Good day all. Tuesday, January 30th<\/sup>, three things are going to happen. I will be having some dental work done, President Trump will be making his State of the Union address, and Mad Maxine Waters will be making a complete fool of herself…again.<\/p>\n

Mad Maxine is one of the nuttier members of the California delegation to the House of Representatives. Granted, most of them, at least on the Democrat side, are not noted for their sanity, but Mad Maxine is in a class of her own in fruitcakiness. When President Trump gives his State of the Union address, Mad Maxine won\u2019t be there. She will be giving her own address on Comedy Central<\/i><\/span> BET instead. Here are some of the details from Buzzfeed<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

One of President Donald Trump\u2019s fiercest critics on Capitol Hill will address the country just after next Tuesday\u2019s State of the Union. <\/b><\/p>\n

Rep. Maxine Waters, a California Democrat, will speak at the top of a BET News special after Trump delivers the State of the Union, a BET spokesperson told BuzzFeed News. The program, \u201cAngela Rye\u2019s State of the Union,\u201d is part of a broader partnership announced just days ago between the network and the Democratic strategist and political commentator. Rye will executive produce news programs with a sharp focus on issues facing black Americans. The programs will run quarterly, BET said in a release. <\/b><\/p>\n

So, BET is now a full member of the Democrat Propaganda Service, (DPS)? Good to know. Of course, I don\u2019t watch it and haven\u2019t even bothered to add it to my channel lineup. I don\u2019t see any reason to do so at this time.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson said activists and some elected officials will analyze Trump\u2019s first year in office on the program, and will talk about “building black politics and the value of engagement across today\u2019s socio-political landscape.” A Democratic source familiar with the production on Friday night told BuzzFeed News that it wasn’t immediately clear if the program would air on Tuesday or Wednesday night.<\/b><\/p>\n

So this will be, essentially, a remake of Fantasy Island<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Trump has recently taken to highlighting how well he believes black Americans are doing under his presidency, tweeting<\/a> earlier this month that he was “so happy” that black joblessness was plummeting.<\/b><\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said the rate had fallen below 7%, but analysts disagree over how much credit, if any, Trump deserves for that drop. Black lawmakers certainly don\u2019t think he deserves that credit, and some plan to let him know that Tuesday by boycotting<\/a> his speech.<\/b><\/p>\n

And who are these analysts anyway? Probably the same ones who still believe that Obama saved the country and that Felonia von Pantsuit is the smartest person in history. As for boycotting the address? Who cares?<\/p>\n

In some corners of Democratic politics, Waters was considered a potential dark horse to deliver the official Democratic rebuttal to the State of the Union. <\/b><\/p>\n

Dark horse? That\u2019s RACIST!!<\/p>\n

Waters, who is the ranking member of the Financial Services Committee, has reinvented her national profile and emerged as one of the leading faces of the anti-Trump movement \u2014 especially on the internet<\/a> \u2014 and has called for Trump\u2019s impeachment, stating repeatedly that she believes special counsel Robert Mueller\u2019s investigation will find that Trump colluded with Russia in its meddling of the 2016 election. <\/b><\/p>\n
