Good day all. There is a new bill that just passed the House of Representatives and is moving to the Senate. This bill has the Progressive Green Liberal Democrats, (Yes I know, repeating myself), in an uproar.<\/p>\n

What has the Progressives so upset is that this bill will, if passed in the Senate and signed into law by President Trump, force the Environmental Protection Agency to release all it\u2019s data used to determine what regulations they should invent. Here are the details from the (Dis)Associated (from the truth and reality), Press:<\/p>\n

House Republicans are taking aim at the Environmental Protection Agency, targeting the way officials use science to develop new regulations. A bill approved Wednesday by the GOP-controlled House would require that data used to support new regulations to protect human health and the environment be released to the public. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

OH MY GOD!!! The Horror! The EPA will be forced, FORCED, to show people what the science is that they allegedly use to come up with when they write their regulations. This is impossible! Don\u2019t these fools know that the EPA scientists and regulators are so much smarter than all those ignorant Republicans? And letting those dirty uneducated people outside of our agency see our data? They should just trust us. We know what\u2019s best for them after all.<\/p>\n

Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas, said “the days of ‘trust me’ science are over,” adding that the House bill would restore confidence in the EPA’s decision-making process. <\/b><\/p>\n

There is no way to restore confidence in the EPA. Actually there is one way. Shut the doors and burn it down. Of course, the Progressive Green Liberal Democrats, (Shaddup! I know!), are utterly opposed to letting \u201cThe people\u201d see how decisions are made.<\/p>\n

Connecticut Rep. Elizabeth Esty and other Democrats said the bill would cripple EPA’s ability to conduct scientific research based on confidential medical information and risks privacy violations by exposing sensitive patient data. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

That is an utter and total lie put out by an utter and total liar. The EPA should not have any patient data with names or anything that can identify who the patient is. I know first hand that there are services that can scrub identifying information from such data making it safe for review by people not generally covered by HIPPA. (I interviewed with a company that actually provides this sort of service)<\/p>\n

No, the real reason the Progressive Green Liberal Democrats hate this bill is that it will show that, instead of hard, careful scientific review, the regulators just made things up. This is what real transparency in government is. Being able to see what the data is that is used to deprive people of their property and livelihoods. The Senate should pass this bill as soon as possible, and if required, nuke the Democrats<\/i><\/span> filibuster as well. I have no doubt at all that President Trump will sign this bill as soon as it lands in his In Box.<\/p>\n
