Good day all. The current Moron\u2026 I mean Mayor of New York City William De Blasio has decided that large buildings are bad and must be retrofitted or torn down and replaced or he will summarily jail the owners.<\/p>\n

Granted, that last part is a bit over the top, but not by much. De Blasio is a communist in all ways and has a strong desire to emulate Josef Stalin. When Alexandria Occasional-Cortex came out with her totalitarian wet dream called the \u201cGreen New Deal\u201d, Doofus De Blasio literally knocked people aside to get on the crazy train.<\/p>\n

Doofus, demonstrating his complete lack of training in anything resembling science and engineering, has announced that he intends to ban glass and steel buildings. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

If the Big Apple is to become the Green Apple, it will have to ban the steel and glass towers that form its signature skyline, according to Mayor Bill de Blasio<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

De Blasio, speaking on MSNBC\u2019s \u201cMorning Joe\u201d said that city\u2019s most iconic structures \u2013 the tall skyscrapers seen from miles away \u2013 are the \u201cbiggest source of emissions\u201d in New York City. The drastic change, and a switch to only renewable energy within five years, are necessary for Gotham to embrace the Green New Deal<\/a>, de Blasio said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are putting clear, strong mandates\u201d to lower emissions, he said, warning property owners will face massive fines unless buildings are retrofitted. <\/b><\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cWe\u2019re going to ban the classic glass and steel skyscrapers, which are incredibly inefficient. If someone wants to build one of those things they can take a whole lot of steps to make it energy efficient, but we\u2019re not going to allow what we used to see in the past. <\/b><\/p>\n

Doofus De Blasio, like all communists, isn\u2019t a fan of private property, unless it\u2019s his. He also thinks that this nonsense will still be in place in 10 years. Of course, the fines are just a means to an end, and his end game is the seizure of ALL privately held building in New York.<\/p>\n

De Blasio said private building owners will be required to slash their emissions by 30 percent by 2030.<\/b><\/p>\n

And that simply isn\u2019t going to happen for any number of scientific reasons. One big scientific reason, the technology to do this doesn\u2019t exist. But delusional communists never ever let reality get in the way of their favored \u201c5 Year Plans.\u201d There is also the little matter of Doofus being a complete hypocrite.<\/p>\n

In the same conversation that he was touting renewable energy and reducing emissions, de Blasio also defended his use of a gas-guzzling SUV for his daily 11-mile trips from Gracie Mansion to his Brooklyn gym. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s make clear, this is just a part of my life,\u201d he said. \u201cI come from that neighborhood in Brooklyn. That\u2019s my home. I go there on a regular basis to stay connected to where I come from and not be in a bubble that I think for a lot of politicians is a huge problem.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

In other words, \u201cShut up don do as I tell you, and mind your own business. I\u2019m smarter than you and one of the elite. You no nothing you peons!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Green New Deal, championed by fellow New Yorker, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in Washington, is a radical measure that called for a massive overhaul of the nation\u2019s economy and energy use to cut emissions. <\/b><\/p>\n

The Green New Deal is designed to end the United States as a free, sovereign nation, and will turn it into a soviet style totalitarian state with the citizens reduced to abject poverty and serfdom. It will never happen, and it\u2019s beginning to look like Occasional-Cortex is going to be a one term wonder. Just to refresh your memory on the GND.<\/p>\n

The deal calls for the U.S. to shift away from fossil fuels such as oil and coal and replace them with renewable sources such as wind and solar power. It also calls for the virtual elimination of greenhouse gas emissions responsible for global warming by 2030. It is estimated to cost up to $93 trillion, or $600,000 per household, according to studies. <\/b><\/p>\n

Later Monday \u2013 which is also Earth Day \u2013 de Blasio held a press conference to introduce further his $14 billion plan, called \u201cOneNYC 2050: Building a Strong and Fair City.\u201d He called it a new comprehensive plan to \u201cprepare our city for the future.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

As what? A maximum security prison?<\/p>\n
