However, there is a question. Are they actually all that eco-friendly or are they just a bunch of Leftist totalitarian hypocrites? The answer will surprise those who claim they are \u201cGood for the Earth and Mother Gaia!\u201d Here are the surprising details from the Washington Times<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Al Gore<\/a> has been accused of hypocrisy for talking the talk on climate change despite burning through fossil fuels at a rapid clip, but it turns out he\u2019s not alone. <\/b>A study by Cornell and the University of Michigan researchers found<\/a> that those \u201chighly concerned\u201d about climate change were less likely to engage in recycling and other eco-friendly behaviors than global-warming skeptics. <\/b><\/p>\n Wait, what?<\/p>\n Published in the April edition of the Journal of Environmental Psychology, the one-year study broke 600 participants into three groups based on their level of concern about climate change: \u201chighly concerned,\u201d \u201ccautiously worried,\u201d and \u201cskeptical.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n The \u201chighly concerned\u201d cluster was \u201cmost supportive of government climate policies, but least likely to report individual-level actions, whereas the \u2018Skeptical\u2019 opposed policy solutions but were most likely to report engaging in individual-level pro-environmental behaviors,\u201d the researchers concluded. <\/b><\/p>\n Now this is very interesting. The CommuNazi Eco-Terrorists who accuse the so called \u201cSkeptics\u201d of wanting to murder the Earth Goddess are actually far more likely to be the ones doing the most harm.<\/p>\n Conducting the study, entitled \u201cBelieving in climate change but not behaving sustainably,\u201d were Cornell assistant professor Neil A. Lewis Jr. and University of Michigan researchers Michael P. Hall and Phoebe C. Ellsworth. The skeptics were the more likely than the \u201chighly concerned\u201d to recycle, use public transportation and reusable shopping bags, and buy eco-friendly products. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cBelief in climate change predicted support for government policies to combat climate change, but did not generally translate to individual-level, self-reported pro-environmental behavior,\u201d said the paper. <\/b><\/p>\n So, those who claim to be \u201cEco-friendly\u201d are, in their personal lives, just a bunch of filthy hippies? Actually, what they are is totalitarians who believe in Rule by the Elites, instead of the Rule of Law. They are forever demanding that \u201cSomeone do something!\u201d but won\u2019t actually get off their fat, Progressive asses and live the lives the demand \u201cThose other, lower classes\u201d should live.<\/p>\n Why? Even the researchers were stumped, although it\u2019s possible that skeptics may place more emphasis on personal responsibility than government action. <\/b><\/p>\n I haven\u2019t bothered to look up the researchers, but I\u2019m guessing they may be on the left side of the dial. He ginned up this whole Global Warming scam for the sole purpose of enriching himself and gaining political power. Mostly, it was to enrich himself.
