Good day all. Last weekend, (May 1st<\/sup>) the Utah Republican Party had a convention. In attendance was Senator Mittens Romney. It seems he was given all the respect and accolades he truly deserves after trying to Impeach the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump. He was booed almost off the stage.<\/p>\n

Besides being booed, Mittens was also the subject of a censure movement. He did manage to beat that off, thanks to the RINO\u2019s in the Utah GOP. However, things aren\u2019t looking to good for Mittens political future. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney<\/a> was booed by audience members when he took the stage at the Utah GOP convention Saturday. <\/b><\/p>\n

Romney has faced negative backlash and a censure threat by the GOP delegation for his votes to impeach Donald Trump. <\/b><\/p>\n

But Chairman of the Utah GOP, Derek Brown, interrupted Romney\u2019s speech to tell the rowdy crowd to simmer down. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Perhaps Mr. Brown might want to check with Mittens constituents. Many of them are not happy with the slimy carpetbagger. Romney, on the other hand, decided that showing how Never Trump he is would be a winning hand.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m a man who says what he means, and you know I was not a fan of our last president\u2019s character issues,” Romney said as the crowd threw insults at him including “communist” and “traitor,” first reported The Salt Lake Tribune<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

“You can boo all you like,” Romney said. “I\u2019ve been a Republican all of my life. My dad was the governor of Michigan and I was the Republican nominee for president in 2012.” <\/b><\/p>\n

No, you are the FAILED nominee. You threw the election away Mittens, and no one has forgotten that. You had King Putt on the ropes and you let him get up and beat you like a drum.<\/p>\n

But despite the negative reaction the longtime Utah Republican ended his speech on a positive note. <\/b><\/p>\n

“We need to come together in strength and unity,” he said. <\/b><\/p>\n

And we will, but it won\u2019t be around you. The people in Utah that I know, who supported your senate race are having a massive case of buyers remorse. They now see you for what you are, a two timing, backstabbing weasel.<\/p>\n

While Romney was greeted with boos by some, others stood up to counter the negative reaction and applaud the senator \u2013 signifying the split the Republican Party has seen on a national scale between traditional conservatives and Trump-championed voters.<\/b><\/p>\n

That split is growing and not in the favor of the Romney wing of the GOP. Romney is part of the old GOP(e), also known as the \u201cCountry Club Republicans.\u201d They are basically Democrat Lite and have been ignoring their constituents for decades. Ronald Reagan was the first to start dealing with them, but it was President Trump who showed America what a bunch of pansy\u2019s the old School \u201cConservatives\u201d actually were.<\/p>\n

Utah Republicans ultimately voted Saturday not to censure Romney, who was joined by six other GOP senators including Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Richard Burr of North Carolina, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, to impeach Trump. <\/b><\/p>\n

And all of them, with the possible exception of Collins, are probably going to lose their primaries. Toomey is already announced he won\u2019t run again due to ill health. The voters are sick of him. Collins is basically a Democrat, but identifies as a Republican, In other words, she is a classic RINO. Eventually, Maine will get rid of her and go hard communist.<\/p>\n

Romney doesn\u2019t face\u00a0voter repercussions in\u00a0an impending re-election race like Murkowski in 2022, but his critical stance against Trump following the Jan. 6 Capitol attack was nothing new. Romney also voted to impeach Trump during his 2019 impeachment trial, which could prove problematic for the senator should he seek reelection in 2024. <\/b><\/p>\n

Mittens hates President Trump because Donald Trump did something Mittens couldn\u2019t. Win the office of President of the United States of America. Mittens, like all of the GOP(e), still can\u2019t understand why President Trump is considered a \u201cGreat President.\u201d The reason is simple.<\/p>\n

First, he didn\u2019t make promises solely to get elected. When he made promises he intended to keep them and for the most part, he did. Where he didn\u2019t, he made the effort to do so and was stymied by corrupt Obama judges, Democrats who\u2019s only interest is power, and Transrepublicans like Mittens Romney.<\/p>\n

Second, and to a great extent, far more importantly, President Trump, when attacked, hit back and harder if he could. This shocked the GOP Elites, who always would apologize, drop their pants and bend over for the media and the Democrats.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Romney, Cheney, Murkowski and the other TransRepublicans are fighting a desperate battle for relevance. If they are forced from their offices, it spells not only the end to their dreams of increasing wealth and power, but shows the GOP that President Trump is right and they are wrong. Like all elitists, they are totally out of touch with what is going on and will be wondering what happened as the virtual political Guillotine blade drops.<\/p>\n
