For decades the Progressive liberal Democrats have been trying to strip Americans of their right to keep and bear arms. Now we have one in Congress who has flat out demanded that guns be confiscated.<\/p>\n

This came from one of the \u201cRepresentatives\u201d from the People\u2019s Democratic Republic of Kalifornistan, so it really doesn\u2019t come as any surprise. Kalifornistan has all but announced it will no longer follow the United States Constitution. In this case, we have one Eric Swalwell outright demanding that people be forced to give up their semi-automatic firearms or else. Here are the details from NBC News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

A Democratic congressman has proposed outlawing \u201cmilitary-style semiautomatic assault weapons\u201d and forcing existing owners to sell their weapons or face prosecution, a major departure from prior gun control proposals that typically exempt existing firearms<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

In a USA Today op-ed<\/a> entitled \u201cBan assault weapons, buy them back, go after resisters,\u201d Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., argued Thursday that prior proposals to ban assault weapons \u201cwould leave millions of assault weapons in our communities for decades to come.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

I read the blather from this Crypto-Fascist CommuNazi, (Hey! I\u2019ve coined a new word!!), and I think it\u2019s safe to say he should never have been allowed to graduate from Law school. Typical of all the Progressive Liberal Crypto-Fascist CommuNazis, the Constitution means absolutely nothing to them. They fail to understand that the Founders wrote the Constitution for one purpose. To RESTRICT the power and authority of the government. The 2nd<\/sup> Amendment was written to provide the American People with the tools to overthrow the government if it was needed.<\/p>\n

In the past, Democrats and gun safety groups have carefully resisted proposals that could be interpreted as \u201cgun confiscation,\u201d a concept gun rights groups have often invoked as part of a slippery slope argument against more modest proposals like universal background checks. <\/b><\/p>\n

They resisted them for a very simple reason. Anything that blatant would be interpreted as an assault on the rights of Americans, which it would be. Salwell, being a CommuNazi, jumps in with both feet.<\/p>\n

Swalwell addressed these arguments directly, saying he and other Democrats had been too deferential to Second Amendment activists and should follow the lead of teenage survivors of the Parkland shooting who have been more strident. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThere’s something new and different about the surviving Parkland high schoolers\u2019 demands,\u201d he wrote. \u201cThey dismiss the moral equivalence we\u2019ve made for far too long regarding the Second Amendment. I’ve been guilty of it myself, telling constituents and reporters that ‘we can protect the Second Amendment and protect lives.\u2019\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Those teenagers went through a horrible situation, made far worse by the morons in government that have turned schools into nothing less then Target Rich Environments with no way for the adults inside to protect their charges. Relying on the police was shown to be a recipe for complete failure as the Browards of the County cowered outside and let the lunatic continue on with his plan for murder and mayhem.<\/p>\n

Instead, he writes, \u201cthe right to live is supreme over any other.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

According to Swalwell, his policy is modeled on Australia\u2019s mandatory gun buyback laws, which were instituted under a conservative government after a gunman killed 35 people at a popular tourist site in 1996. Supporters credit the campaign with a broad reduction in gun violence and the country hasn\u2019t suffered a similar mass shooting in the years since. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cAustralia got it right,\u201d Swalwell wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n

So move there you CommuNazi scum. We are NOT Australians, and if you would bother to actually look at what\u2019s happening there, the criminals are now starting to show up with Machine guns. There is also the small detail that Australia has nothing comparable to the American 2nd<\/sup> Amendment. (That actually makes us rather unique in the world, another thing the collectives CommuNazi\u2019s despise about America)<\/p>\n

While politicians and activists, including President Barack Obama, have cited Australia\u2019s success in curbing gun violence as an inspiration, <\/b>almost no prominent figures have proposed instituting similar laws <\/b><\/a>up to this point. <\/b><\/p>\n

They haven\u2019t for two reasons. One, they are unconstitutional and two, it would get a lot of Progressives killed.<\/p>\n

Some gun safety groups, such as the Giffords Law Center, have suggested tougher background checks and reporting requirements on existing assault weapons after a new manufacturing ban \u2014 but they have not called for owners to sell or destroy them. Many policy experts supportive of stricter gun laws have warned a mass gun confiscation policy would be difficult to enforce given limited federal resources and the widespread popularity of the affected rifles. <\/b><\/p>\n

There is another reason that the author of the NBC News story neglected to mention. Flat out armed resistance rapidly moving to civil war. If this were to actually pass, and the courts upheld it, as far as the gun owners in America would be concerned, the Constitutional rights would be gone and there would be no other alternative but to open the 4th<\/sup> box of liberty.<\/p>\n

Of course you would get the usual CommuNazi garbage about the U.S. Military, drones and fighting tanks with rifles. They refuse to consider or even understand that most of the military would flat out refuse to move against their own families or neighbors. Even if they did, you don\u2019t fight tanks with rifles. You destroy their logistics trains. Tanks are thirsty beasts, and they generally don\u2019t move without gas, spare parts or mechanics to fix them. Those would be the targets hit by the \u201cRebels,\u201d not the actual armor.<\/p>\n

As for law enforcement? It would be the same problem writ far larger. Once they started their raids, they would quickly come under attack themselves. Not only would the police and federal agents be hit, their families would also be targeted. (Hey, civil wars are very brutal. Actually, they should be called \u201cUncivil\u201d wars)<\/p>\n

“I think it’s pretty clear from the program we do support that it’s about keeping guns out of dangerous hands and not about confiscating guns,” Kris Brown, co-president of the Brady Campaign, which advocates against gun violence, told NBC News in March. <\/b><\/p>\n

I see we have someone from one of the biggest gun grabbing organizations around who understands the facts of life, and prefers to keep living. The Brady Campaign has long advocated the eventual disarming of the American People, they\u2019ve just grown a bit more subtle about it.<\/p>\n

The gun grabbers love to blame the \u201cEvil AR-15\u201d for the problems. What they fail to understand is, in a close in environment, such as the one in Broward County, a semi-automatic rifle is actually not that efficient. That scumbag could have done a lot more damage with an old fashioned pump action 12 gauge shotgun.<\/p>\n

The 5.56mm round generally used is a light weight, high velocity projectile. It was originally designed to tumble when it hit the target and come apart. These days, with the tighter twists in the barrels, the projectiles tend to spin faster and not tumble when they hit. (This isn\u2019t a hard and fast rule and I ask those with far more knowledge then I to provide better information in the comments section)<\/p>\n

The 12 gauge shotgun, on the other hand, has a wide variety of projectiles, everything from what amounts to BB\u2019s up to the equivalent of a group of .38 caliber ball bearings. This doesn\u2019t even cover the rifled slug that can weigh in at a solid ounce of lead. In a close quarters situation, a shotgun is far more deadly with the right ammunition then any semi-automatic rifle using a 5.56mm cartridge.<\/p>\n

There is a reason these firearms were called \u201cTrench Sweepers\u201d in World War One. The Germans hated these weapons which came into use when the American Expeditionary Forces arrived and went into action. A soldier with one of these could pour huge amounts of lead into the tightly packed Germans in their trenches, \u201csweeping\u201d them clean. Of course, most maniacs don\u2019t consider this when they want to conduct their massacres. They want to use \u201cThe Shiny Evil Black Rifle\u201d they\u2019ve heard so much about.<\/p>\n

So, there are a few actual facts for you to chew on and heave into the faces of the CommuNazi\u2019s like that teenage totalitarian, David Hogg. If what he and this CommuNazi scumbag Swalwell want to try is outright confiscation, then they had better be prepared for the probable outcome. Ending up swinging from a lamp post. So, how about this Swalwell? Try actually following the oath you swore when you assumed office.<\/p>\n
