One of the things President Trump has been doing is cutting back the number of bureaucrats screwing up the lives of people and businesses in America. Recently, it came to the attention of a number of bureaucrats that they might have to move from the Beltway to West Middle of Nowhereville. What did they do? They quit. Here are the details <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/usda-staffers-quit-en-masse-as-trump-administration-eyes-moving-offices-out-of-dc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>Employees at the U.S. Department of Agriculture are quitting at a rapid clip as Secretary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/person\/p\/sonny-perdue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sonny Perdue<\/a> prepares to move forward with plans to relocate two offices far outside the Washington, D.C., Beltway. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/35\/3b\/cd\/353bcd3d24ce03c0b3d66439c851b4c7.jpg?resize=276%2C182&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"276\" height=\"182\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>Federal employees at the Economic Research Service (ERS) and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) \u2013 two small but important agencies within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/health\/usda-will-no-longer-use-kittens-cats-in-controversial-food-safety-testing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">USDA<\/a> \u2013 are unhappy with Perdue\u2019s plan, announced last August, to move the majority of their staff from current offices in the capital to an area closer the country\u2019s agricultural centers. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/violinist.gif\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-966\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/violinist.gif?resize=100%2C120\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201c<b>This move does not serve a public purpose,\u201d Peter Winch, a representative for the American Federation of Government Employees, a union that represents ERS workers, told Fox News. \u201cEmployees don\u2019t want to move, and it doesn\u2019t make sense for them to move.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Actually, it does. Of course, it doesn\u2019t serve the purposes of the Union.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>Winch added that since ERS employees joined AFGE earlier this month, six employees have already quit their jobs with the government agency in response to the planned move. He said overall staffing is down to 209 from 300 during the Obama administration. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>And the problem with this is what exactly? Oh, right! It means fewer dues paying CommuNazi voters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>Perdue said in a statement to Fox News that the move was meant \u201cto improve performance and the services these agencies provide.\u201d The secretary of agriculture added that the planned move would bring the department\u2019s scientists closer to \u201cstakeholders\u201d and \u201ccustomers\u201d such as Midwest farmers. <\/b><b>\u201cIt\u2019s been our goal to make USDA the most effective, efficient, and customer-focused department in the entire federal government,\u201d Perdue said. \u201cWe don\u2019t undertake these relocations lightly, and we are doing it to improve performance and the services these agencies provide.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Now why would any true \u201cI want to serve the people\u201d bureaucrat not want to move closer to the people he or she is meant to be working for? Could it be that they don\u2019t care about the farmers and others who could use some advice? Naah, It can\u2019t be that!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">C<b>ongressional Democrats <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/liz_crampton\/status\/1131642029715410946\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">are scrambling to try and block the move<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201c<b>This parochial idea of, like, \u2018Washington messes everything up. Let\u2019s move it out of town\u2019 overlooks the important role that this agency plays,\u201d Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, a member of the House Agriculture Committee, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/science\/2019\/04\/25\/trump-administration-plans-move-usda-research-divisions-despite-concerns\/?utm_term=.8b22c86be5ad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">told The Washington Post<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s just a heightened level of concern about this administration, generally, about data collection and science.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-20194\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit-300x223.jpg?resize=300%2C223\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit.jpg?resize=300%2C223&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/steaming_pile_of_horseshit.jpg?w=500&amp;ssl=1 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What I see here is a weakening of some entrenched power structures, and since the Democrats are big on bureaucracy and big government, anything that reduces either must be bad and must be stopped!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>Winch argued that weakening the agencies&#8217; influence in Washington is at least part of the point. The NIFA funds grants that go into researching the effects the agriculture sector has on climate change \u2013 which the Trump administration has tried to downplay \u2013 and Perdue was allegedly upset by NIFA\u2019s policy to support LGBT members of the 4-H youth farming organization. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Global Warming and man caused climate change are a load of manure. The sole purpose of the \u201cResearch\u201d is money. Flaming dump truck loads of grant money. For the Democrats, it\u2019s power and the ability to reduce Americans to chattel. As for the LGBT nonsense, WTF, Over? What does that have to do with agriculture? Scrap it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>Perdue and his staff have narrowed the list of places where the two agencies could go down to three from an original 130 &#8212; with Kansas City, the state of Indiana and North Carolina\u2019s research triangle in the Raleigh-Durham area on the shortlist. St. Louis, Mo., and Madison, Wis., are two alternate locations. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Well, it\u2019s a shame that the Grand Dragon of the KKK Democrat party, Robert Byrd, is dead, otherwise it would all be shipped West Virginia. Still to close to the beltway swamplands for my tastes. Trump\u2019s 2020 budget proposal wants $15.5 million to relocate ERS and $9.5 million to relocate NIFA.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I suspect Perdue probably does have the authority. As for the house passing a bill not allowing it? Granted, the CommuNazis control the house and the purse strings, but it still has to go through the senate and be signed by President Trump. Even then, not hiring new people will put a dent in the hopes and dreams of the scum in the house.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201c<b>We continue to believe that the USDA lacks the legal authority to carry out this proposal,\u201d Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, D-Md., and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, D-D.C., said in a statement earlier this spring. \u201cHowever, even if it had such authority, USDA has not done the proper analysis of the cost and benefits, and this proposal will harm agriculture research and our constituents.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Translation, \u201cWe will do all we can to protect our base and screw the rest of the country.\u201d When Hoyer and Holmes talke about this hurting their constituents, they aren\u2019t talking about farmers. As for the cost analysis, well guess what? It\u2019s a hell of a lot cheaper living in Kansas then it is in Washington DC. That means a lower cost of living and housing.
