Good day all. I literally happened to stumble across this story on my news feed. Last November, the Democrats took control of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. The Senate and the Governors office remained in control of the Republicans.<\/p>\n

The Democrats promptly began moving to suppress the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment rights of New Hampshire residents. First they banned people from carrying into the state house, and now they\u2019ve tried to institute a waiting period before you can take delivery of your guns. Here are the details from The Union Leader<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

The New Hampshire House on Tuesday passed two gun control bills, one requiring background checks for all firearms sales and another imposing a waiting period between the purchase and delivery of a gun. <\/b><\/p>\n

The Democratic majority in the House also defeated a Republican sponsored bill that would have expanded the state\u2019s \u201cStand Your Ground\u201d law to allow the use of deadly force in defending a third party or \u201cother\u201d against any felony offense. <\/b><\/p>\n

Just for the record, I know of no instances that the \u201cStand your ground\u201d law has been used in New Hampshire. However, what the New Hampshire wing of the CommuNazi party is doing is making sure that you can\u2019t use your firearms to protect other people being victimized by a criminal. Good to know that the NH CommuNazi Party puts the safety of criminals ahead of innocent people, just like the National party.<\/p>\n

HB 109, requiring universal background checks, passed 203-148, along mostly partisan lines. No Republicans voted for the bill, but seven Democrats voted against it. Republicans argued that friends and family members transferring firearms among themselves would be swept up in the law. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe minority believes there is no problem with illegal gun sales, use or possession in New Hampshire, yet this bill will create a ban on simple transfers of firearms between friends, family and neighbors,\u201d said Rep. John Burt, R-Goffstown. \u201cIf enacted into law, this bill will place otherwise law-abiding people at risk of arrest and prosecution.<\/b><\/p>\n

That was the intent. The goal of the CommuNazi Party is the total disarmament of the American citizenry. Why? So they no longer have to worry about getting their evil, tyrannical heads blown off.<\/p>\n

The bill prohibits any transaction involving a firearm unless a licensed firearms dealer is either the seller or the buyer. If neither party to the sale is a licensed firearms dealer, the parties will have to complete the transaction through a licensed firearms dealer so a background check can be conducted. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cBy voting to take this action requiring all commercial firearms sales to be accompanied by a background check performed by a licensed firearms dealer, the majority feels this legislation prudently protects public safety without jeopardizing the Second Amendment rights of our citizens,\u201d according to Rep. David Meuse, D-Portsmouth. <\/b><\/p>\n

What a load of horse manure. There are actually two constitutions that the House CommuNazis are violating. The Federal Constitution, (The 2nd<\/sup> Amendment), and the New Hampshire State Constitution. The 2nd<\/sup> Amendment of the United States Constitution is well known. The New Hampshire version isn\u2019t and it\u2019s even more explicit then the Federal version.<\/p>\n

Article 2-a [The Bearing of Arms]<\/b><\/p>\n

All persons have the right to keep and bear arms in defense of themselves, their families, their property and the state. December 1, 1982 <\/b><\/p>\n

As I said, that is pretty explicit. If the CommuNazis waiting period were to actually become law, then people would be denied their ability to get a firearm. (Even the background check is questionable, since it can take several hours to complete, however that is a discussion for another day)<\/p>\n

HB 514, which passed 199-147, calls for a waiting period of seven days to obtain a gun, excluding weekends and legal holidays, prompting critics of the legislation to claim the waiting period could extend as long as 11 days. <\/b><\/p>\n

There is documented evidence that waiting periods kill people. In states that have had them in the past, a person, usually female, who has filed a restraining order against someone, usually an abusive man, realizes that police are not a phone call away, and decide to take her protection into her own hands. She buys the gun and is told she has to wait a week. Sadly, the abuser kicks in her door and murders her.<\/p>\n

As for calling the police? They do not have to protect the individual, and the courts have ruled on this repeatedly. So, the Democrats want women defenseless so their primary constituency, rapists, robbers and murderers won\u2019t have to worry about getting killed as they carry out their robberies, rapes and murders.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe sponsors have not shown any evidence of criminals obtaining firearms from licensed dealers,\u201d said Burt. \u201cHowever, this bill will burden licensed dealers with additional record keeping requirements that will force them to increase prices, making it more expensive for law abiding people to exercise their Second Amendment rights.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

That was the intent Mr. Burt. You forget the primary goal of the CommuNazi Party. To institute a totalitarian state ruled by the Elite. Removing the means of preventing this goal from the people is priority 1 for them. In order to achieve this goal, the manufacture reasons that claim to \u201cHelp people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Supporter of the bill framed it largely as a way to prevent suicide. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cSuicide rates in New Hampshire have risen at an alarming rate of 48 percent between 1999 and 2016,\u201d said Democratic Majority Leader Doug Ley of Jaffrey. <\/b><\/p>\n

Ok Moonbat, time to put your money where your mouth is. Would you please show the statistics of people going into a gun store, who have never owned a gun, going through the background checks getting the gun and ammunition, taking it home and then figuring out how to load it and then shoot themselves with it? Hurry up, I have a meeting to go to.<\/p>\n

Sadly, people who commit suicide with a firearm usually already have it in the first place. Those who truly want to end it all will use whatever means is at hand, be it a gun, rope, overdose or other means. Gun stores generally have a good eye when someone comes in who doesn\u2019t know much, or anything about owning a gun and may dissuade them from buying until they\u2019ve had a few lessons under their belt. (Yes, I\u2019ve seen this happen)<\/p>\n

Another thing CommuNazis hate is the \u201cStand your Ground\u201d laws. This law basically states that if you have a lawful reason to be someplace, you have no duty to retreat in the face of a criminal. This is somewhat different from the self defense laws, and to my knowledge, has never been used in New Hampshire. The Republicans wanted to extend the Stand your ground law so that you could come to the defense of others. The CommuNazis were dead set against that of course.<\/p>\n

A bill that would extend New Hampshire\u2019s \u201cstand your ground\u201d law to the defense of others if a felony crime is under way (HB 208) failed 150-200 over concerns by Democrats that authorizing use of deadly force during any felony is too broad, since many felonies are non-violent. <\/b><\/p>\n

And this assumes that people carrying guns are incapable of understanding the ramifications of firing. The first thing ANY gun owner is taught, after the safety courses, is that you own any bullet you fire, so you damn well better be sure what you are firing at and why.<\/p>\n

Most people are not the trigger happy goons your average Progressive is. We understand that pulling that trigger is going to change your life. If you study the actual statistics, when a firearm is used defensively by a citizen, most of the time, they don\u2019t fire. The situation did call for them to draw or display their firearm, but, for whatever reason, they didn\u2019t need to pull the trigger to stop the attacks or the crime.<\/p>\n

A case in point about 200 yards from the Anger Central Primary Dwelling. An older gentleman, returning from grocery shopping, was walking along the sidewalk when three dirtbags decided he would make a fun target. They started pushing him around and knocked his bag of groceries from his grip. That was a big mistake.<\/p>\n

He punched the first assailant in the mouth, kicked the second in the groin, and the ringleader? The gentleman drew a concealed pistol. He didn\u2019t fire, he pistol whipped the jerk right across the side of the head. He dropped like a sack of wet cement. The first two, once they saw the gun, took off. The ringleader? When the police arrived a few minutes later, they saw this gentleman sitting on him, talking to the police dispatcher on his phone. I\u2019m told the security camera videos drew laughs from the police. The gentleman in question? He was a retired Marine.<\/p>\n

And the moral of this story? This man had every reason to shoot all three thugs. Legally, he could have, but he didn\u2019t. While I may have, (Yes, I do carry), it\u2019s also possible that simply falling back a few steps and aiming it at the thugs might have been sufficient. (Always have a determined look on your face and do not panic or show fear) It\u2019s surprisingly rare for people, police or citizen to actually discharge their firearms in such a situation.<\/p>\n

No, there is no \u201cBlood running down the streets from armed citizens\u201d no matter how many times Progressive say it will. Of course, in places that suppress the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment, (Chicago), people are getting gunned down left and right. Why? The criminals know they don\u2019t have to worry about a citizen being able to shoot back. (By the way, Citizens tend to be far better shots then criminals, and the police for that matter. They practice a lot more)<\/p>\n

In any case, this bill is dead on arrival. It won\u2019t make it through the senate, and if, by some miracle, if does, the governor will veto it.<\/p>\n

Gov. Chris Sununu, who has said he believes the state\u2019s gun laws are \u201cfine just the way they are,\u201d could well veto the waiting period and background check bills if they also clear the state Senate. <\/b><\/p>\n

What I think we\u2019re seeing is a concerted effort by the Democrats at all levels to take away all the rights of American Citizens and legal resident aliens, and in order to do this, they first need to disarm the citizenry. They really don\u2019t want a repeat of Athens, Tennessee<\/a>. For those who think that rebelling against the state government is a fast track to prison, I give you Article 10 of the New Hampshire State Constitution<\/a>:<\/p>\n

[Art.] 10. [Right of Revolution.]<\/strong> Government being instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security, of the whole community, and not for the private interest or emolument of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, whenever the ends of government are perverted, and public liberty manifestly endangered, and all other means of redress are ineffectual, the people may, and of right ought to reform the old, or establish a new government. The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.

I know that Article 10 this is being spoken of, and in public. Not as a threat, but as a warning that if the state goes to far, and that is the intention of the CommuNazi Party, they can and will be removed from office by force. Now you see why they want to confiscate guns.<\/p>\n
