To refresh your memories, when the NSA or other intelligence services are lawfully spying on foreign nationals, occasionally they pick up communications from an American citizen. Since this was done without a warrant, the comments on who that person or persons is, is blacked out. This is to protect them from unlawful surveillance and the obvious violations of their constitutional rights. There is a very careful procedure when there is a need to \u201cUnmask\u201d the American citizen.<\/p>\n
This is where the problems for the Democrats arose. The Obama Regime, notorious for ignoring the rule of law, apparently started spying on the Trump transition team. The then National Security Adviser, and well known liar, Susan Rice, decided to release the \u201cUnmasked\u201d documents and pass them to pretty much everyone. Now she is being looked at by Congress and could be in serious legal jeopardy. Her response to all this? Blame it all on racism and sexism. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Susan Rice, the Obama national security adviser under fire over her alleged involvement in the \u201cunmasking\u201d of Trump associates during the 2016 presidential election, suggested in a fresh interview that race and gender might be playing a role in the scrutiny she\u2019s faced. <\/b><\/p>\n In an interview with journalist Michael Tomasky for New York Magazine<\/a>, Rice reportedly questioned the criticism she\u2019s faced dating back to the Benghazi controversy. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cWhy me? Why not Jay Carney, for example, who was then our press secretary, who stood up more?\u201d she asked. <\/b><\/p>\n Well, how about this? Carney didn\u2019t have access to those documents and you did. Furthermore, when the spying on Donald Trump\u2019s transition team took place, Carney wasn\u2019t even working for the regime any longer.<\/p>\n Tomasky noted in the piece that Carney \u201cisn\u2019t an African-American woman, of course\u201d and apparently asked Rice whether that is the key factor. Rice, in response, left the door open: <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know\u2026 I do not leap to the simple explanation that it\u2019s only about race and gender. I\u2019m trying to keep my theories to myself until I\u2019m ready to come out with them. It\u2019s not because I don\u2019t have any.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n Allow me to answer you. It has nothing to do with your skin tone or your gender. It has everything to do with you being a liar.<\/p>\n But Rice mentioned other prominent female figures \u2013 like Hillary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice \u2013 who faced \u201cad hominem\u201d attacks, suggesting a correlation. <\/b><\/p>\n Comparing Condoleezza Rice to Hillary Clinton is like comparing Pol Pot to Mother Theresa. Oh, just so you know, I do not equate Hillary Clinton, aka Felonia von Pantsuit, with Mother Theresa.<\/p>\n Asked about the comments, a Republican Capitol Hill source pushed back. \u201cThis is screaming out for attention\u2026 She\u2019s saying I don\u2019t know why they all started picking on me to begin with.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Perhaps she truly doesn\u2019t. She isn\u2019t the sharpest knife in the drawer after all. I have a feeling she couldn\u2019t spell Ethics on a bet.<\/p>\n As to the suggestion of race and gender being a factor, the source countered, then \u201cwhy would there be a subpoena for a white male?\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n To provide some cover for the racist, sexist attack on on Susan Rice? You know that will be the response from the Progressive Liberal Democrats.<\/p>\n That was a reference to the fact that Rice is not the only focus of the congressional probe into unmasking. Investigators have issued subpoenas to three different agencies: NSA, CIA and FBI. <\/b><\/p>\n Those subpoenas have asked for unmasking information related to three individuals: former CIA Director John Brennan, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power, and Rice. <\/b><\/p>\n And the information coming out is that Brennan is into this up to his eyeballs. I\u2019m rather surprised that Samantha Powers is included. As I understand it, she shouldn\u2019t have access to any part of these files in the first place, masked or unmasked. Well, that\u2019s what the investigation is for. Getting the goods on the Communist, (Brennan), the anti-Semite, (Powers), and the liar. (Rice)<\/p>\n She\u2019s not the only focus of congressional frustration, either. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., had a tense exchange with a top intelligence community lawyer at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday where he complained he still doesn\u2019t have an answer on whether his communications have been monitored. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cAm I ever gonna get [the response] in my lifetime?\u201d he asked. <\/b><\/p>\n Oh I wouldn\u2019t doubt he was monitored, but for what purpose? His discussions revolve around screwing over the Tea Party and where the best fabric stores are in Washington D.C.<\/p>\n Rice told Judy Woodruff on PBS on March 22 that she \u201cknew nothing\u201d about the unmasking of Trump associates. <\/b><\/p>\n But weeks later on MSNBC, she admitted she sometimes sought out the identities of Trump associates who communicated with foreigners, a request known as \u201cunmasking\u201d in the intelligence community.<\/b><\/p>\n But \u201cI leaked nothing to nobody,\u201d Rice told MSNBC. <\/b><\/p>\n I do believe that Al Capone may have used a version of that phrase during a Grand Jury hearing. It didn\u2019t work out to well for him either. Susan Rice is in big trouble and she knows it. Obama shipped all the documents on the unmasking to his \u201cLibrary\u201d to keep them out of the hands of organizations such as Judicial Watch.<\/p>\n However, those documents will have to be give to Congress, the courts, federal investigators or the White House if they are subpoenaed, or in the case of the White House, if President Trump orders their return. I\u2019m of the opinion that they should be seized as soon as possible.
