Good day all. As I wrote previously<\/a>, United Airlines is trying to deal with the incredible mess they\u2019ve made with handling customers. Now American Airlines has climbed into the hole and started shoveling.<\/p>\n

Now and American Airlines flight attendant has been filmed threatening passengers and nearly starting a riot on a plane. Here are the details from the Daily Mail<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

An American Airlines flight attendant has been removed from duty after a shocking video emerged showing him challenging a passenger to a fight after allegedly hitting a woman in the head with a metal stroller during boarding. <\/b><\/p>\n

The upsetting footage, filmed before Flight 591 departed from San Francisco on Friday afternoon, shows the airline staff member goading a passenger and saying, ‘hit me’. <\/b><\/p>\n

From what I understand, that passenger was all set to pound this idiot into the cargo hold. Here\u2019s why.<\/p>\n

The clip was uploaded by passenger Surain Adyanthaya, who explained he started filming after the flight attendant ‘violently took a stroller from a lady with her baby on my flight, hitting her and just missing the baby’. <\/b><\/p>\n

Adyanthaya went on to explain: ‘They just involuntarily escorted the mother and her kids off the flight and let the flight attendant back on, who tried to fight other passengers. The mom asked for an apology and the AA official declined.’ <\/b><\/p>\n

I watched the video and the captain of the aircraft was less then useless. Once he understood the situation, he should have immediately ejected that crewman from the aircraft. Instead things just got worse.<\/p>\n

‘The flight attendant wrestled the stroller away from the woman, who was sobbing, holding one baby with the second baby in a car seat on the ground next to her,’ Morgan said. <\/b><\/p>\n

The woman can be seen sobbing and asks staff members to get her stroller back. Witnesses said the attendant struck her with the metal stroller as he was dragging it out of her hands. <\/b><\/p>\n

At this point, other passengers are heard expressing their disgust at the situation. <\/b><\/p>\n

One says he’s ‘not going to sit here and watch this…’ and then gets up and walks to the front of the plane to confront flight attendants. <\/b><\/p>\n

The man asks for the name of the employee who is alleged to have hit the crying woman. Another passenger, a woman, also confronts an American Airlines employee about the situation. <\/b><\/p>\n

‘You do that to me and I’ll knock you flat,’ the man says. <\/b><\/p>\n

The staff member responds by pointing his finger at the man tells him: ‘You stay out of this.’ <\/b><\/p>\n

The male passenger then steps closer to the employee, who challenges him to a fight. <\/b><\/p>\n

‘Try it,’ the employee tells the customer. ‘Hit me. You don’t know what the story is.’ <\/b><\/p>\n

‘You almost hurt a baby!’ the man replies. <\/b><\/p>\n

And things just spiraled from there. The woman was removed and the crewman who made the threats and nearly started a brawl was let back on the plane. Now with the video, American Airlines is in full blown damage control, and released this statement:<\/p>\n

The airline released a statement late Friday saying that it was ‘disappointed by these actions’ and had already started to investigate the incident.<\/b><\/p>\n

‘What we see on this video does not reflect our values or how we care for our customers,’ the company said in a statement. <\/b><\/p>\n

‘We are deeply sorry for the pain we have caused this passenger and her family and to any other customers affected by the incident. <\/b><\/p>\n

‘We are making sure all of her family’s needs are being met while she is in our care.’<\/b><\/p>\n

‘After electing to take another flight, we are taking special care of her and her family and upgrading them to first class for the remainder of their international trip.<\/b><\/p>\n

‘The actions of our team member captured here do not appear to reflect patience or empathy, two values necessary for customer care.<\/b><\/p>\n

‘In short, we are disappointed by these actions. The American team member has been removed from duty while we immediately investigate this incident.’<\/b><\/p>\n

From recent events, it looks like a new marketing campaign for airlines is being tried. I think it\u2019s titled \u201cThe beating of passengers will continue until until passenger satisfaction increases.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
