw an election.
