With the house and senate in the hands of the Republican party, and President Trump solidly behind the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment, people are a lot less worried about the totalitarian Democrats seizing their guns. Other things are also occurring around the nation primarily regarding the carrying of firearms. Most states are now either \u201cConstitutional Carry\u201d, \u201cShall Issue\u201d, \u201cMay Issue\u201d or \u201cThe 2nd<\/sup> Amendment is an outdated amendment and will be ignored\u201d.<\/p>\n The problem has arisen with regards to the states controlled by the Progressive Totalitarian Democrats. They love to arrest people who have CCW permits, (Concealed Carry Weapon), in their home states and think that means they can carry in other states. This has led to a number of honest, law abiding citizens being arrested and put on trial for exercising their constitutional right to keep and bear arms.<\/p>\n Most states that are Shall or May issue states usually have some sort of reciprocity agreements with other states that issue concealed carry permits. However, most of the Moonbat run states refuse to recognize the permits of non-Moonbat states. This has led to a call for Congress to pass a national CCW reciprocity law similar to how drivers licenses are handled. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Shaneen Allen, a Philadelphia mother of two, was arrested during a traffic stop three years ago after she crossed from Pennsylvania into New Jersey with a loaded.380-caliber Bersa Thunder handgun — unaware that her concealed-carry gun permit in her home state was not transferable to another. <\/b>Allen was eventually pardoned by the New Jersey governor after legal wrangling, but her case stirred a national debate over concealed-carry gun permits.<\/b><\/p>\n It took that fat slob governor long enough to issue the pardon too. Honestly, Ms. Allen should never have been charged for simply exercising her right to protect herself and her children from the doers of evil. Now Congress is finally taking action.<\/p>\n That debate has come to a head. On Wednesday the House of Representatives passed a bill, the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, that would oblige every state to recognize a concealed-carry gun permit issued by any other state. <\/b><\/p>\n So what does \u201creciprocity\u201d mean? It means that anyone with a valid concealed-carry gun permit in one state may travel to any other state with the permitted weapon and not worry about being arrested or fined for carrying that concealed weapon as Allen was. In other words, each state must reciprocate the approval of a permit that any other state has issued. <\/b><\/p>\n Now for some due diligence. New Hampshire went to a Constitutional Carry law early this year, meaning that as long as you have not lost your rights to keep and bear arms, you don\u2019t need to get a CCW permit. I have one. With the chance that this bill will be signed into law by President Trump, I intend to renew it so I can go into Massachusetts and not have to worry about their desire to strip away my rights and throw me in jail.<\/p>\n Reciprocity does not affect any specific state\u2019s laws about carrying a concealed weapon. Some states have relatively restrictive permitting procedures. New York state, for example, has one of the most rigorous standards for anyone seeking a concealed-carry gun permit. The process, if successful — and success is far from guaranteed \u2013 entails completing a large amount of paperwork, months of waiting and detailed inquiries into applicants\u2019 history and personal lives. The bill that just passed does not require New York to change or stop enforcing its existing laws. The state can continue to enforce relatively restrictive standards for anyone seeking, within the state of New York, a concealed-carry gun permit. <\/b><\/p>\n When it comes to New York and New Jersey, basically forget about even getting a gun, let alone being able to carry it. Those two states refuse to acknowledge the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment even exists.<\/p>\n There are at least seven states whose laws about concealed carry are relatively strict. Besides New York, those states are Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. The remaining 43 states generally take a somewhat less restrictive approach to applications for a concealed-carry gun permit. <\/b><\/p>\n I like the phrase \u201cSomewhat less restrictive.\u201d In the Northeast, New Hampshire and Vermont are constitutional carry. New Hampshire is also a \u201cStand your ground\u201d state, although I have never heard of anyone using that as a defense.<\/p>\n Many people, as I mentioned earlier, have run afoul of the Totalitarians of the Blue States and are facing criminal charges. For instance:<\/p>\n Elizabeth Elderli never left her Houston home unarmed. So, when the 31-year-old former U.S. Marine visited Manhattan’s September 11 Memorial in August 2015, two guns were in her backpack when she saw a “no firearms” sign at the security checkpoint. <\/b><\/p>\n Elderli told a police officer about the loaded 9 mm and .380-caliber semiautomatic pistols — both covered by her Texas-issued concealed-carry weapons permit, which she believed was valid in New York, her attorney said at the time.<\/b><\/p>\n Unfortunately, New York doesn\u2019t recognize any other state\u2019s CCW\u2019s. (At least the last time I looked, they didn\u2019t)<\/p>\n Elderli was arrested in the incident, charged with felony possession of a weapon and left facing 3 \u00bd to 15 years in prison. <\/b><\/p>\n And the problem we currently have with situations like this are judges who are to stupid to understand what the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment says and means. Progressive Liberal judges outright hate the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment. Progressive Liberals in general hate the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment. Why? Because, deep down, they do understand why it exists.<\/p>\n The founders of this nation knew that Government\u2019s tendency was to take on powers they weren\u2019t entitled to. The 2nd<\/sup> Amendment was designed to provide the American People with the means to protect themselves from criminals, Indian attacks, (A real thing back then), foreign invaders, and finally, from their own government.<\/p>\n Mark Bederow, who has handled similar cases, told Fox News that he hopes the bill — whether it passes or not — will force authorities in New York to rethink the criminal prosecution of gun owners like Elderli who make an “honest mistake.”<\/b><\/p>\n “If it doesn’t go through, I hope the Act\u2019s support will lead New York prosecutors to re-evaluate the usefulness of criminally prosecuting honest, law-abiding firearms owners who accidentally run afoul of New York\u2019s stringent weapons laws,” Bederow said. <\/b><\/p>\n You\u2019re joking right? The goal of the Progressive Liberal Democrats is the removal of firearms from private hands. Why? So they can institute the totalitarian state they\u2019ve been wanting since Woodrow Wilson was president.<\/p>\n For reasons such as these, the House-passed reciprocity bill has been hailed by supporters — including President Donald Trump — as a common sense measure and considered a top legislative priority for the National Rifle Association. <\/b><\/p>\n Now there\u2019s something I like. Common Sense Measure. Usually when that phrase is used, it\u2019s by the Progressive Liberal Democrats when they are praising some judge\u2019s decision to strip away people\u2019s rights. Let\u2019s see how they like \u201cCommon sense measures\u201d being shoved down their throats for a change.<\/p>\n But its critics raise serious concerns. House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi has accused Republicans of doing the bidding of the National Rifle Association. Two months after two of the deadliest shootings in U.S. history, Republicans were “brazenly moving to hand the NRA the biggest item on its Christmas wish list,” said Pelosi, D-Calif. <\/b><\/p>\n No, they are doing the bidding of millions of Americans who believe in the Constitution and the rule of law. Something you…don\u2019t.<\/p>\n Before Wednesday\u2019s vote, critics took to Twitter blasting the bill — including Mark Kelly, the husband of former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who was shot in the head but survived during an attempted assassination in 2011.<\/b><\/p>\n https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=x_8YTa_-hZw<\/p>\n How about as little honesty here? The lunatic who shot Giffords was, to put it bluntly, nuts. However, in true Progressive Liberal thinking, she, well whoever is actually doing the posting, is blaming the group for the actions of the individual. Progressive Liberal Democrats are nothing if not big on \u201cCollective Guilt.\u201d<\/p>\n The bill comes as the latest polling shows the majority of Americans support stricter gun laws in the wake of several mass shootings, including America’s deadliest mass-shooting to date in Las Vegas on October 1. A Gallup poll released in November<\/a> found that a majority of Americans for the first time since Gallup asked in 2000 now favor passing new gun laws. <\/b><\/p>\n Actually, no we don\u2019t. What we do want is enforcement of laws on the books and making sure guns are not allowed into the hands of those who have lost their rights after due process in a court of law. We also want to figure out a way to keep the crazies from having them as well. (That is actually very difficult to do.
