Mad Maxine has always had questionable ethics when it came to generating her personal wealth. (Actually, no ethics whatsoever would be more accurate) This time, the Federal Election Commission is being asked to investigate her political fundraising activities. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters is facing a new complaint about an obscure fundraising tactic that rakes in thousands from state politicians in exchange for being listed on her slate mailers \u2014 this time, involving supporters of a former Los Angeles mayor defeated in the June gubernatorial primary. <\/b><\/p>\n The National Legal and Policy Center, a conservative watchdog group, filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against Waters, her campaign and a pro-charter school group called Families and Teachers for Antonio Villaraigosa \u2014 which backed the former Democratic mayor of Los Angeles. <\/b><\/p>\n The pro-Villaraigosa group paid $25,000 to the Citizens for Waters Committee on May 25 to include Villaraigosa in her slate mailer, according to the complaint. FEC guidelines, however, say only a candidate\u2019s committee can pay for the mailers \u2014 sample ballots traditionally mailed out to about 200,000 voters in Los Angeles highlighting whom Waters supports. <\/b><\/p>\n I have to be honest, that one is about as arcane as it can get. As for Antonio Villaraigosa, He\u2019s the mayor of Los Angeles and a life long CommuNazi. He was running for Governor of Kalifornistan, but came in third in their joke of a primary out there.<\/p>\n Waters\u2019 mailers have <\/b>faced scrutiny<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/a> since 2010 because the campaign, since 2004, has paid her daughter Karen Waters, or her public relations firm Progressive Connections, to produce, print and mail the sample ballots.<\/b><\/p>\n So, she\u2019s basically laundering the bribes she\u2019s getting? Or is it just plain old looting her campaign treasury? That is a time dishonored tradition for both CommuNazis and RINO\u2019s.<\/p>\n Legally, candidates are paying a reimbursement for the slate mailer, rather than buying an endorsement. But it\u2019s difficult to prove whether the Waters endorsement comes as a result of the payment or if already endorsed candidates are paying for their share, Adav Noti, a former FEC assistant general counsel, <\/b>recently told Fox News while explaining the peculiar process<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n It sounds to me that it\u2019s flat out impossible to prove that Waters was paid for her endorsement.<\/p>\n The mailers also effectively provide a loophole to get around federal campaign contribution limits. The watchdog group\u2019s FEC complaint, the second against Waters since July, is asking for a full audit of the congresswoman\u2019s campaign. <\/b><\/p>\n “Since the commission has given federal campaigns broad discretion involving slate mailers it is imperative the issues cited in this complaint are fully investigated and all penalties and fines that may result from a finding that the Citizens for Waters campaign was in violation of the statutes cited should be applied in full,\u201d the complaint filed Thursday morning says.<\/b><\/p>\n I don\u2019t expect an audit to turn up much of anything. Mad Maxine is a corrupt racist thug, but she does hire the best accountants money can buy. Like any good Mafia Accountant, hers will know how to bury the evidence.
