This has set the Democrats on fire. For decades, when they couldn\u2019t get what they wanted through persuasion or legislation, they got from their pet judges who have been issuing rulings that fly in the face of the Constitution. President Trump has made appointing constitutionalist judges, meaning judges who read the constitution as well as the writings of those who wrote it, and they have been cleaning up the mess left by the likes of Obama judges.<\/p>\n
Since the Democrats despise the Constitution and the limits it puts on them, and the fact that there is a good chance of President Trump leaving the Supreme Court in the hands of a constitutionalist majority, has driven them to do whatever it takes to get there way. Recently, they\u2019ve revived the idea of \u201cPacking\u201d the courts to dilute the influence of Judges who are strict in their interpretation of the Constitution of the United States. Here are some of the details and the threats by the Democrats from the Washington Times<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n A Senate Democrat warned the Supreme Court<\/a> this week not to hear a case involving a New York City gun control law, saying the GOP-appointed majority is too tainted to deliver a valid ruling. <\/b>The stunning filing by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse<\/a>, Rhode Island Democrat, argues the court<\/a> has become too partisan and has produced too many ideologically divided rulings, damaging the public\u2019s trust in the federal judiciary. <\/b><\/p>\n Does this moron understand just how bad this looks? The judicial branch is a separate branch of government and is NOT beholding to either Congress or the President.<\/p>\n He warned of looming changes the political branches could force on the court<\/a> should it fail to show restraint.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Supreme Court<\/a> is not well. And the people know it,\u201d Mr. Whitehouse<\/a> argued in his brief. \u201cPerhaps the court<\/a> can heal itself before the public demands it be \u2018restructured in order to reduce the influence of politics.\u2019 Particularly on the urgent issue of gun control, a nation desperately needs it to heal.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Whitehouse\u2019s idea of \u201cHealing\u201d involves tearing up the constitution and stripping away the rights of the American People. He has a long history of totalitarian views. If the GOP had any brains, they would put someone up against him and simply say: \u201cWhitehouse wants to repeal the Constitution and make you all slaves!\u201d<\/p>\n He complained that secret interests are attempting to subvert justice at the court<\/a>, pointing to a number of amicus briefs filed on behalf of Second Amendment rights advocates that he said are puppets of the National Rifle Association, the Federalist Society and other conservative organizations. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cOut in the real world, Americans are murdered each day with firearms in classrooms or movie theaters or churches or city streets, and a generation of preschoolers is being trained in active-shooter survival drills,\u201d he wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n So, Whitehouse is accusing people, groups and organizations who oppose his totalitarian views of engaging their right to petition the court? Has this idiot ever read the constitution? He certainly has no interst in upholding it as he swore to do when he took the oath of office. So what has ticked off this CommuNazi scumbag anyway?<\/p>\n The case involves a New York City system that set up two types of licenses for handgun possession: one that allowed carry outside the home, and the other that only authorized possession at a home or business. The city had an ordinance that prevented those with the home-only license from transporting their weapons to second homes or shooting ranges outside the city. <\/b><\/p>\n New York City is notorious for suppressing the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment rights of people. The law is so egregiously unconstitutional, that New York City recently moved to repeal the law to keep the courts from ruling on it and other anti-Second Amendment laws.<\/p>\n Gun-rights groups challenged the ordinance, but lower courts sided with the city.<\/b><\/p>\n A number of those Lower Courts are presided over by leftist judges who believe that the state is supreme, not the rights of the people, especially when it comes to people having the tools to tell their \u201cBetters\u201d to take a long walk off a short pier.<\/p>\n The gun-rights groups have asked the Supreme Court<\/a> to hear the case, but New York, fearing a loss that could turn into a major pro-gun precedent, scrambled to undo its ordinance. <\/b><\/p>\n That should tell you something. They knew going in that it was blatantly unconstitutional. It was so bad, that it\u2019s entirely possible the court could have ruled in such a way that any number of gun control laws would be ruled unconstitutional. This is why the Democrats in general and Sheldon Whitehouse in particular have started threatening the court.<\/p>\n Mr. Whitehouse<\/a> and a host of other Democrats and liberal activist groups are now pleading with the high court<\/a> to refuse to hear the case, arguing New York has made it moot. <\/b>They fear a 5-4 ruling would expand on the last 12 years of pro-gun rulings. <\/b><\/p>\n Oh we can\u2019t have that! Why the peons, low life’s and serfs might actually think that they have the right to defend themselves! We can\u2019t have that!<\/p>\n Mr. Whitehouse<\/a>, in his brief, argued a series of similar rulings with \u201cbare partisan majorities\u201d has damaged the public trust in the federal judiciary. <\/b><\/p>\n Thanks to the repeated unconstitutional rulings by Obama judges, not to mention a number of GOP(e) Uniparty judges, is it any surprise people don\u2019t trust the courts?<\/p>\n He pointed to a Quinnipiac poll from May, which found 55% of Americans said the court<\/a> was \u201cmainly motivated by politics.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n I suspect the question asked didn\u2019t go into why people feel the courts are political. The main reason of late is the Obama judges issuing rulings that to the average person look just wrong, but that they are asserting powers they are not entitled to. There is a reason most people don\u2019t believe polls any longer. The other thing is, the courts are not supposed to consider public opinion.<\/p>\n He did not elaborate on what the public pressure for a \u201crestructured\u201d court might look like. <\/b>But several 2020 Democratic presidential candidates have suggested they would propose expanding the high court<\/a> to as many as 15 justices if they win the White House, then fill those seats with liberal members to counter the GOP\u2019s current 5-4 majority in appointments. <\/b><\/p>\n So their intent is to flat out subvert the constitution by putting people on the bench who\u2019s only purpose is to push forward the political agenda of the CommuNazi party? In other words, they have stated that they will politicize the court. I can\u2019t think of a faster way to start a civil war in this country.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
