Well, after decades of mismanagement and incompetence, that is now happening in New York. Taxes have been skyrocketing, regulations are essentially totalitarian and the richest group of people have said \u201cFuck this, I\u2019m outta here.\u201d Now the governor of New York, Andrew \u201cFlaming\u201d Cuomo is visiting all the rich people and begging them to come back and be soaked some more. Here are the details from the Daily Wire<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has been visiting New Yorkers who fled the state during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, begging them to return to the state from Connecticut and other second-home locations after admitting the \u201cone percent\u201d pay a shocking 50% of state taxes. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cGov. Andrew Cuomo has been begging rich people to return to New York City from their second-home retreats so they can pay taxes to help offset the state\u2019s growing coronavirus-related revenue shortfall,\u201d the New York Post reported<\/a> Tuesday. <\/b><\/p>\n

Even those who simply relocated to more bucolic surroundings inside New York state are being asked to return to New York City because taxpayers in NYC pay an additional state tax \u201csurcharge\u201d for the privilege of living in Manhattan. <\/b><\/p>\n

Cuomo\u2019s even offering perks. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI literally talk to people all day long who are now in their Hamptons house who also lived here, or in their Hudson Valley house, or in their Connecticut weekend house, and I say, \u2018You got to come back! We\u2019ll go to dinner! I\u2019ll buy you a drink! Come over, I\u2019ll cook!\u2019\u201d Cuomo said at a press conference late Monday. <\/b><\/p>\n
