Good day all. In a few days, the little monsters some call \u201cChildren\u201d will be putting on costumes and running about, extorting candy from homeowners. However, when it comes to their choice of costumes, the Progressives who Stole Halloween have made their presence known.<\/p>\n

In this case, we have the barking moonbats from Gonzaga University who are issuing warning about \u201cCulturally inappropriate\u201d costumes. Here are the detailks regarding this idiocy from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

With Halloween weekend approaching, Gonzaga University has taken the opportunity to warn its students about \u201cdangerous and damaging traditions\u201d that rear its head at this time of year – like \u201ccultural appropriation.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

The private Catholic school points to the holiday\u2019s \u201cChristian origins\u201d but notes that it has devolved into \u201cbinge drinking, sexualized or culturally inappropriate costumes, and vandalism,\u201d Judi Biggs Garbuio, the vice president for student development, and Athena Sok, student body president, wrote in a joint email obtained by Campus Reform<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

Well, I see they got the origins of Halloween dead wrong. It\u2019s actually a pre-Christianity pagan holiday that has been taken over by Christianity. As to the parts not dealing with \u201cculturally inappropriate costumes,\u201d they actually do have something there. Binge drinking is a bad idea and breaking other people\u2019s stuff is wrong and illegal. Females wearing skimpy costumes that leave little or nothing to the imagination? What\u2019s wrong with that?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe urge our community to be aware of the potentially harmful impact insensitive behavior can have on fellow students, other members of the Gonzaga community\u2026one of these behaviors is cultural appropriation \u2013 the act of taking or using things from a culture that is not your own, especially without showing respect of that culture.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

The Gonzaga Student Body Association put on several events this week leading up to the holiday, like \u201cCourageous Conversations: \u2018My Culture is Not a Costume\u2019\u201d and \u201cThe Sexualization of Halloween.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n
