Last week we had a minister in Louisiana refuse to follow orders and hold a church service. He was arrested and jailed. Once he got out on bond, he held another service. This isn\u2019t sitting well with a black robed judicial tyrant. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n The embattled Louisiana<\/a> pastor who repeatedly flouted social distancing measures defied house arrest<\/a> by hosting a large gathering of congregants for a Sunday service in defiance of orders to stay at home to limit the impact of the coronavirus<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n Pastor Tony Spell<\/a> of the Life Tabernacle Church in Baton Rouge was seen on a live stream Sunday walking among more than 100 congregants, often repeating the phrase, \u201cI\u2019ve just got to get to Jesus. … Come on America, let\u2019s get back to Jesus.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n Now, I am not particularly religious, certainly not to the level of Priests, Ministers and Rabbis. I have my personal beliefs and they are no one\u2019s business but mine. However, as long as you don\u2019t try to force your beliefs on me, I\u2019ll do my part to allow you to practice your faith as protected under the 1st<\/sup> Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America.<\/p>\n Sadly, we have to many black robe wearing judicial tyrants who seem to have forgotten just what the Bill of Rights says. This includes a certain judge in Louisiana.<\/p>\n Spell had been placed on house arrest at 9 a.m. Saturday, (April 25th<\/sup>) morning after refusing to tell a judge if he\u2019d continue to hold Sunday services. Facebook Live video shared by Central City News showed the pastor playing the piano surrounded by family members inside his home. A man wearing personal protective equipment had Spell sign paperwork before fitting him for an ankle monitor. <\/b><\/p>\n Tomorrow at 12 o\u2019clock, my voice will be silenced for several months,\u201d he said, referring to his normal Sunday service. \u201cYou will not hear from me again. I promise you, I will continue to do what I do. This is not about me. This is about our religious liberties.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Mr. Spell was dragged before a judge who asked him if he would follow the orders of the tyrant in chief, Governor John Bel Edwards, (D). Mr. Spell cited a bible verse as his answer, verse 1 Peter 3:14. The judge asked a second time and Mr. Spell then invoked his 5th<\/sup> Amendment right to remain silent.<\/p>\n The judge, Fred Crifasi of the 19th Judicial District Court decided that Mr. Spell\u2019s refusal to answer under the 5th<\/sup> Amendment amounted to an acknowledgment that he would ignore the order, so Mr. Spell was locked up. (So much for refusing to answer not being used against you)<\/p>\n This apparently all started when Mr. Spell was accused of trying to back over a protester with the church bus. A warrant was issued for his arrest and when he found out about it, he turned himself in. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and improper backing of a vehicle related to an incident the weekend prior.<\/p>\n Spell was reportedly filmed backing a church bus toward a protester outside the church before stopping a few feet away from him, according to local media reports. <\/b><\/p>\n What a moment. He stopped the bus before he could have run over the idiot? He stopped? Excuse me, but the last incident of this sort I heard about occurred a few months ago in Florida when some barking moonbat drove his van into a tent filled with trump supporters. He only stopped when he wanted to flip them all the bird, then drove off.<\/p>\n \u201cThat man has been in front of my church driveway for three weeks now,\u201d Spell told WAFB-TV on Monday. \u201cHe shoots people obscene finger gestures and shouts vulgarities. I was pulling in from my bus route, picking up black children who haven\u2019t eaten because of this sinister policy that has closed schools. I was going to approach this gentleman and ask him to leave.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n That doesn\u2019t sound like he was going to run him down, and frankly, backing a bus up is not the way to do it. As for the protester?<\/p>\n The protester, Trey Bennett, told the news station that he’s been demonstrating outside of the church since Easter Sunday. One of his signs reads: \u201cCAUTION: Coronavirus incubator. Do not enter. You may die.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
