Good day all. The fallout from the latest failed attempt to \u201cGET TRUMP!\u201d has started. A number of Deep State Uniparty RINO\u2019s voted to both impeach the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald J. Trump, and then convict him in the unconstitutional trial in the Senate. One of these losers is the junior senator from Utah, Mittens Romney.<\/p>\n

Mittens has despised President Trump since then Candidate Trump blew away the Establishment candidates in the 2016 primaries. This useless fool then tried to take the nomination from Donald Trump in a floor fight during the Republican National Convention. He failed miserably.<\/p>\n

After the election, Mittens went hat in hand to President-Elect Trump looking for a job. Then President-Elect Trump politely listened and then showed the backstabbing Uniparty weasel the door. Mittens next brilliant idea was to run for the seat of retiring RINO Orrin Hatch. In order to win this seat, Mittens once again lied through his teeth to the voters and was able to con his way to victory.<\/p>\n

Once his butt was firmly entrenched in the Senate, he once again turned on President Trump. He voted to convict President Trump in the first Deep State attempt to remove President Trump from office, and he did it again in the latest attempt to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d Mittens is now toast with the voters of Utah, and will be \u201cOne and done\u201d again. (The first time was his single term as governor of Massachusetts. He chose not to run for reelection due to ill health. The voters were sick of him)<\/p>\n

Now, his recent actions have pissed off the legislature in Utah and they are looking to recall his Deep State Uniparty RINO ass. Here are the details from The Deseret News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

As news of Sen. Mitt Romney<\/a>\u2019s vote to convict President Donald Trump spread, interest in a Utah lawmaker\u2019s bill to allow Utahns to recall an elected U.S. senator<\/a> began to catch fire at the state Capitol. <\/b>Rep. Tim Quinn, R-Heber City, said Wednesday he received more than 100 phone calls and 250 emails in just over an hour that were \u201c100% positive to the bill.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Though Quinn said the proposal was in the works before impeachment and is not about Romney, he picked up a half dozen House co-sponsors after Romney announced on the U.S. Senate floor that he would vote to find Trump guilty of abuse of power. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cRegardless of how you feel about the bill, regardless about how you feel about either one of our senators, I recognize this is a tough bill to be asked to vote on,\u201d Quinn said. <\/b><\/p>\n

Actually, it isn\u2019t all that tough. The question is, can the state legislature recall Mittens and remove him from his position as Senator? Sadly, I don\u2019t believe so.<\/p>\n

Quinn wouldn\u2019t say whether he believes Romney should be recalled, but said there ought to be a way for residents to remove a senator who they believe isn\u2019t doing what he was elected to do. <\/b><\/p>\n

And to this, I firmly agree. However, I think it will require a constitutional amendment. Perhaps one that starts with repealing the 17th<\/sup> Amendment, which took the appointment of senators from the legislature and made it a popular vote. As for Mittens, he claims to not know if his vote might hurt his chances of reelection.<\/p>\n

Romney said it\u2019s hard to know if his vote will hurt his chances for reelection, which he won\u2019t be up for until 2024. He said he\u2019s only talked to his immediate staff about possible consequences and doesn\u2019t have a plan to deal with the fallout at this point. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what might happen in the Utah Legislature,\u201d he said, acknowledging he is aware of Quinn\u2019s recall bill. \u201cI will accept whatever consequence is sent my way and recognize that is part of the job. People don\u2019t expect me to be a shrinking violet.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Mittens is an arrogant ass, and a paid up member of the Deep State Beltway Uniparty Elite. He sees his job as ruling over people, not administering their affairs. His basic opinion of his constituents boils down to \u201cShut up and do as I tell you peon!\u201d<\/p>\n

Romney isn\u2019t naive to the fact that his vote will have serious political and personal consequences in Washington and in Utah. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cI know there\u2019s going to be a lot of blowback from leaders in my party here. I presume I\u2019ll receive the same reaction from leaders in my party in Utah,\u201d Romney, R-Utah, told reporters in a conference call after his floor speech. \u201cOf course, the animosity that might be leveled from people in the street is going to be real as well.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Animosity is putting it lightly. I know a few people out in Utah and the word I\u2019m hearing is lynch mob. While the people I talk to are using that phrase as hyperbole, I don\u2019t doubt there are a few people out there who might want to take Mittens out into the desert and leave him there with a can of motor oil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On the flip side are the morons, (No, I did NOT typo Mormons. That bigotry has no place here), who think that Mittens did the right thing.<\/p>\n

But there was also support for the senator in the Beehive State. With cheers of \u201cThank you, Mitt,\u201d about 50 demonstrators braved snowy weather to gather in downtown Salt Lake City at the Wallace F. Bennett Federal Building in praise of Romney\u2019s vote. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cMitt used to have a representation as kind of a guy without much spine. I think today he proved his spine, and it is made of steel,\u201d said Joanne Slotnik, with Salt Lake Indivisible. \u201cHe is a true American, and it doesn\u2019t matter whether he\u2019s a Republican or a Democrat or anything else. We support him.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Laura Dupuy, of Salt Lake City, cheered as she held a white sign that said \u201cWe love Mitt.\u201d She fought tears as she reflected on Romney\u2019s vote, which she said made her proud to live in Utah. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI never in a million years thought I\u2019d be making a sign like this, but I just have to show my love,\u201d said Dupuy, a 67-year-old Democrat and the retired executive director of the nonprofit Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy. \u201cTo have one Republican stand up for the integrity of our Constitution and our country, it\u2019s a combination of joy, but also deep despair and sadness, that we\u2019ve become so partisan.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m guessing that most of these people are Democrats or TransRepublicans. From what I\u2019m hearing, most people have had it with Mittens including the State Republican Party.<\/p>\n

The Utah Republican Party Chairman Derek Brown rebuked Romney, saying, \u201cWe as a party strongly disagree with the vote cast today by Senator Romney, and firmly stand behind our President.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

On the other hand, the Wishy Washy spineless brigade is also making an appearance.<\/p>\n

Utah House Majority Leader Francis Gibson, R-Mapleton, described GOP lawmakers\u2019 reaction to Romney\u2019s vote as a \u201cmixed bag.\u201d Gibson wouldn\u2019t say whether he personally believes Romney should be recalled were Quinn\u2019s bill to pass. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cListen, he\u2019s my senator. He was elected by the state of Utah. He has a six-year term,\u201d he said. \u201cShould he be recalled? I\u2019m not going to answer should he be recalled. Am I frustrated with him? Yes.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

In any case, a vote to recall Mittens from the State Legislature is a moot point. There is no mechanism to recall a sitting United States senator except through expulsion by the United States Senate. This will not happen since Mittens will be protected, for now, by the Democratic CommuNazis as well as the Deep State Uniparty RINO\u2019s of the GOPe. Should he be removed from his seat? I\u2019m of the opinion he should never have been elected in the first place. We in the Northeast did try to warn people in Utah, but they wouldn\u2019t listen. Now you\u2019re stuck with this lying pile of horse manure for the next few years.<\/p>\n
