We&#8217;ve been seeing a rash of new user sign ups, but almost nothing showing up in postings.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Both the Angry Webmaster and I have been examining them, as well as the spam filters. We&#8217;re getting a lot of&#8230;well, I&#8217;m going to call it what it is. Crap. I am thinking of purging the lists of users.<\/p>\n<p>The only problem with this is that I knew there are a few legitimate users in there. If I purge the lists, then people who come in and try to log in will find themselves locked out. The alternative is to just ignore this and monitor the spam traps.<\/p>\n<p>A pondering I am doing.<\/p>\n<p>Feel free to offer any thoughts on this.
