Good day all. Since the Great Election Theft of 2020, the Socialist Media companies have been moving to suppress any discussion that they do not approve of. Various media companies other then the Mostly Stupid Media, (Newsmax for instance), have been doing some actual reporting on the apparent election fraud. Well, as expected, this has caught the attention of that blithering idiot, Alexandria Occasional Cortex.<\/p>\n

In response to this, AOC has decided that the time is right to start censoring news stories. Here are some of the details from Fox News<\/b><\/i>:<\/p>\n

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that Congress is “looking into” media literacy initiatives to help “rein in” the press to combat misinformation in the wake of last week\u2019s deadly breach of the U.S. Capitol. <\/b><\/p>\n

During a lengthy live stream on Instagram on Tuesday night, the leader of the so-called “Squad” discussed the aftermath of the Capitol riot, how she feared for her life during the chaos and what needs to be done going forward. <\/b><\/p>\n

And what does this mental midget think needs to be done, other then her resigning her seat?<\/p>\n

At one point, Ocasio-Cortez read a question from a viewer who asked if there is discussion in Congress on “truth and reconciliation or media literacy initiatives” to help with healing. <\/b><\/p>\n

“I can say, there is absolutely a commission being discussed but it seems to be more investigatory, in style rather than truth and reconciliation, so I think that\u2019s an interesting concept for us to explore, and I do think that several members of Congress, in some of my discussions, have brought up media literacy because that is a part of what happened here and we\u2019re going to have to figure out how we rein in our media environment so that you can\u2019t just spew disinformation and misinformation,” Ocasio-Cortez said.<\/b><\/p>\n

“It\u2019s one thing to have differentiating opinions but it\u2019s another thing entirely to just say things that are false,” she continued. “So that\u2019s something that we\u2019re looking into.” <\/b><\/p>\n

And that ripping sound you hear was the sound of the 1st<\/sup> Amendment being shredded.<\/p>\n

Ocasio-Cortez also told followers that she thought she might die during a “traumatizing” close encounter amid the chaos of the deadly riot. <\/b><\/p>\n

“I can tell you that I had a very close encounter where I thought I was going to die,” she said. “And you have all of those thoughts where, at the end of your life\u2026all of these thoughts come rushing to you. And that\u2019s what happened to a lot of us on Wednesday and I did not think \u2013 I did not know if I was going to make it to the end of that day alive.” <\/b><\/p>\n

As much as I enjoyed watching those arrogant meatheads cowering under their seats, there was never any risk to their actual safety. These were people who were very angry of course, but they didn\u2019t go in to hang the lot of you, no matter how much you deserve it. They would have gotten into your face and told you off, without a doubt. If they had actually intended to kill you, you would be quite dead.<\/p>\n

In any case, Occasional-Cortex\u2019s idea of a \u201ctruth commission\u201d went over like a lead balloon. In a follow up story on Fox News<\/b><\/i>, the various Media organs let fly at her.<\/p>\n

Media watchdogs are shocked and appalled that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that Congress is looking into media literacy initiatives, including a commission to help “rein in” misinformation in the wake of last week\u2019s deadly breach of the U.S. Capitol \u2013 and one critic slammed AOC\u2019s suggestion as “wholly un-American.” <\/b><\/p>\n

“Fox & Friends” anchor Steve Doocy said he was “a little troubled” by Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s suggestion and enlisted The Hill media columnist Joe Concha to help figure out who would decide what media gets reined in under the progressive lawmaker\u2019s plan. <\/b><\/p>\n

“Let\u2019s unpack this proposal, she wants to basically establish a Ministry of Truth, we\u2019ve all read \u20181984\u2019 and, you know, to determine what is truth and what is not. So who sits on this committee exactly? Eric Swalwell? Adam Schiff? Because they seem to have some challenges when it comes to telling the truth,” Concha said. <\/b><\/p>\n

First, this is America. We don\u2019t have governmental ministries, we have bureaus and departments. I suspect AOC wants to set up the \u201cDepartment of Truth\u201d with full censorship abilities. I also suspect that she wants to put someone who is an expert at this sort of thing in charge, perhaps Jack Dorsey from Twitler or Mark Zuckerberg from Faceplant. They seem very good and suppressing speech they don\u2019t approve of.<\/p>\n

Concha feels it\u2019s “stunning” that Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s statement hasn\u2019t received more attention. But one person who took notice was conservative columnist David Harsanyi, who penned a New York Post opinion piece<\/a> headlined, “AOC and other progressives have a new goal: Silence the press. <\/b><\/p>\n

“Perhaps in the political systems favored by AOC citizens are impelled to look to government for ultimate truth, but that\u2019s not the case in the United States. At least, not yet. Here, the Constitution \u2018reins in\u2019 Congress from intruding on the speech of citizens, journalists, or any private institutions, not the other way around,” Harsanyi wrote. “As a practical matter, we can already envision from \u2018lived experienced\u2019 \u2014 as a progressive might say \u2014 how sanctioning the state to adjudicate the veracity of journalism can be abuse.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Alexandria Occasional-Cortex and the rest of the Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazis have no problem with suppressing the \u201cWrong sort of media.\u201d She would only allow the \u201cApproved\u201d media to provide the information the Ruling Elite thinks should be made public.<\/p>\n

“Has anyone ever proposed a truth commission to heal the nation from those wounds? This kind of state intrusion into discourse \u2014 on whatever level AOC envisions it \u2014 would, like all other facets of society lorded over by Congress, inevitably lead to giant rent-seeking corporations like CNN, ABC, NBC, Washington Post, The New York Times, gaining favor with government and consolidating power,” Harsanyi wrote.<\/b><\/p>\n

Gaining favor? Those scions of \u201cJournalistic integrity\u201d could more rightly be called the CommuNazi Propaganda Corps. For the last 4 years, actually for a lot longer then that, they have been shilling for the Democrats and flat out lying to the American people. When Fox News came on the scene and started actually reporting actual news, the traditional Main Stream Media went off the deep end.<\/p>\n

Of course, now that Rupert Murdoch handed over the reigns to his Woke Spoiled Brats, they took a successful news service and cratered it. The ratings for Fox, excluding the evening commentary shows have cratered.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s just creepy, not to mention wholly un-American, for an elected official to advocate the state as adjudicator of veracity of our political speech. It\u2019s also crassly hypocritical. If anyone could use a truth commission, it\u2019s Congress,” Harsanyi concluded. <\/b><\/p>\n

Tammy Bruce, one of the better commentators and contributors to Fox News also let fly and that idiot\u2019s suggestion that censorship was the way to go.<\/p>\n

“When she was talking about media literacy I thought she was talking about herself and about the Democrats in general. Look, they\u2019ve already got the commission, it\u2019s called the legacy media,” Bruce said Thursday on “Fox & Friends.” <\/b><\/p>\n

“They already obey\u2026 they\u2019re an arm of the Democratic Party,” Bruce said. “What they\u2019re talking about are dissenters, talking about arguments like this\u2026 a conversation that critiques and dissents within the framework of what they\u2019re doing but it also exposes, doesn\u2019t it, the idea of the power that they think they have. That this is now what their job is. Their job, instead of this kind of garbage, is to try and convince Democrat governors to distribute the damn vaccine.” <\/b><\/p>\n

AOC is not the brightest bulb in the lamp. Actually, her filament burned out a long time ago. She\u2019s lived in her little socialist bubble for so long that she flat out doesn\u2019t understand that people will not allow her to impose her failed ideas on them. Sadly, the Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazi\u2019s are going to go full bore stupid over the next few months, doing everything they can to strip away the rights of the people. Their like minded moonbats on the coasts will cheer them on, but the rest of the people in Flyover Country are definitely going to have a say in all this. I somehow doubt that it will be words next time.<\/p>\n
