Good day all. just after the events of January 6th, the Twitter like service called Parler was, to be blunt, murdered by Big Tech. In the space of about 36 hours, the Apple and Google app stores removed the Parler app. Then, with almost no notice, Amazon Web Services took Parler offline permanently.<\/p>\n

Parler took Amazon to court and frankly, many thought they had a good case for a Temporary Restraining Order. However, the judge denied it and killed the case. (There may be another case regarding the contract violations and whatnot, I’ll let others deal with that)<\/p>\n

There has also been a bit of drama on the back end, with the CEO being fired. In any case, Parler was able to get their data off AWS and then went looking for a new home. There was talk of them going to the same service that hosts Gab, and rumors of a Russian service.<\/p>\n

Well, as of today, Parler is back online!<\/p>\n

Anger Central does have an account and we have just posted to i<\/a>t to verify that it is back up and running. We’re looking at how to build a post to Parler button<\/a> on our site, but that is going to take some work. The important thing is that the Progressive Liberal Totalitarian, anti-1st Amendment tyrants from Big Tech have lost, and Free Speech has won.<\/p>\n
