It\u2019s been about a week since president Trump announced he was pulling out of the Paris Climate treaty, aka the Paris Accord. The Europeans have rejected that idea out of hand. Here are the details <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/2017\/jun\/02\/european-leaders-vow-to-keep-fighting-global-warming-despite-us-withdrawal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">from The Guardian<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>The European Union has rejected Donald Trump\u2019s offer to renegotiate the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/paris-climate-agreement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Paris climate agreement<\/a> and pledged instead to bypass Washington to work with US business leaders and state governors to implement the historic accord\u2019s commitments.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Well, there are a few problems with that plan. First, the only governors who have announced that they\u2019re going to shaft their own constituents are mismanaging deep Blue states, such as California and New York. States such as Texas are going to laugh at them and the Eurotrash, all the way to the bank.<\/p>\n<p>As for the private sector, while they talk a good game, the fact of the matter is, most of them were expecting to get massive taxpayer subsidies. Now that those are gone, they\u2019re going to have to spend their own funds. I think, at least for the publicly traded companies, the shareholders might not be thrilled to see their dividends going to some Third World kleptocrat instead of their own bank accounts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Less than 24 hours after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/2017\/jun\/01\/donald-trump-confirms-us-will-quit-paris-climate-deal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">US president announced his decision<\/a> to withdraw from the 2015 agreement and strike a new, less ambitious deal with the rest of the world, Brussels declared its outright refusal to engage in such talks. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/snob_che_frame.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-16081\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/snob_che_frame-215x300.jpg?resize=215%2C300\" alt=\"\" width=\"215\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/snob_che_frame.jpg?resize=215%2C300&amp;ssl=1 215w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/snob_che_frame.jpg?w=268&amp;ssl=1 268w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 215px) 100vw, 215px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And here we see the snobs, globalists and either Eurotrash thinking that they actually are relevant in the United States. They might want to reconsider how they proceed. They are starting to come close to an \u201cAct of War.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>EU officials will instead cut out the White House to deal directly with the US states and major corporations, many of whom have already pledged to live by the terms forged in Paris.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>What private corporations do and how they spend their money is their business. If they put themselves at a disadvantage, they will run out of money or their management will be forcibly replaced at the next shareholders meeting.<\/p>\n<p>As for the governors?They need to be very careful or they\u2019re going to find themselves running afoul of the constitutionally mandated handling of foreign affairs. That is firmly in the hands of the Federal Government, not the states. If they try raping their taxpayers and funneling the money to the EU, they\u2019re going to find themselves out of office in very short order.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>In 2015, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/2015\/dec\/12\/paris-climate-deal-200-nations-sign-finish-fossil-fuel-era\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">nearly 200 countries agreed in Paris to curb greenhouse gas emissions<\/a> in order to prevent the runaway climate change that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/2016\/apr\/21\/study-reveals-greater-climate-impacts-of-2c-temperature-rise-heatwaves\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">would occur should temperatures spiral 2C<\/a> or more above the pre-industrial era. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>In a worst case scenario, the US withdrawal could add 0.3C to global temperatures by the end of the century, the UN World Meteorological Organisation said. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-20194\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit-300x223.jpg?resize=300%2C223\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit.jpg?resize=300%2C223&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit.jpg?w=500&amp;ssl=1 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Donald Tusk, the president of the European council, described Trump\u2019s withdrawal from the Paris pact as a big mistake, but said the fight against climate change would continue with or without the US. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201c<b>Strong transatlantic ties are far more important and far more durable than the latest unfortunate decisions of the new administration,\u201d Tusk said, as he addressed a joint press conference with the Chinese prime minister, Li Keqiang, at the end of an EU-China summit in Brussels. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201c<b>China and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/europe-news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Europe<\/a> have demonstrated solidarity with future generations and responsibility for the whole planet,\u201d Tusk added, in reference to a joint EU-China statement that vowed to \u201cstep up\u201d efforts on global warming, including the raising of $100bn a year by 2020 to help poorer countries cut emissions. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/stupid-you-are.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17503\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/stupid-you-are-300x240.jpg?resize=300%2C240\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/stupid-you-are.jpg?resize=300%2C240&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/stupid-you-are.jpg?resize=500%2C400&amp;ssl=1 500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/stupid-you-are.jpg?w=619&amp;ssl=1 619w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If Tusk thinks the Chinese are going to hand over $100 billion, the I want some of whatever he\u2019s smoking. I\u2019ve been to China. Walking out of the hotel and into the open air can be like walking into a brick wall, the air pollution is so bad. The Chinese government doesn\u2019t care. They\u2019re to busy building their economy and they aren\u2019t going to let some Eurotrash twit stop them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Miguel Arias Ca\u00f1ete, the European commissioner for climate action, said the global agreement would not be allowed to fall at the whim of a domestic election. \u201cThe Paris agreement is fit for purpose,\u201d the Spanish politician said, gripping a copy of the document that 195 countries have pledged to support. \u201cThe Paris agreement is here to stay. The 29 articles of this Paris agreement are not to be renegotiated. They are to be implemented. They\u2019re not interested in it. It gets in their way of instituting their Globalist, totalitarian agenda. They assumed that Felonia von Pantsuit was going to be the next president and knew that as long as she was getting her kickbacks, she would go along with whatever the EU wanted. President Trump\u2019s winning the election threw a major league monkey wrench into their plans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>He added: \u201cThe fight against climate change cannot depend on the result of elections in one country of another. When a country signs an international agreement it has to fulfil its commitments. There will be new administrations. I\u2019m pretty sure President Trump hasn\u2019t read the articles of this treaty. There is nothing to renegotiate here.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Actually he did read it, as did many in the United States Senate. There\u2019s a reason that The Great Mistake never submitted the treaty to the Senate. He knew that once they dug into it, the Senate would see it as an utter disaster for the United States economy and reject it outright. With that rejection, and the fact that the EU won\u2019t be able to suppress the United States Economy for their own benefit, European manufacturers are beginning to rethink their support for the Paris Accord.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>Germany\u2019s powerful car industry also claimed that Europe would need to reassess its environmental standards to remain competitive after the US withdrawal. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s to reassess? They weren\u2019t paying any attention to them in the first place. Just ask Volkswagon and their recent <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Volkswagen_emissions_scandal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">problems with emission standards<\/a>. Unfortunately, the German Government isn\u2019t going to let facts get in their way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>However, the German chancellor, Angela Merkel, showed no signs that her resolve was weakening on the deal, insisting that Trump \u201ccan\u2019t and won\u2019t stop all those of us who feel obliged to protect the planet\u201d. She added the move by the US was \u201cextremely regrettable and that\u2019s putting it very mildly\u201d. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Merkel has essentially destroyed Germany. I\u2019m not up on the elections over there, and I certainly don\u2019t claim to understand their processes, but I would be surprised, (Unpleasantly), if Merkel is still Chancellor in 2 years. However, this is Europe and the Europeans are noted for being, if nothing else, suicidally stupid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b>India, despite facing the challenge of meeting the energy needs of millions of people who do not have electricity, firmly stood by the Paris agreement. The energy minister, Piyush Goyal, said: \u201cIndia\u2019s resolve to take up the leadership of saving the planet from climate change while others abrogate their leadership.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n<p>I suspect they are looking at the billions of Euro\u2019s that will be flowing into India from the European taxpayers.
