One such person is Lawrence \u201cLarry\u201d Lessig<\/a>. Currently, he is the Director of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University. He is also utterly convinced that Felonia von Pantsuit should be the President. He recently wrote a post on Medium.com<\/b><\/a> laying out how, even now, Felonia could become President. Reading through it, well, there is a fine line between sanity and insanity. Mr. Lessig jumped into a Bugatti Veyron<\/a> and raced across that line and maximum speed. Here\u2019s what he wrote<\/a>:<\/p>\n There\u2019s a bunch of chatter about imminent action by the special prosecutor. Some of that chatter suggests evidence of a real tie with Russia during the election. By \u201creal tie\u201d I mean more than that the Russians tried to help. A \u201creal tie\u201d would be real evidence of a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia. <\/b><\/p>\n That chatter is primarily in the faculty lounge at Harvard. The only evidence of late is a report that came out today that the FBI was investigating a bribery plot by the Russians in 2009 regarding the purchase of Uranium mines in the United States. These are the same mines that Felonia approved the sale of after she was bribed<\/i><\/span> donations to the Clinton Foundation were made.<\/p>\n I don\u2019t know if I believe it. <\/b><\/p>\n Oh Hell yes you do.<\/p>\n I certainly haven\u2019t seen clear evidence of it. <\/b><\/p>\n Because there is none.<\/p>\n And I don\u2019t think it\u2019s appropriate to speculate about whether there is clear evidence of it or not.<\/b><\/p>\n So if you don\u2019t think it\u2019s appropriate, why did you write this post?<\/p>\n But I get tons of emails from people asking, \u201cwhat if there was a conspiracy?\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n The answer should be \u201cSeek professional help and stay on your meds.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s a fair question. We ought to have a clear answer.<\/b><\/p>\n Ladies and Gentlemen, We\u2019re OFF!! Lessig lays out the usual drivel of how if this is true then Trump must resign. Then he goes right off the deep end.<\/p>\n The first step is obvious. Trump should resign or, if he doesn\u2019t, he should be impeached. <\/b><\/p>\n He doesn\u2019t stop there.<\/p>\n The second step should be obvious as well: Pence should resign or, if he doesn\u2019t, he should be impeached. <\/b><\/p>\n And why should Vice President Pence resign or be impeached?<\/p>\n He benefited from the criminal (and treasonous) conspiracy just as much as Trump. He shouldn\u2019t benefit even more by becoming the residual President. <\/b><\/p>\n This clown is teaching future Under the law as it is, this leaves Paul Ryan as President. And the hard moral question that Ryan would then face is whether he should remain as President. <\/b><\/p>\n No stupid, it isn\u2019t the law, it is the Constitution. Can you say that word? Con..Sti…Tu..Shun! The Speaker of the House is third in line and then the President pro tempore of the Senate. It\u2019s all laid out in the 25th<\/sup> Amendment. You should try reading it sometime.<\/p>\n By hypothesis, we\u2019re assuming the office was effectively stolen from the legitimate winner by a criminal and treasonous act of the (previous) leader of Ryan\u2019s own party. <\/b><\/p>\n Here it comes.<\/p>\n There\u2019s no mechanism in American law for a new election. Nor is there a mechanism for correcting the criminal results of the previous election. <\/b><\/p>\n So the results you don\u2019t like are now criminal? Funny, I didn\u2019t try that reasoning when Der Fubar was elected and then reelected. As for criminality, there are strong indications of serious voter fraud, that might just reverse your Sainted Felonia\u2019s \u201cPopular Vote Win.\u201d<\/p>\n The Electoral College was meant to be the check, but most in the chatterati resisted the idea of the Electoral College exercising a substantive check, and insisted that its vote must be automatic. <\/b><\/p>\n There was a reason for this. President Trump carried the required number of states to win the Electoral College vote. If the electors were to take that away and give it to Felonia, the way you and the rest of the Delusional Party wanted, there would have been an almost instant civil war. Every single elector who took the win away from Trump and gave it to Felonia would have been dead within a week.<\/p>\n So, constitutionally, we\u2019ve passed the moment when this crime could have been constitutionally corrected. And no court is going to step in and do anything about it now, regardless of what the evidence now proves. <\/b><\/p>\n Unlike you, they do study the Constitution, (Well most of them do. The Obama Judges are notorious for ignoring that document), and they know that there is no recourse other then Impeachment. Getting back to Lessig\u2019s cunning plan to put Felonia into the Oval office, here\u2019s where it gets fun, for some people\u2019s idea of fun that is.<\/p>\n President Ryan would have the right to nominate a Vice-President. That right is specified in the 25th Amendment<\/a>. That nominee then becomes Vice-President once confirmed by a majority of both houses. That\u2019s how Gerald Ford became Vice President. And that\u2019s how he eventually became President without ever running for that office. <\/b><\/p>\n Well what do you know? You did read the Constitution and the 25th<\/sup> Amendment. Pity you missed the part on what Treason actually is. So, what would Lessig have \u201cPresident Ryan\u201d, (Oh that\u2019s a laugh right there.
