Good day all. As you may have noticed, everyone at Anger Central is militant when it comes to the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment. We believe it means exactly what it says, that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall NOT be infringed.<\/p>\n

However, the Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazis have a long history of trying to suppress the right of the individual to have the means to defend themselves, their families and their neighbors from predators, be they four legged or 2 legged. However, the riots and insurrections by the Antifa and BCLOM groups, along with the Progressive Liberal Blue city mayors pulling back the police, have shown many people that when it comes to protection, they need to forget about the government and rely on themselves.<\/p>\n

Because of this, along with the overrated fear of the China Virus, people started buying guns and ammunition. It wasn\u2019t just the usual people making the purchases, millions of first time gun buyers also discovered the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment. (And a lot of them had probably been all for suppressing it until last spring) Now the numbers are coming in and sales records have been shattered. Here are the details from Just the News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Gun-buying activity shattered records in the U.S. this year, with the Federal Bureau of Investigation recording both the highest number of background checks in its history and the highest increase of checks year-over-year in over two decades. <\/b><\/p>\n

Last month was the busiest November on record for FBI background checks in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, according to the Bureau’s month-by-month data.<\/a> Background checks were up 40% from the prior November, with over 3.6 million checks performed throughout the month.<\/b><\/p>\n

Now consider the following. When a background check is submitted, it isn\u2019t per gun. If a person is buying multiple firearms, say a pistol, rifle and shotgun, that all counts as one background check. So if there were 3.6 million background checks, then at least 3.6 million guns were sold, probably a lot more. (FYI, I own stock in Smith & Wesson and Sturm Ruger)<\/p>\n

That number would be remarkable during any other year. Only one other month in NICS history prior to this year, December 2015, has broken three million. Yet November was only the fourth-busiest month for background checks during 2020 overall. In June, the FBI recorded 3,931,607 total checks, nearly topping 4,000,000 checks in a month for the first time and handily beating the previous monthly record of 3,740,688 checks set in March.<\/b><\/p>\n

March was when the governors decided to suspend the Constitution, declare martial law, and put the entire country under house arrest. A few governors also tried to ban gun and ammunition sales. (Care to guess the party they belong to?) FFL dealers were quickly declared a \u201cCritical business\u201d and remained open. (Much to the anger of Michael Bloomberg) Now the reason for the increase in checks in June is simple. The thugs from Antifa and the BCLOM groups started looting, rioting and burning, and the mayors of the affected cities refused to do anything to stop them.<\/p>\n

The June record-breaker came amid widespread rioting, violence and unrest throughout the country driven by Black Lives Matter-led protests following the death in late May of black Minneapolis resident George Floyd while in the custody of police.<\/b><\/p>\n

The officers involved are going on trial, however, it looks like this might have been a political prosecution rather then one based on evidence. The autopsy report on Floyd showed that there were no injuries to his neck and that he had a lethal dose of Fentanyl in his system. Basically he was a walking dead man.<\/p>\n

Overall, the FBI has recorded 35,758,249 background checks so far this year, a provisional number that is already 26% higher than last year’s total of nearly 28,400,000. That’s the second-highest percentage increase in the 21-year history of the NICS. (The only larger increase came in 2000, the first full year of the program’s existence, when checks increased by nearly 1,000% as the system became fully incorporated into the U.S. gun economy.) <\/b><\/p>\n

That number is certain to grow even larger: The present total of checks in 2020 does not include December’s numbers. Historical data indicate that December’s checks tend to be elevated relative to the rest of the year.<\/b><\/p>\n

Now there will be people who fail the background checks. There are a few reasons for this. First, bad information in the system. I know of someone who, because of identity theft, will always fail the check. He carries a letter from his District Attorney clearing him to buy. Others might be in the system for something they did, and they didn\u2019t realize they had lost their 2nd<\/sup> Amendment rights. (There are cases regarding this moving to the Supreme Court now) Finally, you have actual criminals who are to stupid to tie their own shoes, and who think that they can lie on the forms and sneak past the background check system. They usually end up in jail very quickly.<\/p>\n

The National Shooting Sports Foundation reported in June<\/a> that gun retailers estimated 40% of their sales during the first four months of the year went to first-time gun owners, and that nearly half of those first-time buyers were women, both notable upticks. <\/b><\/p>\n

“The main purchase driver among the group was personal protection, followed by target shooting and hunting,” the group said.<\/b><\/p>\n

These first time buyers generally have no real idea about guns. They have done research, talked to FFL dealers, (Federal Firearms License), and people they know who do own guns. Many went to a range with someone and tried firing a few rounds to get the feel of handling a firearm. Once they decided to go ahead, they arranged to be properly trained by certified instructors. They also discovered something that long time gun owners have known for years. Getting a gun isn\u2019t as easy as the Progressives and the media like to say it is.<\/p>\n

High gun-buying and gun-owning activity has even been observed in areas of the country where it has historically been low. The New York Post this week reported<\/a> that gun-permit applications in New York City were up threefold since March relative to last year, though the approval rate of those applications was significantly lower both in relative and absolute terms. <\/b><\/p>\n

The NYPD approved applications at a rate of 14% this year compared to 70% last year, the Post reported, signing off on just 1,087 applications compared to 1,778 last year. New York City is famous within gun circles for its notably restrictive gun ownership policies, a distinction it shares with numerous other large cities nationwide.<\/b><\/p>\n

New York is one of the Blue States that has basically stripped the Right to Keep and Bear Arms away from their residents. You have to get permission beforehand to buy and possess a gun. As to carrying it? You can pretty much forget about that. These states, do not want the serfs and peons to have the means to defend themselves from either criminals or from the depredations of a corrupt, tyrannical government. (The reason for the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment was to give the people the tools they need to remove a tyrannical government, along with defending the country, their states and homes from Indians and foreign invaders)<\/p>\n

The Fake President-Elect has announced that he intends to confiscate people\u2019s guns and prevent people from having the means to protect themselves. He is surrounding himself with minions who are flat out saying they will send out Federal Agents if people don\u2019t turn in their guns. I have to assume they haven\u2019t read these statistics, or if they have, are simply discounting them. They really should give up their goal of gun bans and confiscations. These numbers, along with the numbers going back to the Obama regime should indicate that the American People have decided on gun control. If It doesn\u2019t involve handling firearms in a safe manner, they are against it.<\/p>\n
