<\/p>\nGood day all, and it is a good day. Last week, crooked lawyer Michael Avenatti was convicted of extortion. He is looking at over 40 years in prison.<\/p>\n

For those of you living under a rock, Avenatti was the lawyer hired by porn star Stormy Daniels in an attempt to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d Like all such attempts, it ended very badly for Stormy who, instead of getting more money from President Trump, now owes him several hundred thousand dollars.<\/p>\n
As for Avenatti, Things went rapidly downhill for him. When he was representing Daniels, he was the toast of the Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazi circles, and practically lived on CNN and MSNBC. He even announced that he would run against president Trump. Then the roof fell in on him.<\/p>\n It came out that he was basically stealing from his clients and from his law partners. He was also dead broke. In an attempt to get some money, he cooked up a plan to extort millions from Nike. Nike, rather then cave in and pay off the crooked lawyer to make him go away, called in the police. Now, Avenatti will be spending some quality time with his new prison boyfriend. Now he’s going to jail. <\/b>Former liberal media darling and frequent CNN guest Michael Avenatti<\/a> won’t be offering anti-Trump talking points on cable news anytime soon after the disgraced lawyer on Friday was found guilty of trying to extort<\/a> Nike. <\/b><\/p>\n A New York jury found Avenatti, 48, guilty on three counts, including extortion, wire fraud and transmission of interstate communications with intent to extort. He faces up to 42 years in prison and did not testify in the case against him. <\/b><\/p>\n I would have been surprised if he had testified. He knew enough to not take the stand since he\u2019s guilty, Guilty GUILTY, and adding perjury to the list of charges now facing him wouldn\u2019t have helped. (Oh yes, he\u2019s got a lot to answer for in other jurisdictions) Meanwhile, the former Toast of the Never Trump World are trying to forget that they ever knew the convicted crooked lawyer.<\/p>\n Juanita Scarlett, a former aide to Andrew Cuomo, the Democratic governor of New York and brother of CNN host Chris Cuomo, once tweeted — and then deleted \u2013 a photo of herself with Avenatti and another CNN host, Don Lemon, who apparently hosted a bash at his posh Hamptons home.<\/b><\/p>\n It\u2019s unclear how many other CNN personalities were at Lemon\u2019s \u201cSag Harbor soiree,\u201d but it was clear Avenatti had a cozy relationship with the liberal network<\/a> prior to his drastic fall from grace.<\/b><\/p>\n The reason that Avenatti was sought after by CNN can be chalked up to one Jeff Zucker, the president of CNN and noted hater of all things Donald Trump. Since Donald Trump won the election, Zucker has turned CNN into the hate Donald Trump network and has completely trashed their reputation. Since the crooked lawyer was going after President Trump, then he had to be put on the air as often as possible.<\/p>\n CNN was even accused of downplaying Avenatti\u2019s Nov. 2018<\/a> arrest and Stelter once admitted critics \u201chave a legit reason to dunk on me\u201d when he chalked up omitting a negative story about Avenatti from his newsletter to a mix up. <\/b><\/p>\n No, they were trying to figure out how they were going to bury this story and keep it from blowing back on CNN. Sorry, but you have failed epically.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter being called everything from a political and legal expert to the ‘man who could take down Trump’ and given hundreds of segments and hours of television time from both CNN and MSNBC, Michael Avenatti is headed to jail,\u201dauthor and political satirist Tim Young told Fox News. \u201cNot only has he proven himself to be a fraud, but he’s exposed the fact that these networks are willing to book literally anyone who confirms their Trump Derangement Syndrome.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Avenatti hasn’t been able to appear on CNN, or anywhere else, as he was in custody after violating bail conditions<\/a> in a federal case against him in California and was housed at Manhattan\u2019s Metropolitan Correctional Center during the trial. <\/b><\/p>\n As I recall, he ended up violating his bail conditions when he was dealing with that case and ended up being arrested on yet another crime. He\u2019s been accused of defrauding his clients, cheating his law partners and everything short of murder and running a child sex ring.
