Good day all. As you may recall, last summer Alexandria Occasional-Cortex went to the southern border of the United States and made an utter fool of herself. (Big surprise) One of the things that the Progressives have been claiming is that the detention centers are overcrowded.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Well, once again the facts get in the way of the Progressives \u201cFeelz.\u201d The centers are actually almost empty. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

As the migrant crisis at the southern border<\/a> hit its peak over the summer, media outlets were filled with stories of overcrowded detention centers, adults and children living in squalid conditions, and overworked and exhausted border agents. <\/b>But now, the situation on the ground has changed significantly. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Amid a series of sweeping actions from the Trump administration \u2013 including the expansion of the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) that return migrants to Mexico to await their immigration hearings, increased cooperation with countries south of the border like Guatemala, and new border wall \u2013 apprehensions have declined dramatically by more than 70 percent since May. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Of course, every single one of those steps was fought tooth and nail by the Open Borders progressives, with several Obama judges ruling against President Trump. Of course, all those rulings were quickly tossed by the Supreme Court. The results, as stated above, can be seen. Illegal Aliens are being pushed back out of the country and the detention centers are being emptied.<\/p>\n

It means that a number of the soft-sided facilities here in Texas, which were packed during the summer, are now sparsely populated by comparison. <\/b><\/p>\n

Migrants mill around in holding areas, watching movies on big-screen TVs and playing soccer in the vast empty spaces. At a facility in Donna, Texas, which new Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf toured last week, accompanied by Fox News, there were storage units with piles of clothes, food, drinks and snacks piled high for migrants brought to the center. <\/b><\/p>\n

But, how can that be? Didn\u2019t Alexandria Occasional-Cortex break into tears saying we were running concentration camps? Wasn\u2019t she backed up by those great news services and periodicals such as MSDNC, CNN, the New York Slimes? Wasn\u2019t the Washington Compost running horror stories that the detention centers were worse then Auschwitz? Were they misrepresenting the actual facts of the matter? Say it isn\u2019t so!<\/p>\n

Rio Grande Valley Sector Chief Rodolfo Karisch told Fox News at the facility that the difference from the summer is dramatic. While agents had been apprehending 12,000 migrants per week in the sector at one point, now that rate is about 2,000 per week. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe number of people we were holding here in the summer was 9,000, and if you look through the entire sector now we only have 1,000 people in custody, so it shows how numbers have steadily declined, primarily because of the assistance we’ve received from Mexico, but also initiatives like MPP … that have reduced the flow,\u201d he said. In Donna, Karisch said roughly 400 people in custody are spread across three facilities. <\/b><\/p>\n

There is a reason for the decrease in captures. It isn\u2019t that the other 10,000 are getting through, it\u2019s that they aren\u2019t even coming now. Those that do get caught are being held only as long as it takes to process them and send them back to Mexico. Now that the pace of asylum hearings are ramped up, there is no longer a need to do \u201cCatch and release.\u201d<\/p>\n

The illegals are sent to camps in Mexico to wait their turn, and the process is moving very fast these days with most being denied. Then they get shipped back. Since the odds are no longer in their favor, the illegals are giving up and going home. One benefit is watching the ACLU tearing their collectivist hair out since President Trump has once again, beaten them at their own game.<\/p>\n

Helping capacity challenges is that, with methods in place to speed up deportations and send migrants to Mexico for their hearings or to Guatemala, the average stay for a migrant in detention is less than 60 hours, officials say. <\/b><\/p>\n

Wow, that\u2019s a much faster turn around time then I expected. Less then three days? That sort of puts the lie to the claims by the perpetually offended Socialist InJustice Warriors that we are running Nazi like concentration camps.<\/p>\n

To be sure, the detention facilities are a stark holding center for migrants. Simple mattresses line the floor, as guards stand watch over those inside. The centers are not where they wanted to end up in their journey north.<\/b><\/p>\n

Sucks to be them, doesn\u2019t it? Hey, here\u2019s an idea. Why don\u2019t you all go through the normal process of applying for immigration visas? I know a number of people who have done just that, and best of all, they\u2019re now American Citizens!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But conditions have improved, with officials pointing to the quality of care those seeking asylum in the U.S. receive. Officials say that apprehended migrants are given an initial medical screening in the field, then another when brought to the center. Migrants are then given clean clothes, while the clothes in which they arrived are washed and given back to them.<\/b><\/p>\n

Gee, according to AOC and her pals, ICE is worse then Nazis and doing the same thing. You know, taking their clothes, putting them into showers and then gassing them. Oh wait, that isn\u2019t what we do. We actually hanged a bunch of people who did just that.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe take every precaution to make sure we can care for people as best we can, showers, we\u2019ve got washing machines, pods where people are watching television while waiting for them to be transported elsewhere,\u201d Karisch said.<\/b><\/p>\n

Elsewhere is back to the Turd World hellholes they came from.<\/p>\n

There are also security measures in place, including rapid DNA testing when officials suspect that there is an instance of family fraud. <\/b><\/p>\n

“We were finding about 30 percent of individuals that were coming across with children have no family ties and often were complete strangers,” Karisch said. “At the height of the summer that number increased to about 50 percent but that has since lowered.” <\/b><\/p>\n

And there is another gaping hole blown in the Progressive Liberal Democrat narrative, that the Trump Administration is splitting up families. A lot of these kids are \u201cRentals\u201d and end up being sent back across the border for the next set of \u201cparents\u201d to use. Others are sold into sex slavery by human traffickers, something that Alexandria Occasional-Cortex and the other Progressive Liberal open borders scum deny is happening. Probably because they were getting payoffs from Jeffery (No, he didn\u2019t hang himself), Epstein.<\/p>\n

It is unlikely to stop the criticism that federal immigration authorities are facing. Democratic presidential hopefuls such as Sen. Bernie Sanders<\/a> have called for the closing of detention centers, as well as a moratorium on deportations. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is due to rule soon on MPP, which Trump administration officials have warned could spark a fresh migrant crisis if it is shut down.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Democrats want open borders for several reasons. First, they use these illegals as new voters. They make sure they only vote Democrat. Second, they want cheap labor for their donors, (Slave labor is even better as far as the Democrats are concerned) Finally, the Progressive Liberal Democrats despise Americans and the United States and want it reduced to a carbon copy of every socialist totalitarian failed state out there, and letting the trash in, (As opposed to the people who go through the process and want to succeed in America), helps them in their goal to end the United States as a free, sovereign nation.<\/p>\n

Pro-migrant and humanitarian groups also have expressed concern at sending migrants back to Mexico and Guatemala, saying this exposes them to risks of persecution and poor conditions. <\/b><\/p>\n

First, call these groups what they are. Anti-American, pro-illegal alien open borders groups. Second, who cares? I don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

In addition, there have been increasing reports of poor and squalid conditions in Mexico, suggesting to immigrant rights activists that the system has simply pushed these conditions south of the border.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Still not caring here. No one is preventing the illegals from leaving the camps and going back where they came from. We actually have a process in place to get them there. This is yet another case where President Trump is doing his best to keep a campaign promise, and this is driving the Deep State, the Uniparty, the RINO\u2019s and the Democrats insane.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is one of the real reasons they are trying to impeach President Trump. He keeps his word and all the rest of them lie through their teeth. Securing the borders is something every member of congress should be on board with. That so many aren\u2019t speaks volumes, and they should be sent packing at the next election.<\/p>\n
