The problem with these mandates and the masks, is that it doesn\u2019t appear to actually do what the government uber alles claims they do, which is stop the airborne transmission of a virus. There have been any number of studies debunking the myth that masks actually do anything, with several done prior to the Great Panicdemic of 2020, and a number of others since then. However, the authors of these studies aren\u2019t able to get anything published. Here are the details from Just the News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n A major study out of Denmark that sought to examine the efficacy of face masks at limiting the spread of COVID-19 has reportedly been rejected by multiple academic journals amid hints that the study found face coverings are not effective in protecting individuals from the coronavirus. <\/b><\/p>\n Masks have been among the most persistent and controversial flashpoints of the COVID-19 epidemic for months. Health officials around the world initially argued strongly against their use, claiming that studies over the years had demonstrated that masks were ineffective at stopping respiratory viruses and unnecessary for the current pandemic. <\/b><\/p>\n In spite of their now-ubiquitous presence in most of the Western world today, relatively little evidence exists to support widespread use of face-masking to prevent the spread of respiratory disease. A 2019 World Health Organization review of pandemic mitigation measures, for instance, found “no evidence”<\/a> that face coverings helped to stop the spread of influenza.<\/b><\/p>\n Of course, when the WHO says something that goes against what the Ruling Elites want, they are ignored. Of course, when they say that \u201cOh no! There is not problem in China, and Covid-19 is a fantasy.\u201d they\u2019re pronouncements are accepted uncritically and anyone who questions them will face the wrath of Progressive Social Justice Warriors and be censored on Zuckbook and twatter. The also won\u2019t be published in scientific journals if they announce that the world is round and not flat as everyone knows.<\/p>\n A <\/b>team of Danish scientists earlier this year sought to carry out a major randomized controlled trial study<\/a> to determine how effective masks might be at stopping COVID transmission. The study, begun in April, involved around 6,000 Danish citizens, half of whom wore face coverings during “normal behavior” and the other half of whom went without them.<\/b><\/p>\n The study concluded in June. Yet the Copenhagen newspaper Berlingske reported this week<\/a> that it has been rejected by at least three elite medical journals so far \u2014 the Lancet, the New England Journal of Medicine, and JAMA, the Journal of the American Medical Association.<\/b><\/p>\n “They all said no,” Christian Torp-Pederson, one of the study’s researchers, told the Danish newspaper this week. He added that the study’s scientists “cannot start discussing what [the journals] are dissatisfied with, because in that case we must also explain what the study showed, and we do not want to discuss that until it is published.” <\/b><\/p>\n And this is a classic case of \u201cCatch 22<\/a>.\u201d They can\u2019t talk about the study, including their methodology until they are published, yet they wont\u2019 be published until they talk about their methodology.<\/p>\n The paper’s lack of publication thus far is not, on its face, unheard of. Peer review \u2014 the process by which independent experts analyze, criticize and edit scientific papers prior to publication in official journals \u2014 can take several months or more from start to finish.<\/b><\/p>\n Which, of course, makes perfect sense, except for a few small details. The Ruling Elite have Decreed that Mask are good and shall be worn or else! There will be no dissent or argument!<\/p>\n Yet there have been indications that the study may be ruffling feathers among medical officials and researchers, with some of the study’s directors suggesting, cryptically, that its results may run against the grain of current public orthodoxy on mask usage.<\/p>\n Responding to a query last week about when the study will be published, one of its researchers \u2014 University of Copenhagen infectious disease Professor Thomas Benfield \u2014 replied<\/a>: “As soon as a journal is brave enough to accept the paper.” <\/b><\/p>\n In later response, it looks like they tried to walk back the statement that they were being suppressed.<\/p>\n Benfield in a later interview with Berlingske warned against taking that quote “out of context,” stating: “The article is being reviewed by a respected journal.” <\/b><\/p>\n Another one of the study’s authors, Christian Torp-Pedersen, told the Copenhagen newspaper that he “might also have dared to go as far as Benfield” regarding Benfield’s response. Asked by the paper if the study’s results could be considered “controversial,” he said: “That’s how I want to interpret it.”<\/b><\/p>\n Of course, studies like this have to be reviewed, and if any holes in the methodology are found, have to be filled and corrections made. This is where things get down into the mud of minutia, and frankly, I am not qualified to say yay or nay. However, this is just one study, and there have been others done before this nonsense started.<\/p>\n Proponents of masks have argued that widespread usage of face coverings will significantly reduce COVID-19 caseloads and death tolls. The University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation said in a paper published this week<\/a> that “universal mask use” could prevent an additional 129,574 deaths throughout the United States by February.<\/b><\/p>\n The current statistics on people who have died are now being seriously questioned for several reasons. A big one is the number of people who died of things like car accidents, heart attacks, and flat out gunshots who were listed as having died of the China Flu. They are not making any distinction between people who died of nothing else BUT the China Virus and those who had other issues that severely weakened their immune systems. The last I heard, the CDC has changed the numbers saying about 7-8000 people had died of the Corona virus as opposed to having the Conronavirus.<\/p>\n Conversely, numerous countries across the world that have mandated the use of face masks in public have recently seen infection rates soar. Both Germany and Spain, for instance, have had mask mandates in place for months, yet both<\/a> countries<\/a> have seen recent sharp resurgences in new COVID-19 cases over the last several weeks.<\/b><\/p>\n Now isn\u2019t that interesting? I would have thought that if people were forced to wear masks, essentially at gunpoint, then they would all be safe and protected. Now how is it that the rates are climbing? And, of course, there are a few other things, like how many of those testing positive are asymptomatic, or have just minor symptoms, verses how many actually end up in the hospital? They also aren\u2019t talking about the Hydroxychloroquine, zinc and antibiotic treatments that seem to knock the China Virus down if administered early.<\/p>\n It\u2019s going to take a few years, but when this is all said and done, the Coronavirus is going to come out as the biggest health fraud in decades. I\u2019ve known for some time that it\u2019s all been political and has nothing to do with actual health. Most of the ruling elite see this as a way to secure absolute power and to put the serfs back in their places.
