Good day all. it\u2019s been a while since I did a movie review, primarily do to not seeing any new movies. Last week I finally got around to seeing the new Marvel film, Black Panther.<\/p>\n

I hesitated to see the movie after reading about all the political stuff in the script. I had a gift card, so since I wasn\u2019t paying for it, I decided to see it.<\/p>\n

First, I don\u2019t know anything about the Marvel comic books on the character, so I didn\u2019t have any idea of how Marvel\u2019s editors and writers have things laid out. Saying that, the movie was colorful, the CGI was good and the characters weren\u2019t bad. However, the politics and overt racism was rather obvious. To put it bluntly, the 1960\u2019s called and they want their politics back.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Would I have spent my own money on this film? No, I wouldn\u2019t have. I would have waited until it hit HBO or something. I also don\u2019t intend to buy the DVD either\/ However, this is just an origin story, and I expect things to be a bit different when the Black Panther takes his place alongside the rest of the Marvel characters.<\/p>\n
