Good day all. This morning wrote about<\/a> how the CommuNazis in the House of Representatives want to jail Attorney general William Barr for their idea of what constitutes Contempt of Congress. Well, it looks like A.G. Barr is about to start returning fire. He has appointed a prosecutor to look into how the Russia investigation got started.<\/p>\n

The recently concluded Mueller Inquisition did a number of things, none of them expected by the Beltway Uniparty, Never Trumpers and Democrats. First, it showed that President Trump was not colluding with the Russians to steal the election from the Sainted Felonia von Pantsuit. What it did show was that much of what President Trump said about being spied on by the FBI and others was true.<\/p>\n

This and other things led to the firing or resignations of a number of senior DOJ and FBI personnel, starting with James Comey. The information publicly available seems to indicate that James Comey and others flat out lied to the court in order to get wiretap warrants against the Trump Transition team as well as members of his campaign. There are a couple of Inspectors General looking into this and their reports are due in the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n

It looks like Attorney General Barr now has sufficient information to have one of the United States Attorneys start looking into things. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Attorney General William Barr has appointed a U.S. attorney to examine the origins of the Russia investigation and determine if intelligence collection efforts<\/a> targeting the Trump campaign were “lawful and appropriate,” a person familiar with the situation told Fox News on Monday evening.<\/b><\/p>\n

John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, will conduct the inquiry, the source said. The move comes as the Trump administration has pushed for answers on why federal authorities conducted the surveillance — as well as whether Democrats were the ones who improperly colluded with foreign actors.<\/a> <\/b><\/p>\n

And I think we now know the reason the CommuNazis are so hot to get William Barr. They are terrified of where an actual, honest investigation will lead.<\/p>\n

Two sources told Fox News earlier today that Barr was \u201cserious\u201d and had assigned DOJ personnel to the probe. Durham is known as a “hard-charging, bulldog” prosecutor, Fox News is told. <\/b><\/p>\n

Sources familiar with matter say the focus of the probe includes the pre-transition period — prior to Nov. 7, 2016 — including the use and initiation of informants<\/a>, as well as potential Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuses. <\/b><\/p>\n

Oh boy, I think this could lead to Obama himself. Anything pre-election is fully his responsibility. It will be interesting how much was shredded starting on November 10th<\/sup>. (I figure three days to sober up and allow the hangovers to fade)<\/p>\n

An informant working for U.S. intelligence posed as a Cambridge University research assistant in September 2016 to try extracting any possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia from George Papadopoulos, then a Trump foreign policy adviser, it emerged earlier this month.<\/a> <\/b>Papadopoulos told Fox News the informant tried to “seduce” him as part of the “bizarre” episode.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is beginning to make Watergate look like a minor incident.<\/p>\n

Durham previously has investigated law enforcement corruption, the destruction of CIA videotapes and the Boston FBI office’s relationship with mobsters. He is set to continue to serve as the chief federal prosecutor in Connecticut.<\/b><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t recall anything regarding the CIA, but I do know about how Whitey Bulger completely subverted the Boston office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. They actually made a movie about it.<\/p>\n
