Good day all. The 2020 presidential election is ramping up. (You may have noticed the CommuNazis promising to ruin America recently) As you would expect, people are looking at the states Trump won as well as those he lost.<\/p>\n

One of the states is Minnesota. Minnesota is considered a solidly Blue state, and will always vote for the Democrats even if it means giving up everything they have. Now, things might be different. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Almost no one expected Donald Trump to win the 2016 presidential election, but his campaign\u2019s strategy to focus on disaffected Midwest voters long abandoned by the Democratic Party leadership<\/a> paid off in a big way. A majority of voters in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and, perhaps most surprisingly, Wisconsin, all pulled the lever in favor of Trump. <\/b><\/p>\n

To win a second term<\/a>, Trump is going to need a similar level of success in the Midwest, and it looks as though Minnesota, which has long been thought of as an iron-clad Democratic stronghold, could be a big part of his 2020 strategy \u2014 and for good reason. <\/b><\/p>\n

Without Minnesota, the Democratic presidential candidate<\/a> \u2014 regardless of who wins the primary race \u2014 would face a nearly insurmountable uphill battle. For example, even if the Democratic challenger were to flip Michigan and Pennsylvania to his or her side, it still wouldn\u2019t be enough to win if Trump were to hold every other state he captured in 2020 and wins in Minnesota. Winning Minnesota would also mean that Trump could lose Florida and Arizona \u2014 two states he won in 2016 \u2014 and still end up with more than the required 270 electoral votes. <\/b><\/p>\n

One of the things that the Democrats and their lackeys in the Mostly Stupid Media are missing is that the economy is doing better then it has in decades. The 8 years of high unemployment and minimal growth under Der Fubar, Barack Obama, has been reversed, and unemployment is at historic lows. As James Carville once said, \u201cIt\u2019s the economy stupid.\u201d People tend to vote their wallets, and full wallets benefit the incumbent.<\/p>\n

Of course, beating the Democratic challenger in Minnesota is easier said than done. No Republican presidential candidate has won in Minnesota since Richard Nixon in 1972. <\/b><\/p>\n

But Trump is not a \u201cnormal\u201d Republican. He only lost Minnesota by a little more than 40,000 votes in 2016. Mitt Romney lost by more than 200,000. <\/b><\/p>\n

One of the big differences between 2016 and now is that President Trump was an unknown quantity. A number of votes that should have gone to him went to the Never Trumper backed Evan McMullin and to epic failure Gary Johnson. Between the two of them they captured almost 180,000 votes, more then enough to put Donald Trump over the top. What this means for 2020? Well, consider that the Democrats have basically moved to full on Communist Totalitarianism and how well that sits with most Americans.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s another great reason to believe Trump has a good shot of winning Minnesota: Democrats are increasingly moving away from the policies swing voters in the state have long valued in favor of radical Progressivism and even socialism. Democrats have moved so far to the left during the current election cycle that it\u2019s becoming difficult to tell the difference between their party’s platform and the platform of the Democratic Socialists of America. <\/b><\/p>\n

Then there is another problem for the Democrats<\/i><\/span> CommuNazis. Her name is Ilhan Omar. For the Democrats, she is the gift that keeps on giving…like Herpes and Aids.<\/p>\n

To say Omar has had an absolutely disastrous first term in office would be an understatement. Not only has she been plagued by questions about potential violations of campaign finance rules and immigration laws and remarks some have deemed to be anti-Semitic, she has also routinely advocated for some of the most radical, socialistic policies offered in decades \u2014 including “Medicare-for-All,” the “cancellation” of all student loan debt, and the craziest proposal of all: the Green New Deal.<\/b><\/p>\n

Omar, in case you didn\u2019t know, is an immigrant, a naturalized American and a militant Muslim. She is so anti-Semitic that she makes Adolph Hitler look tolerant in comparison. (I know, but hey, my blog and I can engage in over the top hyperbole if I want to) She is turning into the best speech and ad writer the Republicans have ever had.<\/p>\n

As for the Green New Deal, that is being as a means to \u201cSave the planet before we all die!\u201d but what it is, is a plan to turn the Untied States into a communist country. This is popular with the Progressive Elites since it means more power to them. For the rest of us? Not so much.<\/p>\n

This radical socialist proposal might be a popular idea among elites in parts of the Northeast and on the West Coast, but it isn\u2019t the sort of thing middle-of-the-road Democrats have historically backed in the heart of the Midwest. <\/b><\/p>\n

Earlier in 2019, left-wing Democrats attempted to pass a 100 percent renewable energy mandate, which energy providers in the state would have been forced to comply with by 2050. The destruction of the fossil-fuel industry would be particularly disastrous for Minnesotans. The Center of the American Experiment estimates just a 50 percent renewable energy requirement would cost the state more than $80 billion and nearly 21,000 lost jobs. <\/b><\/p>\n

That mandate failed spectacularly. People took one look at it, then took a look at the temperature in January, realized that it gets damn cold in Minnesota and said Hell NO!<\/p>\n

Such radical policies, mixed with Omar\u2019s far-left views on immigration and her close relationship with socialists like Ocasio-Cortez, have led to a dramatic decline in her popularity nationally and among swing voters, the very people likely to decide the 2020 race in Minnesota and the rest of the Midwest. <\/b><\/p>\n

There is a better then even chance that the Democrats will put someone up against her in the primary. If they don\u2019t, and she is the nominee in 2020, then you can bet she will face a Republican. Anyone halfway acceptable to the people in her district and Omar will be \u201cSent home.\u201d (Back to Minnesota) Of course, her district is made up of moonbats to stupid to think for themselves, so she will probably be reelected.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, The Democrats are pointing to all the polls saying that no one likes President Trump. Of course, they forget just how accurate those polls were in 2016. Just ask President Felonia von Pantsuit.<\/p>\n

Democrats might point to preliminary 2020 polling that shows Trump\u2019s approval rating among Minnesotans isn\u2019t high as proof that he is likely to lose the state again, but it\u2019s important to remember pollsters performed terribly in 2016 in the Midwest. <\/b><\/p>\n

For example, the two final surveys conducted in Minnesota prior to the 2016 election (according to Real Clear Politics) showed Trump losing by an average of 9 percentage points. He\u00a0ended up losing by less than 2. Similarly, the final survey conducted in Wisconsin predicted Trump would lose by 8 percentage points. He won the state. <\/b><\/p>\n

If Trump can paint the 2020 election as a choice between his economic achievements \u2014 Minnesota now has the 14th best unemployment rate in the nation \u2014 and the radical socialism of Ilhan Omar, it\u2019s very possible Democrats could be in for another very rough election night. <\/b><\/p>\n

Oh God I hope so! I turned in early on election night in 2016 thinking that Felonia von Pantsuit had won and that she would trigger an outright civil war. I woke up at 3am and saw a text message from the Angry Brother Inlaw. It had 6 words in the message. \u201cAre you seeing this? Trump Won!\u201d I turned on the TV and watched the returns and saw how the leftist commentators looked down right suicidal and in utter denial at what had just happened.<\/p>\n

I want to see that happen again. I enjoyed the idiots at CNN looking like they had just had a colonoscopy, without anesthetic and that the probe was not a camera but a steel wire brush. The Left has consistently underestimated Donald Trump. I would like to encourage them to do so.<\/p>\n
