Good day all. One criteria the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency uses to remove someone from the United States is actual criminal activity. This covers lawful resident aliens who are convicted of felonies.<\/p>\n

Now, there may be some questions regarding removing long term resident aliens via this method, particularly those who served in the United States military, and I am open to discussing this. This criteria is also used to prioritize which of the millions of illegal aliens ICE goes after first.<\/p>\n

However, we have Kalifornistan and the Moonbat in Chief, Governor Jerry \u201cMoonbeam\u201d Brown and his desire to wreck the United States. He has come up with the brilliant idea that if he pardons criminals, they won\u2019t be deported. Here are some of the details from the Sacramento Bee<\/b>:<\/p>\n

California Gov. Jerry Brown on Friday pardoned five ex-convicts facing deportation, including two whose families fled the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia four decades ago. The pardons don’t automatically stop deportation proceedings, but eliminate the state convictions federal authorities based their deportation decisions on. That gives the men’s lawyers strong legal arguments before immigration judges to try to prevent the deportations. <\/b><\/p>\n

“The pardon does provide enormous benefit to immigrants facing deportation,” said Anoop Prasad, an immigration staff attorney at Asian Law Caucus. <\/b><\/p>\n

Yeah, it won\u2019t help that much, especially since it\u2019s such a blatant political move by Moonbeam. However, as I mentioned before, it should be done on a case by case basis and since I don\u2019t yet know what they were convicted of in the first place, I will keep an open mind.<\/p>\n

Those pardoned Friday included Sokha Chhan and Phann Pheach, both of whom face deportation to Cambodia, a country ruled in the 1970s by the genocidal Khmer Rouge. Chhan was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor domestic violence in 2002 and served 364 days in jail. <\/b><\/p>\n

Yeah, that one is something I would consider \u201ciffy\u201d when it comes to revocation and deportation. However, I do wonder why they haven\u2019t become United States citizens by now. I would also look into their behavior since their release. Have they been good productive citizens?<\/p>\n

Pheach was convicted of possessing drugs and obstructing a police officer in 2005 and served six months in jail. His wife said he is in federal custody. <\/b><\/p>\n

That one is causing me to lean to \u201cDon\u2019t let the door hit you on the way out.\u201d Again, I need to know more.<\/p>\n

Also pardoned was Daniel Maher, who was convicted in 1995 of kidnapping, robbery and being a felon in possession of a firearm and served five years in prison. Maher is facing deportation to China. <\/b><\/p>\n

This one is simple. Put him on a plane tomorrow and kick his ass out of the country. He should have been deported the day he completed his sentence. The others mentioned in the story were convicted of misdemeanors. Maher was convicted of felonies and did serious time.<\/p>\n

The other problem we have is Governor Moonbeam. While those convicted of a misdemeanor might be worthwhile, Moonbeam\u2019s pardoning of an outright criminal for no other reason but to keep his crooked ass in the country shows where he stands, and it is not with the citizens of America. While it is possible that the first four mentioned might be worthy, that last one certainly is not. Kidnapping? A felon in possession of a firearm? That means he was at least a two time loser.<\/p>\n

This is yet another political shot in the war between The People\u2019s Progressive Democratic Republik Kalifornistan and the United States of America. At the rate things are going, it won\u2019t be to long before Moonbeam and the rest of the Progressives find out how things work in the Real World…much like the Confederate States of America did.<\/p>\n
