Good day all. The state of Utah allows people to carry concealed firearms on college campuses as long as they meet the legal requirements. Many students, and I assume some faculty, who have no desire to be easy targets for some whackjob, avail themselves of their rights under the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment.<\/p>\n

However, there are plenty of \u201cteachers\u201d who despise people for believing they actually have any right to defend themselves, and it seems one of them decided to institute a \u201c2nd<\/sup> Amendment free zone\u201d in her classroom. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

A graduate teaching assistant has been criticized after trying to alienate and target students who conceal carry weapons in her classroom, labeling them as \u201cabsurd, antisocial, and frightening\u201d and forcing them to stand in a \u201c3X3 taped square.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIf you feel that it is somehow at all appropriate to bring a gun to class (hint: it is not\u2026),\u201d the controversial University of Utah teacher wrote in a section of her syllabus, then the students would be forced to stand in a \u201cSecond Amendment zone.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

While the public school instructor acknowledged the students\u2019 right to bear arms, she claimed she has the \u201cright to restrict elements of the Second Amendment in my own classroom\u201d like a \u201cfree speech zone.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

The assistant said those students would be forced to stand in a \u201c3×3 taped square on the floor in the very back of the classroom\u2026This zone does not include a desk because desks are reserved for students who respect the personal and psychological safety of their classmates and instructor.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

That none of this stupid cows did anything to her, like drag her out of the classroom and throw her off the campus, demonstrates that those who carry guns understand the responsibility they have, unlike this moron. The students who were subjected to this CommuNazi totalitarian\u2019s actions, however did exercise another right right they have. They called their state representative.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Utah State Rep. Karianne Lisonbee \u2013 a Republican lawmaker who passed legislation to lower the age of concealed carry in the state to 18-years-old so young women could defend themselves against potential rapists or attackers \u2013 posted a copy of the syllabus on her Facebook page<\/a> from two students in the class, telling Fox News, she did this after she reached to out the university. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI am livid,\u201d Lisonbee wrote, \u201cA University of Utah Professor doesn\u2019t understand the Bill of Rights and University policy on free speech \u2013 which is disturbing enough. But even more egregious, she is seeking to break state law and deprive students of their rights.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Lisonbee also said that \u201cfree speech zones\u201d no longer exist in Utah after lawmakers passed a 2017 bill requiring all higher education institutions to drop any free speech limitations.<\/b><\/p>\n

The fact that a state has to pass laws reinforcing the constitutional rights of students on college campuses tells me that it\u2019s time to start a detailed and repeated flushing of the halls of academia.<\/p>\n

The university immediately responded and reprimanded the teaching assistant for violating campus policy and state law, which both allow students to conceal carry.<\/b> “The statement has been removed from the syllabus and students in the class have been alerted to the error,” University of Utah spokesman, Chris Nelson, said Tuesday. <\/b><\/p>\n

“The graduate student instructor has apologized and has received additional training about the university\u2019s policies. The student instructor will not teach this semester and will instead have other assignments.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Excuse me? This waste of oxygen still has a position with the University of Utah? Why isn\u2019t she doing something more in line with her skill set, such as asking \u201cWould you like fries with your order?\u201d<\/p>\n

Lisonbee told Fox News she believes university officials “responded appropriately to protect the students” but is still concerned. <\/b><\/p>\n

“It seems to me that this event highlights the growing undercurrent against free speech in the university setting – not through policy or law, but through the power differential of liberal professors versus students who want to learn all sides of the issues in an unbiased way without fear or repercussion,” Lisonbee said. <\/b><\/p>\n

What we\u2019ve been seeing for the last century is the take over of the education system by people who, to be blunt, are Communists. They hold everything about this country in utter and complete contempt. Almost none of these Moonbats has ever held a non-academic job and have no real world experience. Their goal is to \u201cDumb down\u201d American children and young adults. We are fortunate that some of these students are a lot smarter then their erstwhile \u201cTeachers.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI just think, for her to say you don\u2019t have a desk, you don\u2019t have the same rights, like, that\u2019s just going against what our constitution was based on,\u201d Sarah Campbell, a sophomore at University of Utah told FOX 13<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

This CommuNazi moonbat of a \u201cTeaching assistant\u201d needs to be shown the door. She should never be allowed anywhere near a classroom again, other then to mop the floors and empty the trash. Unfortunately, I fully anticipate that she will get her teaching certificate, and that later on, we will see her mug shot as she\u2019s arrested for banging her students.<\/p>\n
