Good day all. Since the Great Panicdemic of 2020 kicked in and people started panicking over a very bad cold, keeping people from traveling internationally has been the norm. However, Dementia Joe\u2019s handlers have decided that preventing people from moving around inside of the Untied States might be a great idea.<\/p>\n

One of the things the Constitution does is make sure that people, goods and services can cross state lines. In the early days of the Republic, it was thought that letting states block goods from coming in would be a bad idea. This wise move became known as the Commerce Clause<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Up until the Roosevelt Administration, (FDR, not Teddy), the Commerce Clause was only used to make sure America became economically strong. (I\u2019ll let others deal with the history) It was under Roosevelt\u2019s New Deal the Commerce Clause was turned on it\u2019s head and became tool of of the Central Government to regulate and control all aspects of American Life.<\/p>\n

Now it appears that Dementia Joe, peaking out of the cardboard box in the White House bunker thinks the time has come to stop people from traveling across the country. Here are the details from the Miami Herald<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Biden administration is considering whether to impose domestic travel restrictions, including on Florida, fearful that coronavirus mutations are threatening to reverse hard-fought progress on the pandemic. <\/b><\/p>\n

Outbreaks of the new variants \u2014 including a highly contagious one first identified in the United Kingdom, as well as others from South Africa and Brazil that scientists worry can evade existing vaccines \u2014 have lent urgency to a review of potential travel restrictions within the United States, one federal official said. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

First, the Coronavirus is basically a bad cold. Second, anything you have to test people for to find out if they actually have it, isn\u2019t that bad. Third, for those that do catch it, it is so deadly that something like 99.97 percent of the people recover.<\/p>\n

The reason the Fake President and his handlers want to stop interstate travel is twofold. First, to punish states like Florida which have said \u201cEnough!\u201d and have opened back up for business and life. They have told Dementia Joe that he can go pound sand and his handlers aren\u2019t happy about that. The second reason is more basic. Control. Restricting people\u2019s right to travel means more power to the central government.<\/p>\n

Discussions in the administration over potential travel restrictions do not target a specific state but focus on how to prevent the spread of variants that appear to be surging in a number of states, including Florida and California. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are active conversations about what could help mitigate spread here, but we have to follow the data and what\u2019s going to work. We did this with South Africa, we did this with Brazil, because we got clear guidance,\u201d one White House official said. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cBut we\u2019re having conversations about anything that would help mitigate spread,\u201d the official said, referring to discussions about new travel restrictions that could target the spread of the U.K. mutation in Florida. <\/b><\/p>\n

The simple fact is, the lock-downs failed miserably. They just do not work. Also, in case you have forgotten. The original reason for the lock-downs was to give the hospitals time to prepare for the massive influx if critically ill patients, something that was to take 2-4 weeks. That massive influx? It never happened.<\/p>\n

Two federal government officials underscored that no policy announcements are imminent, and that any move to restrict travel or impose new health measures would be taken in partnership with state and local governments. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cNo decisions have been made, but we certainly are having conversations across government,\u201d the White House official said, pointing to current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention encouraging Americans to stay home and only travel for essential reasons. <\/b><\/p>\n

The CDC can kiss my shiny fleshy ass. They have no credibility any longer and frankly, a complete flushing of the current administration of the CDC may well be in order, starting with that fraud, Fauci.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a war and we\u2019re at battle with the virus. War is messy and unpredictable, and all options are on the table,\u201d the official said. <\/b><\/p>\n

Oh you want war do you? Try and impose this and there is a very good chance you will get a war, just not the one you may be thinking of.<\/p>\n

On his first full day in office, President Joe Biden directed the CDC, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Homeland Security to \u201cpromptly\u201d draw up a list<\/a> of recommendations on \u201chow their respective agencies may impose additional public health measures for domestic travel.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

In recent days, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and CDC Director Rochelle Walensky have said they are examining whether to require COVID-19 testing for travelers<\/a> on domestic flights \u2013 a move that has drawn opposition<\/a> from airline executives. <\/b><\/p>\n

Ahh yes, good old Buttplug. He was a failed mayor, failed presidential candidate and now will be moving on to being a failed Secretary of Transportation. He has never met a bad idea he didn\u2019t like, and typical of all Leftists, has nothing but contempt for the rights if the individual, include the right to travel between the states. (Yes it\u2019s in the constitution<\/a>)<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had been pushing the use of a mask mandate, so we were very pleased to see the Biden administration put an executive order in place requiring masks in general spaces and in the airspace. That\u2019s absolutely critical,\u201d Barnes said. \u201cWe have some concerns around the idea of a domestic testing requirement, because not only would it require a 42% increase in the testing capacity nationwide, but it\u2019s really not scalable, feasible or effective.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

And the face diapers aren\u2019t at all effective either, not that the Deep State Uniparty will ever admit to that.<\/p>\n

Gov. Ron DeSantis has kept Florida\u2019s economy open even as the virus and its variants spread. Early on in the pandemic, he issued an executive order requiring travelers from New York, Connecticut and New Jersey to isolate for 14 days. He rescinded the order in August. <\/b><\/p>\n

Back then he made the same mistake as most of the governors who panicked at what they were being told. Unlike most of the governors, he learned from his mistakes. (Governor Kristi Noem never made the mistakes in the first place)<\/p>\n

In response to this report, Meredith Beatrice, a spokeswoman for DeSantis, said the governor \u201copposes travel restrictions and does not believe diagnostic tests should be a prerequisite to domestic air travel.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida wrote a letter to Biden saying that travel restrictions on the state would be \u201creckless and economically harmful.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cInstituting a travel ban, or any restriction of movement between the states, would be an outrageous, authoritarian move that has no basis in law or science,\u201d Rubio wrote. The White House has not said that it is considering a Florida travel ban. <\/b><\/p>\n

That\u2019s the point. The whole idea is to harm Florida and put the blame on DeSantis and the other Republicans. Don\u2019t forget, the plan for the Democratic CommuNazis is to gain and maintain single party rule. Only then can they create the Utopia that the ruling elites desire and deserve.<\/p>\n

On Biden\u2019s first day in office, he signed an executive order mandating the use of masks at all airports and on all commercial flights, ferries, trains and intercity buses.<\/b><\/p>\n

And many are telling him to go commit an impossible sexual act on himself too.<\/p>\n

While the federal government has sole authority over international borders, it defers to states over domestic quarantines during public health emergencies. <\/b><\/p>\n

Not to worry, the CommuNazis fully intend to take full control of the states as well and institute central control from Washington. If they have to do it from the Top down, then so be it. (They prefer to do it that way in any case)<\/p>\n

The U.S. Supreme Court has long held that Americans have a constitutional right to travel between states, including a 1941 case striking down California\u2019s attempt to ban economic migrants from entering the state. <\/b><\/p>\n

Not to worry, as soon as they finish packing the courts, that problem will go away.<\/p>\n

But federal officials do have powers to restrict travel between states during a pandemic, according to the Public Health Service Act that uses language from an 1890 law allowing the federal government to make and enforce regulations to prevent the spread of communicable diseases \u201cfrom one State or possession into any other State or possession.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

And that is very questionable, as well as being outdated. I don\u2019t believe it has been challenged in court yet. I would like to see the Fake President try putting up federal road blocks to prevent people from traveling to different states. The body count among those manning the road blocks would escalate in fairly short order.<\/p>\n

The CDC typically only uses those powers on individuals who have tested positive or were likely exposed to a communicable disease, such as a \u201cdo not board\u201d list<\/a> for air travel for people with tuberculosis or measles. The agency has historically not applied the statute to wide swathes of the population who may be at risk. It may be time for that to change, said Polly Price, professor of law and global health at Emory University. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIn a pandemic, if any state fails, all states fail,\u201d Price said. \u201cI do think the authority is there for imposing some kind of federal domestic travel restrictions based on whether one state threatens to spread contagious disease into another state,\u201d such as enforcing a nationwide quarantine period for travelers coming from states where a certain percentage of the population is testing positive for variants. <\/b><\/p>\n

I looked up this tyrant wannabe. She is a graduate of Harvard law, so no surprise on not understanding the Constitution and individual rights, and apparently has never actually practiced law. Basically she is a typical ivory tower elitist with no actual experience in the real world. No doubt she voted fro the senile pedophile.<\/p>\n

Whether modern-day courts would uphold broad federal restrictions on domestic travel is an open question. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is all uncharted territory. It\u2019s possible, but it\u2019s totally untested,\u201d said Meryl Chertoff, an adjunct professor at Georgetown Law and executive director of the Georgetown Project on State and Local Government Policy and Law. <\/b><\/p>\n

Legal justification for a travel shutdown for residents of an entire state \u2014 something known in legal and epidemiological circles as a \u201ccordon sanitaire\u201d \u2014 would have to meet an extremely high bar. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a very severe restriction on personal liberty,\u201d Chertoff said. \u201cIf one took that to court, the question would be: Isn\u2019t there a less restrictive means to accomplish that objective?\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

It would also have a small problem with people following the governments orders. Right now people are furious with the lock-downs and economic destruction caused by the governors, and protests have been ongoing. Start turning people back at state lines, or even city lines and you will have violence.<\/p>\n

Beyond the legal questions, there are intertwined political and public health considerations. Kissler, the Harvard epidemiologist, said that the risks of an adversarial relationship between the Biden administration and DeSantis are real. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are probably some epidemiological reasons to impose a travel restriction, but of course, epidemiology is only part of the story,\u201d Kissler said. \u201cSo much of epidemiology is based on trust and a presumption of good will. If that goes out the window, nothing else works.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Thanks to the Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazis and their flat out hatred of the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump, they always would do the exact opposite of whatever President Trump did. When President Trump wanted to stop travel between the United States and China early on, the CommuNazis went in the opposite direction and came up with the really racist idea of \u201cGo out and hug a Chinaman.\u201d<\/p>\n

Next came suggestions to close down the economy for a couple of weeks to allow hospitals to clear the decks for the anticipated influx of plague victims. That influx never happened and the massive resources made available went unused. People see this and are coming to the conclusion that the Wuhan Flu is not that bad, and the fact that people who actually contract it get over it in a couple of weeks is putting the lie to the idea that \u201cWe\u2019re all gonna die!<\/p>\n

The Deep State Uniparty desires two things. Absolute control and absolute power. President Trump disrupted these goals and when the China Virus showed up, they saw this as a way to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d Sadly, they managed to pull off the Great Election Theft of 2020 and we now have the Fake President currently in place, doing the bidding of the Deep State. Turning the United States into Prison America and using what is turning out to be nothing more then a bad cold to do it is their next step. Tin foil hat territory? Oh I certainly hope so.<\/p>\n
