According to the Daily Mail<\/a>:<\/p>\n

A knife-wielding attacker was shot by armed police in the grounds of Parliament today after pedestrians were mowed down on Westminster Bridge. More than 10 people are said to have been hit by a car on Westminster Bridge after a vehicle described as a ‘4×4’ reportedly drove into pedestrians and cyclists. <\/b><\/p>\n

As to who did this?<\/p>\n

A ‘middle-aged Asian’ intruder then managed to break into the grounds of the Houses of Parliament and stabbed a police officer before he was shot, reports suggest.<\/b><\/p>\n

For our American readers, when the British refer to \u201cAsians\u201d, they aren\u2019t just talking about Pacific Rim countries such as Japan, China or the Philippines. They also include India, Pakistan and the Middle East as well. There are a number of repoerts by eye witnesses on Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites.<\/p>\n

Mr Sikorski, a senior fellow at Harvard’s Centre for European Studies, wrote: ‘A car on Westminster Bridge has just mowed down at least 5 people.’<\/strong><\/p>\n

People outside the palace could be seen running from the scene when the shots were heard. An eye witness said that a car was seen to mow down five people on Westminster Bridge. Police are then believed to have shot a man who tried to enter the Parliamentary Estate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Obviously, the \u201c72 Hour\u201d rule is now in effect. By this, I mean that any first reports will be found to be either incomplete or in error as more facts become available, generally after 72 hours. I hope that those hurt by this terrorist suffered only minor injuries and will all fully recover. As for the terrorist? Wrap him in pig skin and toss him into the Channel.<\/p>\n
