<\/p>\nGood day all. It seems that regulators in the United Kingdom have some issues with Fox News\u2019s Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity. They think that they aren\u2019t \u201cBalanced\u201d in their views.<\/p>\n

Now I watch Tucker Carlson on occasion, and now that Hannity is in a new time slot, I occasionally watch him as well. I never for one minute thought that they were impartial. That isn\u2019t their job. They have an opinion, and they bring people on that either agree or disagree and then debate them. Now it seems that these regulators, who seem to think that the 1st<\/sup> Amendment doesn\u2019t apply in the United States, should do something about these two. Here are the details from CNN<\/a>:<\/p>\n The British media regulator Ofcom has declared some segments from Fox News hosts Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson in breach of the country’s media impartiality rules.<\/b><\/p>\n And we care about this, why?<\/p>\n Though parent company 21st Century Fox pulled Fox News from the U.K. in August, Ofcom is obliged to reply to complaints it receives. The rulings, released on Monday, are based off complaints Ofcom received after a segment on Hannity’s show about President Donald Trump’s executive order restricting travel from seven majority-Muslim countries and a segment on Carlson’s show about the reaction of U.K. authorities to the Manchester terrorist attack on May 22 <\/b><\/p>\n Yeah, so? I didn\u2019t see the segments, but frankly, I can hazard a guess as to what they said. Britain is slowly circling the drain along with the rest of Europe and has put their citizens into actual danger due to their policies of appeasing Islamic thugs. They\u2019ve even gone so far as to allow British teenage girls to be pimped out by Muslims, and gone after parents and the victims when they brought complaints to the authorities.<\/p>\n Beyond the official censure, Ofcom isn’t issuing a fine of any sort to Fox, saying it is simply following through with its official compliance procedure after investigating complaints it receives. Nonetheless, the censures come as parent company 21st Century Fox is being investigated by another U.K. media regulator, the Competitions and Markets Authority, as it tries to complete a $15 billion takeover of the part of U.K. telecommunications and broadcasting company Sky plc it doesn’t already own. The CMA is in the middle of a six month investigation into how the takeover will affect the media market in the U.K. and whether the company would maintain broadcasting standards. <\/b><\/p>\n I see what\u2019s happening. They are looking for the typical Eurotrash \u201cPay us or else\u201d extortion racket with companies trying to grow. Typical Eurotrash socialism and Fascism.<\/p>\n Ofcom said Hannity’s opening monologue on Jan. 31 about Trump’s executive order did not appropriately consider alternative viewpoints. <\/b><\/p>\n So what? Who cares what you think. We used to have the \u201cFairness\u201d Doctrine here and it was great at suppressing viewpoints that didn\u2019t tow the government line. Once President Reagan tossed it, Broadcast radio exploded. People who had been suppressed were suddenly able to put out their point of view. This gave rise to people like Hannity, Carlson and Rush Limbaugh. As for other viewpoints? They have their own places to go, although they are often invited onto the Carlson and Hannity shows for the comic relief their idiotic views generate.<\/p>\n Though Ofcom acknowledged that viewers are likely aware that Fox is a U.S. based channel aimed at a U.S. audience, and that Hannity is likely to address issues from a perspective that is more supportive of the Republican party, it found that the segment was in violation of three of its rules on impartiality. <\/b><\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/cf\/14\/de\/cf14dea9b6dbcb2fbc4d8bf61bfde4d3.jpg?resize=321%2C241&ssl=1\")
