Good day all. When Felonia von Pantsuit lost the 2016 election, both she and the CommuNazis were all screaming \u201cBut she won the popular vote!!\u201d The problem for Felonia, she didn\u2019t win most of the states and their electoral votes.<\/p>\n

This has royally ticked off the CommuNazis, Progressives, liberals, Intelligentsia, and Democrats. (I know, repeating myself again) They like to say that Felonia won 3 million more votes then President Trump and that she should be the president. Since studying the Constitution has never been something the average Progressive has done, allow me to give you a basic civics and history lesson.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The United States is not, and never has been a democracy. We are a Republic. We elect representatives to \u201crepresent\u201d us. (Mostly they don\u2019t) This includes the electoral college. Each state has the same number of electors, (The people who actually vote for the president), as representatives to the House. Normally, when a candidate wins a state, he or she also wins the votes of the electors.<\/p>\n

The reason for the Electoral College is rather simple. The founders knew what would happen to the nation under a direct democracy. The majority would oppress the minority. This includes the states. Small states, meaning those with smaller populations, could be ignored by the large states. With the Electoral College, candidates have to meet with voters in each state and convince them to vote for him or her.<\/p>\n

If you want to see what happens with direct democracy, look no further than Kalifornistan. The progressives in the cities have complete control of the state and have, for all intents and purposes, ignored the wishes of the more conservative parts of the state. Now Kalifornistan is teetering on the brink of fiscal collapse, all because people in the cities keep voting for idiots who promise them free stuff.<\/p>\n

If the Electoral College were abolished, then it would only be a few states who would be electing the President. Surprising no one, most of the states are controlled by the CommuNazis. These days, it\u2019s almost impossible for a Republican to win in those states. So, it would be these states that would be electing the president and that president would make Stalin look like a nice guy.<\/p>\n

There would be massive tax increases, stripping away of rights that the so called \u201cRed States\u201d hold dear and the imposition of rule by the elites. In other words, an end to the United States as a free nation. Since the CommuNazis can\u2019t seem to win with their loony tunes candidates, they have decided that they are going to change the rules.<\/p>\n

However, since they know they can\u2019t get an amendment passed ending the Electoral College and instituting Direct Democracy, they have decided to just ignore the constitution in its entirety. The Democrat controlled states are voting on something called an Interstate Compact that will award their electoral votes to whoever wins the popular vote. Colorado is the latest state to pass this measure. Here are the details from Roll Call<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Colorado has become the latest state \u2014 and the first swing state \u2014 to join a group pledging to elect presidents based on who wins the national popular vote. Eleven other states and the District of Columbia have signed onto the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, an agreement that requires those states to select their presidential electors based on who wins the most individual votes nationwide, regardless of which candidate wins in the state.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are just a couple of problems with this. First, it\u2019s blatantly unconstitutional. Right off the bat, it violates Article 1, Section 10<\/a> of the constitution. This section reads, in part:<\/p>\n

N<\/strong>o<\/b> State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State<\/i>, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay. <\/b><\/p>\n

The key part is \u201cEnter into any agreement or Compact with another State\u201d without the consent of congress. The current compact being pushed violates this section completely. But, as we all know, the Constitution is: a) A living document. b) irrelevant to today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The second issue is that it basically cancels the votes of the residents of that state. For instance, if this had been applied in 2016, then states that voted for President Trump would have their electors go against the wishes of the majority and vote for Felonia. I don\u2019t know about you, but if my vote were negated by another state, I would be rather angry.<\/p>\n

In order to try and avoid a court challenge, the CommuNazi controlled states have put in place something that they think will protect their cunning plan from the inevitable court challenge.<\/p>\n

The compact only goes into effect once states with at least 270 electoral votes \u2014 the number needed to win a presidential election \u2014 have signed on. While the addition of Colorado brings the electoral count of states in the compact to 181, reaching the 270 point before the 2020 election appears unlikely. <\/b><\/p>\n

It appears unlikely for a simple reason. This compact disenfranchises both voters and small states. (Small being population numbers) If they actually try to do this, it would cause an immediate constitutional crises, and a good chance of a civil war.<\/p>\n

Most people are not coastal Communists, and if a socialist president is forced down their throats by the states of Kalifornistan, Illinois, New York and a few others, and that president then moved to do what they\u2019ve been saying they will do, at the very least, a number of states will secede, probably led by Texas and a few others.<\/p>\n

Since these are generally states that are doing really well economically, there is no way that the Blue states could let them go. In goes the military, or more likely, DHS and the rest of the alphabet soup of federal law enforcement agencies. Their orders will be to \u201cAssert federal law\u201d and probably arrest the state leadership. That will lead to armed resistance and, civil war.<\/p>\n

At best, you will see states successfully breaking away and the end of the United States. Unlike the of Confederacy, it will be a majority of states that leave the union. You would also see a massive migration of people leaving the blue states and moving to the \u201cred\u201d states and vice versa. A scenario of this happening and the results was written by Kurt Schlicter<\/a> in his novels, People\u2019s Republic<\/a> and Indian Country<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Supporters say the concept would create a fairer basis for presidential elections by essentially going around the Electoral College and creating a system where each individual vote counts the same. It would also motivate potential voters in non-swing states to come out to polls, supporters say. <\/b><\/p>\n

The compact also includes a clause prohibiting states from pulling out. Norman Williams, a law professor at Willamette University in Salem, Ore said that would be unenforceable and would likely be one of the issues leading to a court challenge. <\/b><\/p>\n

Hypothetically, if the compact were in place in 2020 and President Donald Trump won the popular vote nationwide, California legislators would be under immense political pressure to pull out of the compact and award the state\u2019s electoral votes to the Democratic challenger, he said. <\/b><\/p>\n

There is so much wrong with this compact that it will keep lawyers going for years. However, as more and more people learn about this compact, and understand the ramifications, they grow more opposed to the idea.<\/p>\n

Overall support for a national popular vote dipped after the 2016 presidential election, especially among Republicans, according to a Gallup poll. The poll \u2014 which asked about a constitutional amendment, not the national popular vote compact \u2014 conducted within weeks of Election Day found 47 percent of voters said they favored keeping the current system, up from 35 percent in 2011. Among Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, only 19 percent supported changing the system, down from 54 percent in 2011.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You may say that it was President Trump winning in 2016 that caused many Republicans to change their minds. However, I think it was more understanding that if the CommuNazis get their way, The United States would quickly become a single party state and in all probability, considering the mindsets of people like Alexandria Occasional-Cortex, a totalitarian one.<\/p>\n

Paul Lundeen, a Republican state senator in Colorado who voted against the compact, said it would hurt smaller and more rural states and empower urban areas, where Democrats are stronger. <\/b><\/p>\n

It also undermines the principle of federalism by removing power from individual states and \u201ccedes power\u201d to larger states like California and New York, Lundeen said. He added he thought some want to change the system because they oppose Trump, but he said that\u2019s a short-sighted view. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIf there\u2019s a partisan element it\u2019s the knee-jerk reaction: \u2018I hate this current president and he didn\u2019t win the popular vote,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cAnd I think that hurts us in the long run.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

The Progressives have never been ones to indulge in things like long term thinking, or actual logical thought. For them, it\u2019s all about \u201cThe Feelz.\u201d This is nothing more than yet another way for the Democrats to try and steal an election. They like to say that Felonia von Pantsuit won the popular vote, but there are serious questions regarding that.<\/p>\n

The short lived Presidential Commission looking into voting fraud started finding a lot of questionable votes. One of the reasons it shut down was that many states didn\u2019t want anyone to know just how ineptly and incompetently they maintain the voting rolls. We also have the current mess in North Carolina, (One of the few cases of Republican stupidity) where they still don\u2019t have a representative in the House.<\/p>\n

If this compact went into effect and was allowed to stand, the election fraud would be off the charts. Of course, the goal of the Democrat party has always been to make America a Third World Banana Republic. Personally, I\u2019m going to do everything I can to prevent that. I like a free and prosperous America, even of the Progressives and CommuNazis don\u2019t.<\/p>\n
