Good day all. Now that the new year has begun, we will have a new crop of criminals and idiots being sworn into office. Most of them won\u2019t even try to follow their oath of office. Some don\u2019t have a clue what it means in the first place. One such will be Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.<\/p>\n

Occasional-Cortex as some call her, or Occluded-Cortex as I do, has demonstrated how utterly stupid she is. Now she has come out with a plan that will flat out destroy the economy of the United States. She\u2019s calling it the Green New Deal. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Incoming Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., pledged to voters she would be a far-left outsider who would push her party toward adopting \u201cdemocratic socialist\u201d policies, including universal health care and free college tuition. So far, she has kept her promise. <\/b><\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t hard for this little moonbat to keep that promise. She is, to put it bluntly, incredibly spoiled and quite stupid, like most privileged Millennials. She also has absolutely no clues about things like economics, science or engineering, which brings us to her latest dangerously stupid idea, her \u201cGreen New Deal.<\/p>\n

“O<\/b>casio-Cortez has been calling for the creation of \u201cGreen New Deal\u201d legislation, which would eliminate much of the United States\u2019 fossil-fuel consumption. So far, Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Cory Booker, D-N.J., and 40 House Democrats have said they support the proposal.<\/b><\/p>\n

Although the broad talking points of the plan have been circulating for months, it wasn\u2019t until recently that Ocasio-Cortez provided any details of her proposal. On December 3, according to The Atlantic<\/a>, Ocasio-Cortez spoke at a town hall led by Sanders and declared, “This is going to be the New Deal, the Great Society, the moon shot, the civil-rights movement of our generation.” <\/b><\/p>\n

No, what it will do is utterly crush the economy of the United States and basically drive 90% of the population into grinding, Soviet style poverty. Of course, for people like Occasional-Cortex, that\u2019s a feature, not a flaw.<\/p>\n

The specifics have still not been worked out, but what we know so far about her plan is that it would have catastrophic economic consequences, dramatically increase America\u2019s already skyrocketing debt, and transform the United States into a European-style socialist nation. (And no, these are not exaggerations.) <\/b><\/p>\n

What this stupid bimbo has cooked up would turn the United States into North Korea virtually overnight.<\/p>\n

In a draft resolution to create a House select committee t<\/a>hat would be responsible for writing the Green New Deal legislation, Ocasio-Cortez outlines the primary goals of her plan. Among them, Ocasio-Cortez proposes eliminating all fossil-fuel-powered electricity<\/a>, closing every coal and natural gas power plant in the country, thus destroying the hundreds of thousands of jobs related to these businesses. Even more stunning, all this would occur by 2030, just 10 years after Ocasio-Cortez expects the legislation to be completed. <\/b><\/p>\n

And what does this stupid Communist and the other totalitarian idiots plan on doing to supply the energy needs of the United States. Basically, it boils down to rainbows and unicorn farts.<\/p>\n

In its place, nearly all energy would be produced by renewable sources of power, especially wind and solar. This goal would create massive amounts of economic harm. Although economists have yet to provide an analysis of Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s proposal to eliminate all fossil fuels, other studies have found less-extreme policies would be absolutely devastating. <\/b><\/p>\n

A study published in October 2018 <\/a>by Capital Alpha Partners on behalf of the Institute for Energy Research found a national tax on carbon dioxide would cost the U.S. economy $4.21 trillion to $5.98 trillion, depending on the tax level chosen, in just the first 10 years of the tax scheme. By 2040, as much as $12.32 trillion would be lost. Nearly one-quarter of the country\u2019s GDP, relative to what it would otherwise be, could be lost as a result of a nationwide carbon-dioxide tax. And this far left-wing plan is nowhere near as radical as Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s Green New Deal. <\/b><\/p>\n

They aren\u2019t kidding. This totalitarian slut is proposing the ending of everything that is America.<\/p>\n

Ocasio-Cortez doesn\u2019t merely want to destroy the existing energy industry, the plan also requires \u201cupgrading every residential and industrial building for state-of-the-art energy efficiency, comfort and safety<\/a>\u201d and \u201celiminating greenhouse gas emissions from, repairing and improving transportation and other infrastructure, and upgrading water infrastructure<\/a>.\u201d Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s draft resolution also proposes the elimination of \u201cgreenhouse gas emissions from the manufacturing, agricultural and other industries.<\/a>\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

So, not only will Americans be dead broke, trying to survive in the freezing dark, they will also be starving because farms won\u2019t be allowed to use their machinery. Why? All those tractors and combines run on Diesel fuel. I guess she expects farms to go back to horse and ox drawn plows. Oh wait! Is that PETA I see standing in the wings?<\/p>\n

The radical nature of these proposals cannot be understated. \u201cUpgrading every residential and industrial building\u201d\u2014not just to make them more energy efficient, but also to improve \u201ccomfort and safety\u201d\u2014would cost untold trillions of dollars and insert the government into nearly every home and business in the country. Further, banning fossil fuels from all agricultural, manufacturing, and transportation would dramatically increase the cost of every product in the United States and make it difficult for American businesses to export products at reasonable prices.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would say that Justin Haskins<\/a> is understating what would happen. It would KILL millions of Americans. American farms are the most productive on Earth for a number of reasons. One of them is reasonably cheap power sources. What Occasional-Cortex would do is stop farmers from being able to do any farming. No farms, no food. It\u2019s as simple as that.<\/p>\n

That won\u2019t affect just Americans, it will also cause massive starvation throughout the world. America is one of me major exporters of food to the rest of the world. What does this idiot and her Marxist friends think will happen when farms stop producing? The other issue is paying for this nightmare.<\/p>\n

How does Ocasio-Cortez propose to pay for these many trillion-dollar programs? By raising taxes, creating new \u201cpublic banks,\u201d and running up the national debt. In a \u201cFrequently Asked Questions\u201d<\/a> section of Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s draft resolution, she claims the way to fund her far-reaching proposals is to use the \u201csame ways that we paid for the 2008 bank bailout and extended quantitative easing programs, the same ways we paid for World War II and many other wars. <\/b><\/p>\n

The Federal Reserve can extend credit to power these projects and investments, new public banks can be created (as in WWII) to extend credit and a combination of various taxation tools (including taxes on carbon and other emissions and progressive wealth taxes) can be employed.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

We\u2019re talking about 10\u2019s of trillions of dollars here, possibly a couple of hundred trillion. The only way to generate that kind of money is to run the printing presses at maximum for years. Of course, in very short order, the dollar would be worth less than a sheet of toilet paper.<\/p>\n

For the time being, it looks like Pelosi and the other, slightly less suicidal members of the incoming congressional leadership aren\u2019t going to join Occasional-Cortex in a suicide run into a brick wall, at least not yet.<\/p>\n

New reports indicate the House Democratic Party leadership has said it has decided not to create Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s committee\u2014for now. But supporters of the plan aren\u2019t giving up. They say they are going to continue pushing for these policies until they are transformed into legislation. <\/b><\/p>\n

Thankfully, if these idiots manage to create bills like this, they will be laughed out of the senate. The only way this could be turned into law would be if the CommuNazis had control of both the House and Senate as well as the White House. All these plans Occasional-Cortex has cooked up would be a nightmare to implement.<\/p>\n

Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s proposals would effectively eliminate fossil fuels from most of society, destroy millions of jobs and trillions of dollars of wealth, require \u201cupgrading\u201d every home and business in America, create a national federal jobs-guarantee program, impose single-payer health care (costing trillions more), establish a new system of publicly owned banks, run up the national debt by countless trillions of dollars, and move the United States closer than ever to socialism. If we don\u2019t stop it, it will destroy our economy for a whole generation of Americans. <\/b><\/p>\n

This is not accurate. First, it would not be a Socialist system, it would be a Communist system with all that entails. Second, long before this took effect, several things would happen, none of them good. You would see a number of states simply refuse to comply, probably leading to a secessionist movement.<\/p>\n

Another possibility would be flat our armed revolt. Millions of Americans, who would be seeing their lives going from middle class into extreme poverty, and knowing their children would be sentenced to death by starvation, would take their guns out and move on Occasional-Cortex and all the Democrats who pushed this on to them. Flat out, the Democrat Party would be annihilated and every single member put into an unmarked mass grave.<\/p>\n

Until someone stands up in a committee hearing where these plans are being pushed forward and flat out threatens our \u201crepresentatives,\u201d people like Occasional-Cortex will continue living in their little bubbles, totally impervious to things like facts and reality. I do not want to see the worst case scenarios happen, and thankfully, we have a Republican controlled senate and President Trump. These ruinous plans will never see the light of day.<\/p>\n
