Good day all. Now that Seattle has started cleaning out the vermin infested area known as CHOP, the businesses in the area are now looking at all the damage that was done and are demanding to be compensated.<\/p>\n

This has led to the filing of a number of lawsuits against the City for their failure to actually do their jobs and protect the area. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Numerous Seattle<\/a> businesses \u2013 including an auto repair shop, a tattoo parlor and a property management company \u2013 sued the city Wednesday, alleging city officials were complicit in allowing an \u201coccupied protest\u201d that has made them feel unsafe in their neighborhood, according to reports. <\/b><\/p>\n

Workers and residents also joined the lawsuit over CHOP, the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest, which drew scorn from President Trump<\/a> and other critics who accused Mayor Jenny Durkan, the city\u2019s police chief and other city leaders of turning the area over to \u201canarchists.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

It wasn’t just \u201cAnarchists,\u201d but a large criminal element. There were a few clowns in there running protection rackets. I believe it was \u201cPay us $500 or the windows get it!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c(T)his lawsuit is about the constitutional and other legal rights of plaintiffs \u2013 businesses, employees and residents in and around CHOP \u2013 which have been overrun by the city of Seattle\u2019s unprecedented decision to abandon and close off an entire city neighborhood, leaving it unchecked by the police, unserved by fire and emergency health services and inaccessible to the public at large,\u201d the lawsuit says, Q13 FOX reported<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

And the results were as expected. A massive surge in violence and criminal activities, including murder and I think at least one rape. This is the usual results of Progressive Liberal government. Criminals run rampant and the honest people get shafted.<\/p>\n

One local business owner, Joey Rodolfo of Buki clothing, told \u201cFox & Friends\u201d this week that he plans to move out of state because of what he described as Seattle\u2019s lack of governmental leadership. <\/b><\/p>\n

“Since we have no leadership and we have a city council that’s so socialist<\/a>, there really is very, very little support for businesses,\u201d Rodolfo said<\/a>. \u201cAs far as the city reaching out to small businesses like ourselves, or any business, there has been zero.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Of course they won’t reach out to you. People like Kshama Sawant consider you to be the enemy. She would be perfectly fine rounding up all the business owners and sending them off to gulags to be killed as enemies of the state.<\/p>\n

The plaintiffs allege that city leaders provided the demonstrators with barriers, public restrooms and medical supplies \u2013 in effect supporting the occupation of the neighborhood and hindering the efforts of local businesspeople, employees and residents to reach their buildings, receive deliveries and provide services, the Seattle Times reported. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe result of the City\u2019s actions has been lawlessness,\u201d Calfo Eakes LLP, the law firm representing the plaintiffs, told the Times in a statement. \u201cThere is no public safety presence. Police officers will not enter the area unless it is a life-or-death situation, and even in those situations, the response is delayed and muted, if it comes at all.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

And several people died as a result. As for the mayor, Pickles Durkan, she finally figured out it was time to close this thing down once she was targeted by the criminal elements, Antifa and BLM.<\/p>\n

Facing mounting pressure, Durkan on Monday said the city would begin dismantling the blocks-long occupied area \u2013 claiming the crimes and other violence in the zone were distracting from the message that peaceful protesters tried to communicate when they established the occupation, Q13 FOX reported<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe cumulative impacts of the gatherings and protests and the nighttime atmosphere and violence has led to increasingly difficult circumstances for our businesses and residents,\u201d Durkan said. \u201cThe impacts have increased and the safety has decreased.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Some of that \u201cMounting pressure\u201d was coming from Washington D.C. President Trump was being pushed to declare martial law, send int troops and remove the city government. He chose, wisely, to berate the moonbats and morons running Washington State and the city of Seattle.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will tell you, if they don\u2019t straighten that situation out, we’re going to straighten it out,\u201d Trump said June 11<\/a>, in an interview that aired on \u201cOutnumbered Overtime\u201d in its entirety the next day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a social media message posted Wednesday, addressed to \u201cComrades in the struggle,\u201d CHOP organizers declared their \u201cproject\u201d concluded<\/a>, and urged demonstrators to leave by Wednesday night.<\/b><\/p>\n

Concluded is a nice way of saying cleared out by police who had enough of these precious snowflakes and went in with everything they needed to bulldoze their little \u201cproject\u201d into the Pacific Ocean. Now Seattle is going to be dealing with the fallout. I expect that the next election is going to bring some pointed changes to the city council and the mayors office.<\/p>\n

On top of that, businesses, large and small have had enough and are leaving the state, taking their taxes with them. The city is going to find out what happens when you run out of other people’s money. Seattle has a good chance of failing as badly as Detroit has. Perhaps the Cascadia Fault-line will finally let go and put Seattle out of America’s misery.<\/p>\n
