Good day all! I hope you are enjoying Labor Day. It\u2019s nice to be able to enjoy it since I have a job, and you should have a job. In fact, no thanks to the Democrats, (And plenty of thanks to President Trump), unemployment is at record lows.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Democrats have a plan to fix that little problem, all while announcing how much they are \u201chelping\u201d the working class. A column in Fox New<\/b><\/a>s by Daniel Turner<\/a> shows just how wonderful for job holders the Democrat\u2019s plans will be if they get the chance to jam them down our throats<\/i><\/span> implement them.<\/p>\n

Democratic presidential candidates<\/a> are crisscrossing the nation claiming to be the champions of blue-collar workers and demonizing President Trump as the champion of the rich and powerful who doesn\u2019t care about working men and women. But these claims have no basis in fact.<\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This Labor Day weekend is a good time to separate Democratic rhetoric from reality and see how the dramatically different policies that President Trump<\/a> and his Democratic would-be challengers embrace would impact American workers.<\/b><\/p>\n

Sounds like a plan to me. Of course, I can boil it down quite easily. The Democrats plans will make Venezuela look like a garden spot. But please, continue.<\/p>\n

A reality check shows that Trump policies encouraging domestic energy production have created jobs, strengthened our economy, and reduced the amount of money we must spend to import energy from other nations \u2013 including some hostile to our interests. <\/b><\/p>\n

For the first time in decades, the United States is now a net exporter of energy products, which frosts the Progressive Liberal Democrats no end. Compare this state of affairs with the announced plans of Felonia von Pantsuit during the 2016 election. She flat out stated she was going to shut down the coal industry and throw 10\u2019s of thousand of people out of work.<\/p>\n

And a reality check also shows that while Democrats boast about their supposedly pro-worker policies, those policies would actually destroy millions of working-class jobs and devastate many communities. <\/b><\/p>\n

Please, explain to us uneducated Deplorable Americans. After all, according to the Progressive Democrats, we\u2019re too stupid to understand these things. Oh wait, you\u2019re one of the deplorable class, aren\u2019t you? My apologies, I thought you were just another Progressive Totalitarian elitist snob. Please continue.<\/p>\n

For example, the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates have all made a hard-left pivot on energy and adopted radical environmental policies like the Green New Deal. These policies would require massive regulation of how we live our lives, massive tax increases to raise trillions of dollars to implement and enforce these regulations, massive growth of government, and massive price increases on the products we rely on.<\/b><\/p>\n

Actually, to put the Green New Deal in place would require suspending the constitution of the United States to start with. You would then see a command economy rivaling the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics put into place with the same results. Complete collapse of the United States, and turning Americans, with the exception of the Progressive Elites, into slaves.<\/p>\n

The policies of President Barack Obama look almost conservative by comparison<\/b><\/p>\n

That should give people a clue on just how bad the economy will become if the Green New Deal were ever put into place. Economists like to say that the \u201cGreat Recession\u201d ended in 2010, but the reality is, it didn\u2019t end until the day after the election and Donald Trump was named the winner.<\/p>\n

There has never been a time in American history when mainstream political candidates for the presidency have embraced far-left Big Government policies as radical as the Democrats embrace today<\/b>.<\/p>\n

I disagree. Franklin Delano Roosevelt\u2019s policies under the New Deal weren\u2019t that far off. We\u2019re just lucky that two things happened. The courts slowed him down and the Imperial Japanese decided to commit national Seppuku when they attacked Pearl Harbor.<\/p>\n

These policies would create enormous change in our country \u2013 but despite what the Democrats say, it would be change for the worse. <\/b><\/p>\n

Actually, it would trigger a full blown civil war. This is the reason the Progressives are so hot to disarm Americans. Having millions of people literally gunning for you does tend to make one think.<\/p>\n

Self-proclaimed socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. \u2013 a magnet for media coverage \u2013 was the first to outline this extreme eco-policy. She has inspired the entire 2020 Democratic presidential field to embrace it. <\/b><\/p>\n

The Green New Deal was put together by her former Chief of Staff and by his own admission, was meant to turn the United States into a Communist country. (Although he didn\u2019t use that term)<\/p>\n

Keep in mind that one of Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s proudest accomplishments in her brief time in office was helping to persuade Amazon to cancel plans to build a second headquarters in her New York City congressional district. The headquarters would have created over 25,000 jobs with an average annual salary of over $150,000. Amazon said the highly paid workforce could have grown to 40,000 men and women in 15 years. <\/b><\/p>\n

That move by Occasional-Cortex may just win her the award as the stupidest one term congresswoman in history.<\/p>\n

Ocasio-Cortez boasted that killing 40,000 jobs \u201cdefeated Amazon\u2019s corporate greed, its worker exploitation and the power of the richest man in the world.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Occasional-Cortex has managed to piss off the Democrats in New York. Thanks to her, not only were all those high paying jobs lost, but also all that nice tax revenue as well.<\/p>\n

Every Democratic presidential candidate has adopted at least some of the freshman congresswoman\u2019s radical environmental ideas. The only candidate who didn\u2019t was energy expert, scientist and former governor of energy-rich Colorado John Hickenlooper. He has since dropped out of the presidential race, and that red flag should alarm most thinking people.<\/b><\/p>\n

The problem with today\u2019s Democrat Party is that they have gone full Communist. The people who are \u201cThe Base\u201d, unlike the Republican base are made up of idiots, morons, losers and some of the most useless members of American society. Science, logic and common sense long ago departed the Democrat Party.<\/p>\n

Former Vice President Joe Biden has said he wants to ban<\/a> offshore oil and natural gas drilling in Alaska, which would devastate that state\u2019s economy. In fact, he favors banning new oil and natural gas leases on all public lands. This would move energy workers in places like New Mexico and Colorado from payrolls to the unemployment rolls.<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Biden is not mentally fit for the office. If he were to be elected, he would be rolled by pretty much everyone. It wouldn\u2019t be beyond the realm of possibility that the 25th<\/sup> Amendment might actually be used on him. Or not. He might just end up as a figurehead to some behind the scenes players.<\/p>\n

Mr. Turner then goes into some of the promises by Comrade Bernie and Fauxahontas Warren. Princess Lie-a-watha wants to shut down frakking, costing hundreds of thousands of energy workers their rather high paying jobs.<\/p>\n

Warren can campaign in Pennsylvania by guaranteeing those 300,000 people that she\u2019s made sure they will not be \u201cexploited\u201d by earning paychecks, as Ocasio-Cortez would put it. <\/b><\/p>\n

Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is even more extreme. He\u2019d spend over $16 trillion \u2013 an unimaginable sum that would come out of your tax dollars \u2013 on an<\/a> eco-plan that requires ignoring reality. <\/b><\/p>\n

Comrade Bernie has never let reality stand in his way, the big hypocrite. He thinks Venezuela is a well run socialist workers paradise.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no wonder that the labor movement \u2013 once the backbone of the Democratic Party \u2013 is aghast at what these so-called pro-labor candidates have embraced. The AFL-CIO, representing over 12 million workers, has slammed<\/a> the Green New Deal as \u201cnot achievable or realistic.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

It is rather difficult to have a union full of dues paying members when those same members are on the streets starving to death. Paying dues to the high rollers who run unions won\u2019t be on their list of things to do. The Green New Disaster would cost over 1 million people their jobs in the energy sector, and that doesn\u2019t take into account the secondary effects. All the people who work to support that million people will also lose their jobs, which will then cost more people their jobs. Before you know it, unemployment would be well into the double digits.<\/p>\n

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka put it best when he said<\/a>: \u201cSimply demanding that plants, industries and projects be stopped or shut down, with no plan for the people who are put out of work, no call for shared sacrifice, and no dialogue or solidarity with those whose lives and communities are dependent on carbon-based fuels, that poisons the well politically.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Trumka is a dirt bag but even he knows that if all his members lose their jobs, he\u2019ll be out on the street shortly thereafter.<\/p>\n

All the daily things we take for granted are made possible by energy workers. On Labor Day we owe it to them to celebrate their contributions. Fill up your gas tank, light up the grill, watch football on TV \u2013 no matter what you do, you are saying \u201cthank you\u201d to millions of energy workers who power the nation, power our lifestyles, and power the future. <\/b><\/p>\n

When Felonia von Pantsuit lost in what should have been an easy victory, the Democrats went completely off their nut. Then President Trump began gutting Obama\u2019s \u201cLegacy\u201d and removing thousands of regulations that did nothing but strangle the economy. During the campaign, President Trump was asked if he would acknowledge that Felonia had won the election. Candidate Trump was noncommittal in his response which set off the Progressives.<\/p>\n

Then came November and Felonia losing the election. Since then it\u2019s been the Democrats who have not only refused to accept the results of the election, but have moved heaven and Earth to undo the results. Now they have finally gone over the edge. If, by some miracle, someone like Warren or Sanders won the election and proceeded to implement their plans, well, the guns they hate so much would come out. America is not a communist country. We will not allow the Progressives to move us in that direction. Crushing them in November 2020 at the ballot box will be so much sweeter.<\/p>\n
