Good day all. A couple of weeks ago, a video came out showing ABC News Anchor, Amy Robach, ranting about how the higher ups in ABC spiked her story on Jeffrey Epstein 3 years go. The video ended up in the hands of Project Veritas and exploded all over the Internet.<\/p>\n

This led to ABC starting a witch hunt for whoever released the video. A week ago information came out that the person they thought had released the video no longer worked for ABC, but had gone over to CBS. ABC contacted CBS and had them fire the accused person. It appears that they went after the wrong person. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

ABC News and CBS News<\/a> are both facing a firestorm of criticism over their response to a leaked video featuring ABC anchor Amy Robach complaining that the network had spiked an interview with a prominent accuser of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

Instead of looking into why Ms. Robach\u2019s story, apparently which had all the details on Epstein and the girls he abused that came out a few weeks ago, they decided to go after the leaker instead and initiated a mole hunt.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, reports circulated that ABC had identified the employee suspected of leaking the Robach video to controversial watchdog group Project Veritas. According to the reports, ABC executives informed their counterparts at CBS, where the staffer had recently been hired, of their suspicions and the employee soon lost her job.<\/b><\/p>\n

From what I\u2019ve read, she was given no notice and wasn\u2019t even allowed to defend herself. I have a sneaking suspicion that the legal department was not involved in the decision to fire this person.<\/p>\n

However, on Friday, ousted CBS staffer Ashley Bianco publicly denied that she was the leaker. At almost the exact same moment, Project Veritas published a note<\/a> from the alleged “ABC insider” it claimed was behind the leak.<\/b><\/p>\n

Bianco, a former producer on ABC\u2019s \u201cGood Morning America\u201d who joined \u201cCBS This Morning\u201d last month, said she was fired by CBS after the network received a call from ABC informing her new boss that she once had access to the leaked video. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI did not” leak the tape, Bianco told journalist Megyn Kelly in an interview posted on YouTube.\u201cI\u2019m not the whistleblower. I\u2019m sorry to ABC, but the leaker is still inside.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

According to Ms. Bianco, the existence of the recording was common knowledge inside ABC, and that many people had access to it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI begged, I pleaded, I didn\u2019t know what I had done wrong,\u201d she told Kelly. \u201cI wasn\u2019t even given the professional courtesy to defend myself. It was humiliating, it was devastating.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

The alleged actual leaker, apparently still working for ABC, sent a note to Project Veritas.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the alleged leaker — using the pseudonym “Ignotus” \u2013 began the piece published by Project Veritas by stressing, “I did not and do not seek any personal gain from this information whether it be financial or otherwise,” and expressed their desire to make the information public out of “anger, confusion and sadness.” <\/b><\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve walked the halls experiencing similar feelings we are all having right now,” wrote the supposed leaker, addressing ABC employees. “All of you regardless of your own personal differences in one form or another do an outstanding job. I sincerely enjoy working with each and every one of you and will continue to do so throughout our careers.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Ignotus then addressed “those wrongfully accused,” an apparent reference to Bianco. <\/b><\/p>\n

“It is terrible that you have been lashed out at by the company. I know some may put the burden of guilt on me, but my conscience is clear,” Ignotus wrote. “The actions of the company towards you are the result of their own and not anyone else. The public outcry, from coast to coast, of all people, creeds, and political affiliations, is clear. I have not one doubt that there will always be support for you, and you will have prosperous careers. For neither you, nor I, have done anything wrong.” <\/b><\/p>\n

I think that what Ms. Bianco needs is the support of a good lawyer. I\u2019m not familiar with the labor laws in New York, but this looks like a classic case of wrongful termination and corporate retaliation. It doesn\u2019t help ABC and CBS that they probably got the wrong person. She is certainly getting support from a large number of MSM types.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the idiots at ABC and CBS, it\u2019s unlikely that Ms. Bianco will ever be able to get a job in New York again in her chosen field. As I mentioned, I think a good lawyer can fix it so that she never has to work again, and if they go to a settlement, make sure there is no NDA for her. Next, perhaps a nice criminal investigation into the upper management of these networks. I find it interesting that they were actively protecting a convicted sex offender.<\/p>\n
