Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Another top FBI official who helped oversee the Trump-Russia and Clinton email investigations is retiring, as the last traces of the bureau’s embattled leadership team that once stood under Barack Obama’s presidency disappear. <\/b><\/p>\n The official, Bill Priestap, will retire from his post as assistant director of the FBI\u2019s counterintelligence division by the end of the year. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cAssistant Director Bill Priestap became eligible to retire and has chosen to do so after 20 years of service,\u201d an FBI spokesperson told Fox News on Wednesday.<\/b><\/p>\n Interesting. Normally, federal officials like to put in a full 30 years. When they do, their pension is much larger. I guess he\u2019s seeing the writing on the wall and is planing to retire to a warm, sunny non-extradition retirement community.<\/p>\n Priestap, who participated in the bureau\u2019s investigation into Hillary Clinton\u2019s private email server and the FBI\u2019s initial probe into Russian meddling and potential collusion with Trump campaign associates during the 2016 presidential election, has testified before Congress on multiple occasions regarding the bureau\u2019s handling of both investigations.<\/b><\/p>\n Oh really? I find that very interesting.<\/p>\n His departure, which reportedly was unrelated to the controversies surrounding those investigations, is significant, as it marks the de facto end of the Obama-era leadership team — which has been steadily disbanding since the early months of the Trump administration amid a combination of firings and retirements. <\/b><\/p>\n Of course, completely unrelated. So, who are these pillars of justice that have joined Elvis and left the building?<\/p>\n Former FBI Director James Comey<\/strong><\/p>\n Comey was fired by President Trump. Since his dismissal, many things have come to light regarding his mismanagement of the FBI, not to mention doing leaking sensitive information. He is available for prosecution.<\/p>\n Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who was Comey\u2019s No. 2 and tasked with leading the bureau upon his termination, was fired by former Attorney General Jeff Sessions in March, just days before he would have been eligible for a lifetime pension, after it was determined that he lied to investigators reviewing the bureau\u2019s probe of Clinton\u2019s server.<\/strong><\/p>\n He\u2019s also available for Prosecution at a future date.<\/p>\n Peter Strzok and Lisa Page<\/strong><\/p>\n Nothing more needs to be said regarding these two. So utterly corrupt that any cases they\u2019ve handled should be reviewed. I\u2019m not sure if they will be available for prosecution at this time however.<\/p>\n James Baker<\/strong><\/p>\n I don\u2019t recall this one, but he left the same day as Lisa Page.<\/p>\n Baker, a top FBI lawyer, was reassigned in late 2017 as an adviser to current FBI Director Wray, after being the subject of a Justice Department investigation on the suspicion of leaking classified information about the salacious anti-Trump dossier to a journalist. <\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n Uh huh. Yep, another Deep Stater who should be charged. I suspect they can\u2019t prove it…yet.<\/p>\n James Rybicki<\/strong>, who served as chief of staff to Comey, left the FBI in January. He served as chief of staff to Wray in the first months of his leadership but left the bureau amid scrutiny over his role in the Clinton email investigation. Rybicki was not fired.
