The Progressive Liberal Democrats, (Shut up! I know I\u2019m repeating myself), along with the RINO\u2019s and Never Trumpers immediately poo poo\u2019d the whole thing and then demanded Trump resign. Well, a funny thing happened on the way to the lynching. It seems that there was something to what President Trump said. Here are some of the details from Fox News<\/a>:<\/p>\n Members of the intelligence community “incidentally collected” communications from the Trump transition team during legal surveillance operations of foreign targets, a top Republican lawmaker said Wednesday afternoon. <\/b><\/p>\n House Intelligence Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said this produced “dozens” of reports which eventually unmasked several individuals\u2019 identities and were “widely disseminated.” <\/b><\/p>\n Now for a little background. Just prior to having his ass shown the door<\/i><\/span> leaving office, Barack Obama changed a few rules regarding the information that was gathered, allegedly under a legal warrant. Normally any \u201cincidental\u201d names are redacted so they won\u2019t be leaked or otherwise identified.<\/p>\n Obama changed this so that the names weren\u2019t redacted and also widened the number of agencies that could see the information, all but guaranteeing that the names of Trump\u2019s people would make it into the hands of the Mostly Stupid Media. This is where the information that led to Michael Flynn\u2019s resignation came from.<\/p>\n I won\u2019t bother going into the number of laws broken with this leak. that\u2019s for another day. In any case, the whole thing was to find out if Trump was bought and paid for by the Russians, much as Felonia von Pantsuit had been purchased.<\/p>\n Representative Nunes<\/b> said none of the reports he had read mentioned Russia or Russians and he was unsure whether the surveillance occurred at Trump Tower — as President Trump has suggested. Nunes also was unsure if then President-elect Trump was captured by the surveillance, which occurred in November, December and January. <\/b>\u201cI recently confirmed on numerous occasions the intelligence community incidentally collected intelligence,\u201d Nunes said. <\/b><\/p>\n Obviously, we can\u2019t know just how this surveillance was carried out. It may have gone as deep as intercepting calls to people\u2019s cell phones, or it might have been just seeing who talked to who and how long they were talking for. Since most people use cellphones these days, tracking and surveillance is far easier then it was 20 years ago. Meanwhile, the Democrats exploded, since yet another of their \u201cCunning plans\u201d appeared to detonate messily in their faces.<\/p>\n Democrats quickly criticized him for his comments.<\/b><\/p>\n Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, released a statement: <\/b><\/p>\n “This afternoon, Chairman Devin Nunes announced he had some form of intercepts revealing that lawfully gathered intelligence on foreign officials included information on U.S. Persons, potentially including those associated with President Trump or the President himself. If accurate, this information should have been shared with members of the committee, but it has not been. … The Chairman also shared this information with the White House before providing it to the committee, another profound irregularity, given that the matter is currently under investigation. I have expressed my grave concerns with the Chairman that a credible investigation cannot be conducted this way.” <\/b><\/p>\n So the Democrats are angry that no one warned them that they may have a Watergate situation on their hands?<\/p>\n The revelations could at least partially back up some allegations made by Trump earlier this month, when he tweeted that former President Barack Obama had “wiretapped” him, though top lawmakers have sharply disputed those claims. <\/b><\/p>\n Funny thing that. President Trump makes what appears to be an outrageous statement and lo and behold, it turns out that he was essentially right….again.<\/p>\n Nunes said he told House Speaker Paul Ryan earlier Wednesday about his findings. He later said he briefed Trump, calling some of the collection “inappropriate.”<\/b><\/p>\n So, he tells the Speaker of the House, who should know about things like this, and then he notifies the apparent victim, in this case, the President of the United States, that potentially illegal activities may have occurred. I\u2019m sure Representative Nunes would have gotten around to telling the Democrats…eventually.<\/p>\n Trump commented briefly afterward, saying he felt \u201csomewhat\u201d vindicated by Nunes\u2019 comments. <\/b><\/p>\n “There\u2019s a lot of questions that I think his statement raises, and that I hope we can get to the bottom of,\u201d White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer also said. <\/b><\/p>\n He said the NSA had been “very helpful” during the investigation, however, he was unsure if “the FBI is going to comply.” <\/b><\/p>\n Considering the past actions of the FBI under Director James Comey, I\u2019m not at all surprised at the idea that they won\u2019t comply with congressional oversight into the investigation. Personally, I think this is the time for Attorney General Sessions to involve himself, perhaps by appointing a special investigator or something. (Not a special prosecutor. The investigator can recommend charges if needed)<\/p>\n Nunes said the surveillance collection was “legally collected foreign intelligence under FISA incidental collection.” But Nunes said he was “alarmed” the intelligence “ended up in reporting channels and was widely disseminated.” It was previously reported that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was “unmasked” in this way, however, Nunes said “additional names” were unmasked as well. <\/b><\/p>\n And for that, as I mentioned earlier, we can thank Barack H. Obama.<\/p>\n He said he didn’t know what foreign intelligence value the surveillance had “and why people would need to know that about President-elect Trump and his transition team.” Nunes did not identify which foreign targets were under surveillance. <\/b><\/p>\n They were looking for Russians under Trump\u2019s bed. What they should have done was look in Felonia von Pantsuit\u2019s bathroom closet where she kept her unauthorized and well hacked email server. Unlike President Trump, she does have a record of selling out to the Russians.<\/p>\n Asked if he thought Trump was spied on, Nunes replied: “I’m not gonna get into legal definitions here, but clearly I have a concern.” <\/b><\/p>\n In other words, he\u2019s almost certain of it. If this is the case, then there will be records somewhere, both for the FISA warrant, (Requesting and issuing), as well as the actual data that was hoovered up, probably by the FBI. No wonder the Democrats are in a blind panic.<\/p>\n If the investigators find a paper trail, it could show that an illegal surveillance operation was conducted on the President-Elect of the United States on orders of the then current president.
