Good day all. For the last few months, we have seen the governors of these United States at their best, and their worst. Mostly their worst. One of these has been Michigan governor Wretched Gretchen Whitmer, who is generally considered to be the worst governor in the country.<\/p>\n

Not to be outdone, we have a new nominee for \u201cTyrant of the Year.\u201d This would be the governor of Oregon, Kate Brown. Not only is she a Moonbat\u2019s moonbat, she also enjoys turning loose the State\u2019s various bureaucracies on small business owners who decide that defying her is better then starving to death. Here are the details from Town Hall<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Lindsey Graham, the owner of Glamour Salon in Salem, Oregon, has been harassed by numerous government agencies for reopening her salon despite Gov. Kate Brown’s (D) stay-at-home order.<\/b><\/p>\n

An aside. When I first heard about this, and saw the name of the business owner, my first thought was \u201cSince when did Senator Lindsey Graham buy a hair salon in Oregon? I thought he liked fabric shoppes?\u201d<\/p>\n

During a Friday press conference, Graham said multiple government agencies, including child protective services, have investigated her for wanting to reopen her salon and make a living. <\/b><\/p>\n

“And, if you can possibly believe this, on May 7th, Child Protective Services showed up at my home,” she said, taking a deep breath while holding back tears. “They questioned my husband and I. They questioned my child, without me present. They searched our home. And I’ve never expected such a violent, aggressive, vindictive thing ever could have been done to me or my family because I’m trying to earn a living, because I’m trying to work.”<\/b><\/p>\n

“They are still insisting that they want to talk to my three-year-old daughter,” Graham said. “So I don’t know if they’re going to try to talk to my eight-week-old newborn. We’ll see. But they did check his diaper.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Oh to be a civil rights lawyer. The list of violations is immense. This CPS raid is obviously politically motivated. But wait! There\u2019s more!!<\/p>\n

Not only did CPS come after Graham’s family but Oregon’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) slapped her with a $14,000 fine. The state’s licensing board also threatened to pull the licenses of every single stylist at the salon, which would prevent them from working at other salons throughout the state. <\/b><\/p>\n

The owner says there are 23 stylists in her salon, all independent contractors, <\/b>not <\/b><\/em>her employees. As of now, three stylists have decided to return to work. Although Graham can’t give an exact number, she estimates each stylist is seeing three to four clients per day. <\/b>Graham said she plans to stay open as long as she can manage it.<\/b><\/p>\n

“I’m bound to stay open as long as I can until the government basically tries to take my entire career, something I’ve worked 15 years for, out from underneath me,” she said. “That’s the most harmful thing they could have done and I think that’s why they did it.” <\/b><\/p>\n

“I feel persecuted by Kate Brown herself because she’s governing these agencies. She’s allowing them to target me and, if not, requesting them to target me because every agency she has underneath her has come at me at this point,” the owner said.<\/b><\/p>\n

Personally, I don\u2019t think Governor Mao<\/i><\/span> Brown is allowing it, I think she ordered the agencies to go after Ms. Graham. This is a classic case study of abuse of power. Brown is a hardcore leftist and is a hotbed of anti-trump protests. The protests were just fine with Brown<\/a> until they became so violent that it was affecting her chances for reelection in 2018. She won with 50% of the vote with her Republican challenger taking 43.9%. The rest was split among minor parties, which probably gave the election to her.<\/p>\n

The Governor is limited to two consecutive terms in office, so she will be out in 2022. Looking at her Bio on Wikitrashia<\/i><\/span> Wikipedia, it doesn\u2019t appear that she\u2019s ever held a job outside of government. Since she is term limited, she probably sees nothing wrong with crushing the constitutional rights of actual citizens and lawful resident aliens. However, being a tyrant carries a few risks. On the legal side, she\u2019s going to get sued six ways from Sunday. She could also be impeached, or recalled<\/a>. If anyone deserves removal from office, Kate Brown is high on the list.<\/p>\n
