Good day all. A few days ago President Donald Trump was nominated, for the second time, for the Nobel Peace Prize. In response, the Progressive liberal publication, The Atlantic, called for an end to the Nobel Peace Prize.<\/p>\n

Recently, the Atlantic, which is owned by the Emerson Collective<\/a>, which in turn was founded and is run by the widow of Steve Jobs, one Lauren Powell Jobs<\/a>, ran a fake news piece accusing President Trump of denigrating American Soldiers. The piece, which I haven\u2019t written about, (And really don\u2019t plan to), used an \u201cAnonymous Source,\u201d and was very quickly shot to pieces by people who were actually there with President Trump, including John Bolton. (Who is no longer a fan of President Trump) Basically, The Atlantic is nothing more then a hard left propaganda organ for the Democrat Party.<\/p>\n

Which brings us to their latest bit of stupidity. Last week, news came out that President Trump was being nominated for Nobel Peace Prize<\/a> for the second time. This came as a shock to the Deep State Progressive Liberal Democrat Elites, especially the Morons at the Atlantic. In response, they decided that the best approach was the \u201cSour Grapes\u201d method. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Atlantic magazine<\/a> raised eyebrows on Friday when it published a piece calling for the abolition of the Nobel Peace Prize after President Trump<\/a> was nominated for the prestigious honor. <\/b><\/p>\n

The president’s name was submitted for the 2021 prize by Norwegian lawmaker Christian Tybring-Gjedde, who cited Trump’s role in brokering a peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Trump has since earned a second nomination from Swedish lawmaker Magnus Jacobsson for overseeing an economic deal between Kosovo and Serbia<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

The nominations, however, apparently didn’t sit well with the liberal magazine, which declared Friday that “peace had its chance, and blew it.<\/b><\/p>\n

Oh this should be good. I do like reading a good fantasy piece now and then.<\/p>\n

“If Trump wins the prize, it will be the fourth Nobel awarded for peace between Israel and its neighbors,” wrote Atlantic staff writer Graeme Wood. “That will make Arab-Israeli peace mediators more successful at charming the Nobel Committee than the International Committee of the Red Cross, which has won three times in the prize\u2019s 120-year history, but still less successful than my favorite, which is no one at all.<\/b><\/p>\n

“Giving the peace prize to no one at all is a tradition the Nobel Committee should revive, perhaps on a permanent basis,” Wood added. “The record of achievement of the peace laureates is so spotty, and the rationales for their awards so eclectic, that the committee should take a long break to consider whether peace is a category coherent enough to be worth recognizing. Peace had its chance, and blew it. The Trump nomination … helps show why.” <\/b><\/p>\n

There is so much here it\u2019s hard to know where to begin. First, let\u2019s consider the President that the Atlantic truly worshiped, President Barack \u201cNo group\u2019s to small, I\u2019ll drone them all!\u201d Obama who was awarded the Nobel peace Prize for one reason. He wasn\u2019t George W. Bush. Second, President Trump and his foreign policy team has managed to get true enemies talking to each other. He didn\u2019t try the usual Globalist goal of trying to solve everything at once. He took small steps. Find something that the two sides have in common and go from there.<\/p>\n

In the eyes of the Progressive Globalist Elites just keeping two sides from shooting at each other is a bad thing. They want regime change, they want their idea of democracy and they don\u2019t care what the leaders of the nations involved, let alone the population might desire.<\/p>\n

Wood described Tybring-Gjedde’s nomination of Trump “preposterous,” saying the president’s “main diplomatic maneuver is to adopt a lickspittle posture toward authoritarians, promising them decades in power in return for a smile and a condo development. Peace does not mean a web of personal agreements between rich psychopaths.”<\/b><\/p>\n

So you mean people like those running the various tech industries like Google, Apple, Facebook and Twitter? You don\u2019t seem to have any problem with those people running things. Oh wait! I forgot, the owner of the Atlantic is one of them, isn\u2019t she?<\/p>\n

“By now the contradictions of the peace prize should be apparent,” he added. “Is it given for peace, or for rumors of peace? Do you deserve a prize for maintaining despots, as long as the despots are part of a stable network? Is it given for accidentally wrecking a great military \u2014 or only if the destruction is intentional? What if you do all the right things, but you are a boor, or an alleged rapist?”<\/b><\/p>\n

I think I see what you want. You want people you don\u2019t like removed and replaced with people you personally do like. Obviously, you don\u2019t have any idea how diplomacy works. You aren\u2019t there to negotiate the removal of a leader or leaders, you\u2019re there to end a war or stop one from happening in the first place. Only Progressive Globalists think that a leader should be removed because they don\u2019t like them. (Usually because they tell the progressive idiots to go take a long walk off a short pier)<\/p>\n

When this story first came out, many people thought it was a joke. No one thought that anyone in their right mind would say that since President Trump was nominated, then the Nobel peace Prize should be ended. They soon discovered that the Moonbats at the Atlantic weren\u2019t joking.<\/p>\n

The article was greeted with incredulity and criticism on social media.<\/b><\/p>\n

No, Really?<\/p>\n

“I don’t expect the media to like Trump and don’t care about the Nobel, but the hostility here is discrediting,” RealClearInvestigations senior writer Mark Hemingway reacted. <\/b><\/p>\n

“The liberal media are having a mental meltdown over Trump\u2019s 2 Nobel Peace Prize nominations,” NewsBusters analyst Nicholas Fondacaro tweeted. <\/b><\/p>\n

“Is this a parody account,” Newsweek opinion editor Josh Hammer asked. <\/b><\/p>\n

Sheesh! When you have Newsweek asking if this is a joke, you know that you have jumped the shark.<\/p>\n

“This is silly. Trump does something worthy of it, so the entire system must be burned down?” tweeted Erielle Davidson, a senior policy analyst at the Jewish Institute for National Security of America.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basically, in the minds of the Progressive Liberal Elite, yes, torch it and hope they don\u2019t accidentally set any more of Kalifornistan ablaze.<\/p>\n

“I thought people were just trolling the Atlantic when they were saying they\u2019re calling for the end of the Nobel Peace Prize in response to Trump being nominated for 2, but alas, nope: it is real,” Daily Wire contributor Harry Khachatrian said.<\/b><\/p>\n

Even the Babylon Bee<\/a> couldn\u2019t have come up with anything this ridiculous. (Which is why sites like the Babylon Bee and the Onion have problems. Reality is more ridiculous then the satire they generate) The Atlantic thought they were going to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d with their fake hit piece saying President Trump was disparaging the troops. Even with the collusion of the MSM and the Joe \u201cPleased Dementia\u201d Biden campaign, it\u2019s collapsed. The announcement of the nomination has driven the publisher and staff completely around the bend. Now if President Trump should actually win the Nobel Peace Prize, especially after he\u2019s reelected, I expect the Suicide hot lines to be lit up with calls from Atlantic employees.<\/p>\n
