SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.<\/strong><\/p>\nThis Act may be cited as the \u2018National Emergency Centers Establishment
\nAct\u2019.<\/p>\n
SEC. 2. ESTABLISHMENT OF NATIONAL EMERGENCY CENTERS.<\/p>\n
(a) In General- In accordance with the requirements of this Act, the
\nSecretary of Homeland Security shall establish not fewer than 6
\nnational emergency centers on military installations.<\/p>\n
(b) Purpose of National Emergency Centers- The purpose of a national
\nemergency center shall be to use existing infrastructure–<\/p>\n
(1) to provide temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance
\nto individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major
\ndisaster;<\/p>\n
(2) to provide centralized locations for the purposes of training and
\nensuring the coordination of Federal, State, and local first
\nresponders;<\/p>\n
(3) to provide centralized locations to improve the coordination of
\npreparedness, response, and recovery efforts of government, private,
\nand not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations; and<\/p>\n
(4) to meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of
\nHomeland Security.<\/p>\n
This piece of garbage passing as legislation would in effect allow Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano, the secretary of Homeland Security to designate anyone a terrorist and have them picked up.<\/p>\n
In an unclassified report entitled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment,” Secretary for Homeland Security Janet Napolitano and her agency included the following description of “extremists:”<\/p>\n
“Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”<\/em><\/p>\nSo, are all of you 52’rs who voted for the thug in chief happy? You do understand that if this passes they WILL start rounding up “Subversives” who “Might pose a threat.”<\/p>\n
