Good day all. Last week, in a blatant assault on free speech, all the social media companies, such as Googlag, Faceplant, Rotten Apple and Twitter, took it upon themselves to ban Alex Jones and Infowars from their services.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not going into the right or wrong of this, (It\u2019s wrong), but rather talk about the response from Connecticut Senator, Chris Murphy. This disgrace to his office and violator of his Constitutional Oath stated that in order to save our democracy, we must ban speech we don\u2019t like. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., is calling on other tech companies to ban more sites like InfoWars, and says the survival of American democracy depends on it. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cInfowars is the tip of a giant iceberg of hate and lies that uses sites like Facebook and YouTube to tear our nation apart. These companies must do more than take down one website. The survival of our democracy depends on it,\u201d Murphy tweeted Monday. <\/b><\/p>\n

In an earlier tweet, Murphy reasoned that private companies \u201cshouldn\u2019t knowingly spread lies and hate.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Well, this Fascist Pig got his wish.<\/p>\n

Apple, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and Spotify removed<\/a> Alex Jones and his InfoWars show from their platforms in recent days, citing violations of their codes of conduct relating to hate speech. <\/b>Apple deleted all episodes for five of InfoWars\u2019 six podcasts, including the popular “Alex Jones Show” podcast, which was hosted by Jones, a prominent conspiracy theorist. <\/b><\/p>\n

Facebook made a similar move by taking down four InfoWars pages<\/a> after originally removing only certain videos it said violated its hate speech and bullying policies. Jones was previously suspended from the social media platform for 30 days<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve said it before. Alex Jones is a scumbag. Saying that, he does have the right to say whatever he wants. Yes, he\u2019s a paranoid conspiracy theorist, but it certainly looks like he was right. Not only are the CommuNazis running these socialist media platforms out to get him, we now have proof that U.S. Senators are perfectly happy to suppress speech they don\u2019t like.<\/p>\n

The best way to deal with Alex Jones and Infowars is to let people see what a nutcase he is. If Jones crosses a line and libels someone, there are legal remedies that can be taken in a civil court of law. What Murphy is saying is people can\u2019t be trusted to make their own decisions, and must be prevented from reading, let alone espousing ideas he finds distasteful<\/p>\n

Chris Murphy is unfit to hold the office of United States Senator. He needs to be removed from office. People like him have only one goal, the suppression of freedom and individual liberty, He has a long history of wanting to seize guns from private citizens and now he wants to end the 1st<\/sup> Amendment as well. I don\u2019t hold out much hope that the sheep in Connecticut will vote this totalitarian scumbag from office. I can hope of course.<\/p>\n
