The lockdowns ordered by the governors destroyed the best economy we\u2019ve had in probably over a century, and it\u2019s beginning to look like it was for nothing. Granted, thanks to the Chinese Government and their lackeys in the World Health Organization, we didn\u2019t have any real information to work with. The Governors were concerned that the Wuhan Flu might overwhelm the medical system.<\/p>\n
As we\u2019ve seen, the China Virus never came close to doing that. Now people are getting tired and want the country opened back up. President Trump has provided some guidelines, (Sorry Mr. President, I think we should just say \u201cOpen it up now!\u201d and call it a day), and the Red State governors have started reopening.<\/p>\n
However, we have other governors and a few mayors in blue cities and states that don\u2019t seem to actually want to get their economies back up and running. In fact, it appears that they actually want to keep people locked up under virtual house arrest. Take the mayor of Los Angeles, (Please!). He has announced that the city will remain locked up until there is a cure and\/or vaccine. He\u2019s not alone in moving the goal posts. Here are some details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n As most states<\/a> begin to move forward with measures to reopen their economies following strict lockdowns aimed at slowing the spread of the coronavirus<\/a>, some governors<\/a> and big-city mayors are now saying the restrictions will not fully be lifted until a vaccine or treatment for the disease is available \u2014 a timeline that could take a year or more. <\/b><\/p>\n That\u2019s if it ever happens. There is no guarantee that a vaccine will be developed. As for a treatment? They found something that seems to work quite well if they catch the virus before it gets in to deeply into the respiratory system. However, these mayors and governors have not only ignored these treatments, in a number of cases, they outlawed them.<\/p>\n The leaders’ comments indicate Americans could be living with orders restricting personal and economic activity for much longer than many anticipate. <\/b><\/p>\n Yeah, that\u2019s not going to happen. People are already starting to ignore the pronouncements of these jumped up little tyrants.<\/p>\n They also come after President Trump said Friday that the U.S. will reopen “vaccine or no vaccine,” and told governors in a call Monday that the federal government “will step in if we see something going wrong, or if we disagree” with how states are lifting their lockdown orders aimed at preventing the virus’ spread. <\/b><\/p>\n However, instead of accepting that it\u2019s time to open up, many of the governors who, surprisingly, are Democrats, (aka Democratic CommuNazis), are moving the goal posts and telling their subjects that they will not be allowed to return to their normal lives.<\/p>\n New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy was the latest of the state executives to make such comments in a press conference on Monday. <\/b><\/p>\n “You, too, should expect to continue with this for the foreseeable future,” Murphy said of the state’s coronavirus restrictions, as he outlined when workers might be able to get back to their offices. <\/b><\/p>\n He continued: “Until either a proven vaccine is in our midst or proven therapeutics are widely available, we cannot firmly enter the new normal, which eventually awaits us when life will once again return to all of our workplaces, downtowns and main streets. Most importantly, we will continue to be guided by the principle that public health creates economic health. And if we begin to see a backslide in public health, we will have to also pull back on the reins of our restart.” <\/b><\/p>\n Murphy\u2019s contempt for the Constitution of the United States is well documented, up to an including saying he flat out admitted he wasn\u2019t thinking about the Bill of Rights<\/a> when he ordered everyone in New Jersey to be put under House Arrest.<\/p>\n New Jersey governor Phil Murphy said he \u201cwasn\u2019t thinking of the Bill of Rights\u201d while implementing social-distancing measures \u2014 writing off any constitutional considerations as being \u201cabove [his] pay grade.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Murphy made the comments during a Fox News interview with Tucker Carlson on Wednesday, <\/b>(April 15<\/b>th<\/b><\/sup>),<\/b> night, in response to Carlson questioning the constitutionality of his executive order. \u201cThat\u2019s above my pay grade, Tucker,\u201d Murphy responded<\/a>. \u201cI wasn\u2019t thinking of the Bill of Rights when we did this. . . . We went to the scientists who said people have to stay away from each other.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Someone should explain to this scumbag that the Bill of Rights is NOT above his pay grade. He seems to have forgotten his oath of office. I do believe there is a section about upholding the Constitution of the United States in it. Frankly, he should be removed from office forthwith and possibly charged with criminal civil rights violations. The next on on the list is our old favorite, Wretched Gretchen Whitmer.<\/p>\n Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said that crowds would not be able to gather for professional or college sports in her state until a vaccine is available or there’s a rigorous testing regime in place with signs of herd immunity in the population. <\/b><\/p>\n “We’re gonna be in a new normal for quite a while. And it doesn’t mean that sports is over,” Whitmer said in a press conference Friday, mentioning a plan being pursued by the MLB to play a shortened season with no fans present.<\/strong><\/p>\n “We need a vaccine, and we need to have mass quantities available,” she continued. “Or we need to be able to test and be able to acknowledge that we’ve got some immunity that’s built up. We’re not there yet and until that happens I think all the organizers of these leagues understand how important it is that we act responsibly here.”<\/strong><\/p>\n Wretched Gretchen, and her Attorney General, Dana Nessel have just extended, in all probability illegally, the lockdown in Michigan. Further, Nessel has decided to start threatening companies like Ford for not following the orders of the governor and stating that President Trump is not welcome in the State. The response to these idiots in Michigan has been protests, and many of the protesters have been armed.<\/p>\n They are also finding out just how hard it is to keep the sheep in line when their own police force starts refusing their orders. A number of local departments and county sheriffs have said they will not enforce the orders any longer, if they did at all. (The sheriffs in particular tend to be more in tune with the constitutions of the state and federal governments) It\u2019s highly unlikely that Wretched Gretchen or Nessel will complete their terms of office, with either recall or impeachment being very high orders of probability.<\/p>\n Next we have the Mayor of Los Angeles, the incompetent Eric Garcetti. He\u2019s stated that there will be no reopening of Los Angeles for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti made similar comments in an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America<\/a>” last week. <\/b><\/p>\n “We have to all recognize that we’re not moving beyond COVID-19, we’re learning to live with it,” Garcetti said. “There’s no so-called ‘open state’ or ‘open country’ that doesn’t continue to have health orders telling us to cover our faces, physical distance and to tell people that you’re safest working from and staying at home.” <\/b><\/p>\n Garcetti continued to say that his city would not be fully open until there is a vaccine available, noting that he does not plan to have a full reopening of the city’s schools in the fall. <\/b><\/p>\n “We’ve never been fully closed, we won’t be completely open until we have a cure, but I do believe that we can take steps,” he said.<\/b><\/p>\n Yeah, about that. It seems the Department of Justice has taken notice of this loon\u2019s plans and are starting to have a few words with him. The next idiot is the Governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker.<\/p>\n Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker gave an even more dire warning during the briefing on his state’s reopening plan earlier this month, according to the Chicago Sun-Times<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n “I know that we all have a passionate desire to return to the sense of normalcy that we felt before the world knew of COVID-19. Here\u2019s the truth. And I don\u2019t like it any more than you do,” he said. “Until we have a vaccine, or an effective treatment, or enough widespread immunity that new cases fail to materialize, the option of returning to normalcy doesn\u2019t exist.”<\/b><\/p>\n Pritzker, like all the Democratic CommuNazis, is using the China Virus as a means to institute the totalitarian control they\u2019ve been working towards for decades. However, like all Democratic CommuNazis, they also are seeing their budgets explode as revenue\u2019s collapse, In the case of Illinois, their debt is so bad, that the state has a reputation of not paying it\u2019s bills.<\/p>\n Now I wold be remiss in saying that it\u2019s only the Democratic CommuNazis who are fine with tearing up the Constitution, Sadly, there are a few Deep State Uniparty RINO\u2019s who are planning on doing the same thing.<\/p>\n Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt, a Republican, told CNN’s “New Day” late last month that he has qualms about opening up his city any time before there is a vaccine or medicine available to combat the coronavirus. <\/b><\/p>\n “Until there is a vaccine or a proven treatment, I am not going to be comfortable about this transition,” Holt said. “On the other hand, we can’t shelter in place forever.” <\/b><\/p>\n Holt said that despite a reopening date set by Oklahoma Gov.
