Good day all. Friday, (July 10th<\/sup>), President Trump commuted the sentence of Roger Stone. Within seconds, the Democrats and their RINO Never Trump Fellow Travelers started screaming \u201cInvestigation!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Roger Stone was convicted of witness tampering obstruction and lying to congress was scheduled to be incarcerated in a few days. With the commutation of the sentence, Stone isn\u2019t going to be jailed. The Democrats have, as usual, promised deep investigations. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

House Democrats reacted furiously to President Trump\u2019s Friday move to commute the prison sentence of political operative Roger Stone<\/a> — demanding an investigation and even legislation to stop similar commutations happening again. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Trump\u2019s decision to commute the sentence of top campaign advisor Roger Stone, who could directly implicate him in criminal misconduct, is an act of staggering corruption,\u201d House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said in a statement on Saturday.<\/b><\/p>\n

She went on to promise that Congress would \u201ctake action\u201d to prevent future such commutations: \u201cLegislation is needed to ensure that no President can pardon or commute the sentence of an individual who is engaged in a cover-up campaign to shield that President from criminal prosecution.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

As usual, San Fran Nan\u2019s utter and complete contempt for the constitution is on full display. The simple fact of the matter is, presidents of the United States have the constitutional power to grant pardons, and reprieves. It\u2019s under Article 2, Section 2 of the Constitution. Pelosi\u2019s threat to take this power away from President Trump will require a constitutional amendment, and that isn\u2019t happening.<\/p>\n

Stone, who has appealed the conviction and denies wrongdoing, was due to report to prison on July 14 to serve 40 months. But the White House said the president had commuted the sentence \u201cin light of the egregious facts and circumstances surrounding his unfair prosecution, arrest, and trial.”<\/b><\/p>\n

This presents an interesting question. Roger Stone has appealed the conviction. Considering the actions of the Judge in the case, not to mention the blatant attempted coup against President Trump, does this appeal continue? I\u2019ll let those far better versed in how these work add to out comments. As to why to commutation?<\/p>\n

\u201cRoger Stone is a victim of the Russia Hoax that the Left and its allies in the media perpetuated for years in an attempt to undermine the Trump Presidency,\u201d White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement Friday night. \u201cThere was never any collusion between the Trump Campaign, or the Trump Administration, with Russia. Such collusion was never anything other than a fantasy of partisans unable to accept the result of the 2016 election.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

This hasn\u2019t stopped the traitors in the Democrat Party from demanding answers and making threats.<\/p>\n

In a statement, both Nadler and House Oversight Committee Chair Carolyn Maloney, D-NY, said they intend to seek \u201can immediate briefing from the White House Counsel on the circumstances surrounding Roger Stone\u2019s commutation.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition, the Department of Justice should release grand jury materials related to Roger Stone and his communications with the President,\u201d the statement said. <\/b><\/p>\n

I believe they\u2019ve tried to get access to grand jury material in other cases and been told that the answer is no. As to explaining the reasons for the commutation, perhaps these losers should try reading the news. President Trump was his usual plain talking, blunt self.<\/p>\n

Another thing to consider is that this wasn\u2019t a pardon, but a commutation. For all intents and purposes, Roger Stone is still a convicted felon, which is why I\u2019m wondering what happens to his appeals. Hopefully, he can continue his appeal, and since we\u2019ve seen just how deep the corruption was in the FBI and Department of Justice, not to mention the Mueller Inquisition, I\u2019d say he would have a good chance at winning it. There was also the actions of U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson. She is yet another Obama judge, and they\u2019ve shown their willingness to rig cases against President Trump and his friends.<\/p>\n
