Well, things might just be turning around. The February jobs report is out and it was far better than expected.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/snoopy-happy-dance.jpeg.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-14638\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/snoopy-happy-dance.jpeg-236x300.jpg?resize=236%2C300\" alt=\"\" width=\"236\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/snoopy-happy-dance.jpeg.jpg?resize=236%2C300&amp;ssl=1 236w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/snoopy-happy-dance.jpeg.jpg?w=300&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 236px) 100vw, 236px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This differs from the reports issued under the Obama <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\"><i>Catastrophe<\/i><\/span> Administration, which generally were piss poor and then ended up being adjusted downwards. This time, it looks like the Trump Effect has taken hold. Here are some details <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/markets\/2017\/03\/08\/u-s-private-employers-step-up-hiring-productivity-sluggish.html\" target=\"_blank\">from Fox Business<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Hiring by U.S. private employers surged in February, pointing to underlying strength in the economy that could encourage the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates next week. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Hiring may have surged, but they missed someone. ME!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>The ADP National Employment Report showed on Wednesday that private payrolls grew by 298,000 jobs last month, well above economists&#8217; expectations for a gain of 190,000. January&#8217;s private payrolls gains were revised up to 261,000 from 246,000. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/useagle3.gif\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12315\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/useagle3.gif?resize=150%2C161\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"161\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>The report, jointly developed with Moody&#8217;s Analytics, came ahead of the release on Friday of the U.S. Labor Department&#8217;s more comprehensive employment report. The ADP report, however, has a poor track record predicting the private payrolls component of the government&#8217;s employment report. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, this is true. On the flip side, the Government report has generally been considered, at least for the last eight or so years, to be a steaming pile of manure.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manure.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-19599\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manure-300x200.jpg?resize=300%2C200\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manure.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manure.jpg?resize=500%2C333&amp;ssl=1 500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Manure.jpg?w=600&amp;ssl=1 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>According to a Reuters survey of economists nonfarm payrolls likely increased by 190,000 jobs in February after rising by 227,000 in January. The unemployment rate is forecast edging down to 4.7 percent from 4.8 percent in January. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ok, we have our first fake statistic. The rate listed, 4.8 percent is what they refer to as the \u201cU2\u201d number. They count people on unemployment insurance. Once people exhaust their benefits, they are no longer counted. The more accurate number is called the \u201cU6\u201d number and that\u2019s been floating between 10-15 percent for the last 9 years. President Trump, who no doubt has seen the government numbers, fired of a broadside of tweets.<\/p>\n<p><b>@POTUS<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>U.S. private sector job creation surging with nearly 300K created last month. Much more than expected!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-4293622\/Trump-s-month-brings-massive-employment-boom.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Daily Mail<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>He also wrote Wednesday on Twitter about another similar measure, citing numbers from a new LinkedIn workforce report that showed strong job-adding numbers from January and February. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Those months &#8216;were the strongest consecutive months for hiring since August and September 2015,&#8217; the president tweeted, mirroring the report&#8217;s language. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Donald-Trump.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-20619\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Donald-Trump-300x214.jpg?resize=300%2C214\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Donald-Trump.jpg?resize=300%2C214&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Donald-Trump.jpg?resize=768%2C548&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Donald-Trump.jpg?resize=1024%2C731&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Donald-Trump.jpg?resize=500%2C357&amp;ssl=1 500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Donald-Trump.jpg?w=1180&amp;ssl=1 1180w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Compare this with the average reports during the Obama Administration and in many months, more jobs disappeared then were created, and in many cases, the new jobs were federal government jobs. President Trump\u2019s plan is to cut federal jobs, and do what he can to provide the environment for the private sector to create real, lasting jobs, not the usual non-military bureaucrat jobs that do nothing but put a drain on the economy.<\/p>\n<p>I am hopeful that I will find something soon, and this report does give me hope. If Donald Trump had lost the election and Felonia von Pantsuit had become the President, I think we would be facing a total economic collapse. Now to get rid of Obamacare and nuke some of these federal agencies from orbit.
